I ’ ve been gaming a TaylorMade Burner driver since 2009, and for the amount I play—maybe once a week—it always got the job done. It wasn ’ t the longest or most forgiving, but I stuck with it because I figured most of my issues came from my swing, not my equipment. That all changed after a recent swing analysis. I was trying to understand why I was missing fairways in both directions. The instructor broke it down pretty quickly: “ Your swing ’s come a long way, but your driver hasn ’ t. ” At first, I brushed it off. But a couple of months later, I figured it was finally time to upgrade. I checked out TaylorMade ’s site and the Qi35 caught my eye. Clean, modern look—had to try it. The stock setup felt decent, but I knew it needed to match my faster swing. I upgraded the shaft to a Mitsubishi Kai ’ li CB 60S, and man, what a difference. This thing is an absolute fairway finder. The forgiveness is real—even on off- center hits, I ’ m still getting solid carry and dispersion. The sound is muted but powerful, and the feel off the face is pure. With my old Burner, I was struggling to stay consistent off the tee. With the Qi35, I feel in total control—like I finally have a driver that fits me. I first set foot on a golf course in 1995 at Nevis and the fellow I was flying for rented me a set of Callaway's. Since then, I have wanted a custom set of Callaway clubs. Last year I bought a complete custom set of irons, pitching and sand wedges with a three wood. I 'm seventy and this year could only get 140 yards out of my thirty- year- old driver. The experience I had with the Callaway three wood made me think I may do better with a new driver, so I bought the Star for its light weight. I 'm now driving 170 yards but that is n't the best part. It is very easy to hit good drives with this club. I 'm not topping balls or making other miss hits like I used to with the old driver and that alone removes strokes and adds yards to my game. I have played with the new driver twice and last time out I broke 100 for the first time. I enjoy my Callaway clubs very much and the Star driver has changed my world. It's worth every penny and more.

Back in the day I had the Callaway FT Optiforce and loved it. It was light, easy to hit and really long. At age 76 I was fitted for the Elyte 12 degree driver set at 11 degrees neutral. The driver performed better than expected at the course in distance and accuracy. I previously hit lower trajectories with a fade and roll out. First time using it on the course I hit 254 yards with a very slight draw and a center cut fairway. Throughout that round and subsequent rounds the driver continues to exceed my expectations in distance, accuracy, solid feel and I can control the trajectory in windy conditions. Tried a bunch of different drivers a couple months ago and I hit the TSR4 the best by far which was surprising because it ’s supposed to be the least forgiving of the Titleist drivers. It ’s been longer and more accurate than my TSI2. On average it ’s about 15 yards longer due to lower spin and my longest drives are about 25- 30 yards farther than my longest drives with the TSI2.

I was worried about the 44. 5 club length because I am 5' 2 '' and thought it would be too long. I tried the club because I knew that I could have the shaft shortened if necessary, but as it turns out I love the club. It's light and with my normal swing I am getting 10+ additional yards to my drive. I recommend this club even if you are a shortie. Now if you could only help with my fairway shots.

I ’ ve been gaming a TaylorMade Burner driver since 2009, and for the amount I play—maybe once a week—it always got the job done. It wasn ’ t the longest or most forgiving, but I stuck with it because I figured most of my issues came from my swing, not my equipment. That all changed after a recent swing analysis. I was trying to understand why I was missing fairways in both directions. The instructor broke it down pretty quickly: “ Your swing ’s come a long way, but your driver hasn ’ t. ” At first, I brushed it off. But a couple of months later, I figured it was finally time to upgrade. I checked out TaylorMade ’s site and the Qi35 caught my eye. Clean, modern look—had to try it. The stock setup felt decent, but I knew it needed to match my faster swing. I upgraded the shaft to a Mitsubishi Kai ’ li CB 60S, and man, what a difference. This thing is an absolute fairway finder. For the last 5 years I have been using a Cleveland Launcher( MFG date 2003?) and I hit it extremely well. My golf buddy recently bought a Cobra F9 and asked me to try it and to my astonishment I drove the ball farther with his club than I do with my own club SO I started looking for a newer driver. I purchased the Strata set in December to get back into things, but was slicing my driver to kingdom come; good distance but wildly inconsistent off the tee. Just got it a week ago. Triple diamond 8 ’ with velocore+ blue 60x at 45 ”. The initial launch is piercing with a little rise. Easy to hit a bleeding fade as well as a draw without making cog setup changes. Spin is perfect( 1800- 2200 rpm depending on shot type). The look of the top line is perfect. It feels like it sits just barely open when resting on the ground. The shaft itself is amazing. Just soft enough in the tip to make a draw slightly easier but it mainly wants to be a straight to fade kind of setup

I ’ ve never been consistent with a driver. I average about 250 off the tee with my 3 wood and only about 270 with my driver and only hit about half the fairways. Decided to just buy the elite mini driver 11. 5*. Wow. After 9 holes on Thursday night league and hitting every fairway averaging 265 I couldn ’ t be happier. Added 1 degree of loft. I feel like I can be more aggressive and swing down on the ball like a fairway wood. I like the larger head compared to the other new mini drivers and how much smaller it is than a regular driver. The main thing I like most is the shorter shaft. Give it a chance and it might make you replace your driver like I did.

I am about a 15 handicap and was previously using a Titleist TS2 that I could never quite get used to. I rented the Qi10 Max a few different times while traveling and it just “ felt right ” as soon as I started to play with it. Now that the newer models are out, the Qi10 fell within my price range and I ’ m super happy with it after playing a few rounds. The reputation is well earned as it is super forgiving, as my mishits still get plenty of distance. I also feel like I get a better arc on the drives than with my previous driver. I know that many characteristics are simply subjective, but this driver gives me confidence when I ’ m standing over it. If you can snag one of these on sale, I don ’ t think you ’ d be disappointed! I think this is my favorite driver since the R7!
