[ I ’ ve been seeking for a pair of shoes that are comfortable to walk in long distance, can maintain its support, and ultimately be my go- to walking shoes for the 1+ hr daily walks with my dog . I ’ m usually splitting my time between three different pairs of shoes for these daily walks- leather Jordans for when it ’s slightly wet outside, rain boots when it ’s really wet, and knitted running shoes for the nicer days in case we want to jog at any point during the walk . Because the Gore- Tex is versatile, it was able to address all three case needs and I have been wearing it every day for the past two weeks since I got them . The inside is not as soft like some other shoes but it ’s also not too hard like walking on the cement directly . There is a slight bounce that gives me comfort in knowing that the shoe is absorbing some shock from my footsteps and when I found myself at the beach with them on, I was pleasantly surprised that water and sand did not seep into the front of shoes like it normally would ’ ve with the knits( mind that I didn ’ t walk into the ocean with them on and am referring to an occasional splash while walking on the shore) . As for the design, I thought that the little weather icons on the shoelaces was a cute yet settled detail . I was worried that shoes like this would make my feet look clunky, but it ’s giving more of the contemporary fashion with an edge of construction workwear . Highly recommend them for a daily wear! I have yet to test them in arduous hiking or heavy downpours but my impression is that these will satisfy my daily walking needs longer than most other shoes .

Goo pair of she ’s . I am a beginner level runner . In these, I did a 5k and a 10k run so far . They are light and the cushion is better than my peg 39 shield pair . Not tried in the winter rain yet, will see that parth in warmer days . They are warm to feel in the cold weather . The soles are same as my peg 39 shield and storm tread sole is excellent for grip in wet or smooth surfaces, but the price is, it ’s impossible to clean once you got mud in . I had to go straight in garden and rinse it off, use a brush to remove the mud before it sets . I bought them on sale which seems OK price but would not pay full price . Buy at least half a size up, as they run a little small . Nike have never got the sizes right or consistent .

I bought the shoes because we own 2 large Golden Doodles who need to go outside or be walked several times a day . Sometimes we run . These shoes have gone thru mud, snow, puddles, and more, and never missed a beat . My feet stayed dry and I just rinsed the shoes upon returning inside and good as new . I normally wear a 7 . 5, but sized up to an 8 and the fit is perfect . I really like the extra room in the toebox, so I can wiggle my toes . However, the shoes do tend to run a bit narrow, so just a heads up if you have a wide foot .
