Love them. They were to ‘ replace ’ a pair of 12 year old ones( that I am still wearing some for grungier activities). Chacos are the best all round footwear for adventures and everyday wear. I only wear shoes at work, but wear my chacos in to the office, change into shoes for the work day, and change back before going home. Sometimes I even wear them on job sites( I sell building materials) on the rainy days because they are easier to clean mud off of than boots! Will buy more( in another 15 years or so)

These are great! I previously wore a pair of all- black Classics with the same strap arrangement for almost a decade. When the tread and straps finally wore out and I wanted a different color, I decided to try these for a little more cushion. I like them so much! There's much less break- in time and they 're more squishy, but they still feel very supportive. I 'd absolutely re- buy( though I 'm hoping these last a while and are repairable should parts ever wear out so I do n't need to!).

[ These are my first pair of Chacos and I love them! After reading several reviews and trying on both the Z1 and the Z2, I opted for the Z2. I love the toe strap! I prefer a snug fit on my feet so I like the extra security the Z2 provides. I also like the look the toe strap provides. I wore these right out of the box on a field trip to the zoo with my kindergartener. Wore them again the next day too! Absolutely no rubbing or blisters! These are so comfortable on my feet and much more supportive than my cheap flipflops I 've worn for years. I am also enjoying not slipping all over the place when my sandals get wet. I 'd say there is a little bit of a learning curve on adjusting the straps but once you have it down it's a breeze. I think they run pretty true to size. I am usually a 6. 5- 7 in shoes and typically wear a 7/8 in flipflops. I ordered a size 7 and they fit perfectly. I ordered the black pair because we have tons of red clay where we live but I 'm already eyeballing other colors! I plan on wearing these all summer here in East Texas and ca n't wait to see how they hold up on our Buffalo River trip!

I went with the size 9, which fit, but I have all the straps pulled to their tightest settings. The shoes are still comfortable and I 've worn them a lot with no issue but I 'm not sure if the 8 would have been better? If you 're between sizes it may behoove you to try on both sizes.

[ I have several pairs of both Teva and Chaco( love hiking sandles) and I wanted something extra secure and durable for some hiking trips I have coming up. The only reason I am giving this 4 stars is because of the sizing issues. Most reviews I read said to size up if you are a half size. This is usually what I do with my Tevas( Usually an 8. 5, so I buy a 9.) That being said, with this specific shoe do not size up! I had to make the velcro straps on the back heels tight to fit and they hung off the sides quite a bit. I returned them and got an 8 and they fit perfectly with plenty of extra room to adjust as needed. Also I will say you do need to break these in more than other Teva sandles I have worn because of all the straps. I got a few blisters but now that I have had them for a few weeks, they are great! super secure and comfortable:)

[ Bought for a BWCA trip this July and was very pleased with the comfort and grip in water during portages and general use. Only issue I had which was before even leaving for the trip- was the loop on the back of one of the shoes ripped off the first time I put it on. Did n't leave me with a great first impression and curious to see how they will hold up after another few trips but I 've had positive experiences with Kamik so far so I 'm not that worried about the rest of the seams falling apart, I think the back loops were just not reinforced much.

I need arch support to NOT have foot pain. These are great. One issue I had was that the adjustable strap was too long, as my foot is not `` very tall. '' When I tightened the adjustable strap, the strap hit the floor/ground. So, I took them to a shoe repair shop and had the straps shortened by 1 inch. Now, they are perfect for my feet.

I was thrilled to see these sandals available in a wide width. I live in Z1 Chacos and was feeling limited by the lack of interesting colors available in the wide width. These are a true wide. Lots of extra strap so it took less than a minute to adjust the straps for my feet. Was out the door and walking. No tired feet. Thank you for listening and adding more Z1s in the wide width.

In 2019 i bought a pair of leather strappy sandals and wore them very frequently for 6 years. The held up well. I was ready to prder another pair only to find that thet no longer made that style so I took a chance on these. I like these as well, the soles are n't leather like the older version, the fit is adjustable with a zipper and plastic `` chacos '' buckles. I enjoy the zipper addition so far. The buckles make them a little sportier but i have still dressed them up. I 've worn them quite a bit and so far have no complaints. I may consider them in another color for spring.
