I got this one because I am worry having the parts that I put my mouth on exposed to the outside environment. I considered the quencher flip straw, but the top of the straw is still exposed when folded down. I also worry about mold gathering in the crevices. This one was a no brainer for me, especially because you can put hot or cold drinks in this one. it's also easy to wash! I definitely recommend this one.

Love that the silicone is painted on the glass. The silicone bumper adds a bit of slip and bump protection, especially when placing the bottle on a granite counter top. I do wish there was a simple cap, with or without a drinking spout, so the bottle does n't leak. For instance, my water bottle often ends up tipped over on the passenger seat of my car, and the current lid does leak, a little quicker than I realized originally.

I normally carry around a stainless steel 25 oz. water bottle on my backpack and around in the car but it was a bit of a hassle for the gym. I ordered this bottle for that purpose and it fit the bill. I can mix in Amino Acid powder and drink easily from it. The cap arm has tension to hold it back when drinking and the handle is excellent. The rubber base is a great feature as well for stability when standing it up but it does n't fit in the car cup holder, the only downside. The texture on the cap is easy to grip. I 'm quite satisfied with my purchase.

I read the reviews before purchasing and almost went with the older model even though I really liked the color options and silicone bumper included with this one. Reviews said that the bottle sweated a lot and that the new ice blocker spout prevented water from flowing and the cap from being cleaned properly. None of that is true for me. Water flows just as it does from any other bottle I 've owned( perhaps even better than from my hydroflask lid) and the cap is super easy to clean. I love the silicone bumper, and especially love the carrying handle( makes multi tasking and taking it on walks super easy). My kids are rough on thier bottles, once by using it to try to get a ball that was stuck in a tree down by throwing the bottle up into the tree several times and letting it fall to the ground!! It was dented after that, but despite the abuse, the water stayed cold and it did n't leak at all for the 2- 3 weeks it took me to get around to getting the replacement bottle. We love the spout lid! It's simple to use and easy to clean! I order replacement gaskets to keep on hand in case they begin to mold, which has happened twice in all of the years we 've used them.

I had purchased one of the limited editions a few years back for the Parks for All partnership I got the Hawaiian Volcanoes 32 oz flask and was super satisfied. I began looking around for a new canteen for my new job that will be outdoors in the Texas elements. I decided to come back for another Hydro Flask for work and got one of the larger canteens the 64 oz in black with the flex straw. I have already been using it for a few months and I am satisfied again with Hydro Flask. For a 64oz it's very light weight, i personally noticed it kept my iced water colder a little longer than 24 hours, and durable I have accidentally dropped it, banged it and scuffed it and its still holding up. I also enjoy the fact the products are very easy to dissemble and clean. BTW I totally recommend at max a weekly cleaning and not just for Hydro Flask but for any other product to prevent build up of gunk and mildew. But overall the canteen is a great buy, and now that summer is around the corner I am excited to have a container filled with water for my work day. Hydrate Hydrate HYDRATE!!!!! lol.
