I 've been gaming this 2 iron for the past month or so. Helps when I 'm on a tee box with a narrow fairway and my driver is too risky. Have n't had a complaint yet other than it does launch a little higher than I expected it too. May be a problem on windy days but I have n't had many windy days to test it out. I did a mixed set of the p770's and the p- 7cb's. I went with the 4 iron thru 7 iron in the p770s. These irons have a great feel to them, and you can easily work draws and cuts with them. As a newbie golfer, I decided to upgrade my clubs this year to keep improving my game. My old clubs were cheap and outdated, so I went with the PING G440s, mainly because I ’ m a fan of the PING brand. And wow, I wasn ’ t disappointed! I have played with a lot of set of irons and without a doubt the ping i230 are the most precise clubs I have ever gamed. They offer solid forgiveness and the distances are off the chart. The i200 ’s were good, these are excellent. Best irons for low handicap players IMO. Scratch golfers may prefer something a little more blade like and workable, but these irons are extraordinary.

I just was fitted and the i230 with the Ping Alta CB AWT S shaft was the winner. I have never played graphite shafts on irons, but the Alta CB won me over; it's a joy to hit them. There is enough weight where I can feel the club, and the impact is butter smooth. I feel likes it is less work to get straight distance. The ball does not veer offline much, even with a poor swing. I tested other graphite shafts, and steelfiber, but the Alta CB kept feeling the best and hitting my launch and spin numbers. I 'm looking forward to gaming these this year.

I 've been using these irons for two full seasons since they came out in late 2022. Back then I was fit for a new driver and just wanted to also hit some irons as my previous set was almost a decade old. Hit irons from many different brands, but no model could compete with i230. These irons really hit a sweetspot of looking great, but not intimidating to an `` average '' golfer. And while this is also true for some competitors irons, none of those achieve what the i230 does: it's very forgiving for its size and consistent because it was not designed to just hit low- spin missiles. Irons with similar forgiveness are always built with distance in mind while i230 is all about scoring and creating playable shots with enough spin and height. Even the consistency out of the rough and in the wet is outstanding. Plus, the yardage gaps are perfect through the set while other sets get bunched at the top end and/or have huge gaps in the short irons and wedges. Plus, they also feel REALLY solid. Not as soft as a one- piece forging but very satistfying. Best comparison is hitting a nail with a hammer. Not soft, but solid and powerful.

After taking a break from golf for about 25 years, only playing maybe one a year, I decided that it was time seeing as how I went to part time work after 31 years in my profession. After buying a set of Mavrik ’s and not being able to hit them after leaving the big box store, I went to a fitter with my mind made up with buying the 425 ’s and my local golf shop talked me into trying the 730 ’s and I am so glad he did. I ended up buying the 730 ’s 6- 50 degree and started playing them. All I can say is that I can hit them high, long( 10+ yards in every club), and straight. I ended up ordering the 5 iron to compliment my set as well as driver, 3 and 5 wood of the G730 Max ’s. I am now playing weekly with these and my game has improved significantly! I hope these irons don ’ t wear out anytime soon! Very long irons and I hit these about 7- 10 yard farther than the Ping G710's. Very forgiving and they look outstanding. I am excited to see when Ping releases their next super game improvement iron and I hope they have the same losts as there.

Many times advertising is more hype than reality, but not this time. The G730 is EVERYTHING AND MORE that Ping says they are. The player friendly design shines in all facets. Off center hits are more on line and center hits explode off the face. I am seeing 5- 6 yards more carry on average. Mid to high handicappers should STRONGLY consider this iron. It ’s truly a game changer!

I purchased the Ping 430 driver about two months ago and WOW am I loving this club. I ’ m retired and I play once a week with two other gentlemen who are 10+ years older than me and I was constantly being embarrassed because they always out drove me until I bought this bad boy and now I hardly ever get out driven. It ’s added 20- 40 more yards to my drive with MUCH more forgiveness I ’ ve ever experienced in a driver. I also got a Ping 430# 3 hybrid to my bag and have wondered ever since why I ’ ve never owned one before now. I golf with an old set of ping zing 2 ’s and am going to finally upgrade my irons soon.

I bought a full set of Ping G430( 1- 3- 5 wood, 4i- PW) before the beginning of my last golf season in 2024( purchased in March, 2024). I love these clubs. Forgiving, great feel, consistency. I tested them twice because im an average inconsistent golfer at best and each time these did not dissappoint. I was using the covra ltdx irons and hit these side by side. The feel and weight of the club along with the pop off the clubface is amazing. Instantly went to the range and was averaging about 10- 15 yards further... Cant wait to get to the course!

Went in wanting to purchase the T350s, JPX hot metal, or the P790s. The associate had me hid the cobra darkspeed after all of those and launch angle, ball speed, and distance were all better with the darkspeed. Add in they were 500 dollars cheaper than the T350 it was a no brainer.

I am a 7. 2 handicap. Hit these clubs and fell in love with them. They look fantastic and have a nice feel without the harsh sound that some hollow body clubs produce. They are strong lofted so they are about 7- 8 yards longer than my previous set but still have enough spin and height to stop on the greens. I was torn between this club and the T200 and considered go with a mixed bag but in the end decided to go with the full set of T350's. My dispersion and distance control have met all my expectations. One thing to keep in mind is if you like to work the ball in either direction this may not be the right club for you and I would look at the T150's. Spin numbers and descent angle are good but not in player club territory IMO.

I was thinking about getting the older T300 irons, but decided to do a fitting. At the fitting I was able to swing them as well as these, and I 'm glad I did. Ended up deciding on these, have played 3 rounds with them, and have already seen a big improvement in my iron play. I am still a higher handicap player, but these are the most forgiving irons I have hit, and it shows on the course. Would recommend to any other higher handicap player.

I bought this set for my 15 year old that had recently taken up golf. I liked that the set had two hybrids replacing two long irons. I watched a video of a pro from 2nd Swing Golf hit shots with three different Cobra models including this model. This model performed similarly to models that cost twice as much. I took a few swings with the 7 iron and 5 hybrid and they seemed as good as my Pings.
