I appreciate the rear foot stability provided by the deep snug heel counter. I got a great fit by removing the insoles to insert my custom full length foot orthotics. A few triangles of synthetic material seem to be somewhat breathable. The forefoot is flexible and roomy, for the balls of the feet and the toes. Good ground feel and ‘ touch ’. They have a cool classic look. These days in Nike, I am either a Men ’s 11 or 11. 5 Medium. The 11. 5 is just right- with thin socks, like the Nike Spark socks.

I bought this shoe because I had previously used the FJ Contour Jogger golf shoe that had the same sole. The Contour casual has the same benefit of the excellent gripping sole( without spikes) and also the ability to go car to pro shop( not wearing out golf cleats). The leather on this shoe is amazing and if you 've owned FJ before, you know to buy something when it's available because there's always the poss of things changing in future years with sytle etc. The functionality of this shoe is A++, the quality is A++, the durability is A++. I can not speak for waterproof quality as I have not worn the shoe in wet conditions, but FJ has always warrantied thier products well and so I think that will be A+ as well.

Just played my first round with these yesterday and they did not disappoint! This shoe has it all with excellent traction and stability, yet so comfortable at the same time. The fit around my heel is nice and sung, which was a major factor in pulling the trigger on these( tried on 10 different shoes and my heel was slipping in all of them but these). Played in dry conditions so haven ’ t tested the waterproof functionality and grip in wet weather, but I have no doubts they will hold up fine. These definitely aren ’ t cheap, but you get what you pay for. These are worth every penny and are the top spikeless on the market right now, IMO. Two thumbs up 👍👍

This shoe has been amazing! With my old Vapor 9. 5's, which were totally beat down after several years, I was feeling seriously abused after every match. These shoes are so much more padded and just as stable. I do n't know if I 'm crazy but I honestly feel better after playing with these shoes on. While the Vapor 9. 5's do feel lighter and faster I feel like my steps are bigger and stronger with the GP Challenge 1. End result, I think I am faster with these shoes on than with the old 9. 5's. If you 're a bigger player in the 6' 1 '' and taller range you 'll appreciate this shoe I think. I thought I was more of a size 12 in Nike but in this shoe I went with a 12. 5 after trying on some shoes at a local store. In pretty much any other shoe I wear a 12 but in this 12. 5 is definitely the correct fit.

My number one reason for leaving this review is that i just played 14 holes for a charity scramble, and it was rain before we started. The shoes made it 12 rounds before I could feel water getting in around the edges. Not bad for hurricane weather! I tried on several shoe brands and types before choosing this style and fit. The size was not accurate to what i would normally wear, but is very comfortable! I played golf once without a waterproof shoe on an early morning, never again. Since buying them I have played on a 102° day and yes my feet were hot, but I feel the shoes did there job of being breathable.

They are a good fit, the slip- on feature is great, and the first time out I wore them for a round of golf, a walk in a park dinner out. All in all about 10 hours and my feet felt great. I bought these as I patiently wait for the Scotties to arrive and have so far just used them on the range. I have to say that the advice to go up a half size is accurate, and these are ridiculously comfortable straight out of the box. I ’ ve not used them on grass but the comfort, grip and ability to pivot in them is excellent on the range mat. Very impressed with these on the range and I ’ m sure they will perform well on the grass too, although if Nike ever release the Scotties I won ’ t get the chance to try them! You do not need these abilities on a golf course, however, knowing you can run faster and jump higher leads to some much- needed on- course confidence. These fit true to size.
