I bought these shoes at a local running store and I am in love with them! I never thought I could love a tennis shoe more. I bought them specifically for my job. I am a graphic designer most of the time but there are a few times a year that I am a photographer for my work and one is for a week at a time. It ’s about 4 hours of constant walking, bending, crouching and stretching which is not the norm for me. Last year I developed pain in my lower back that I had for many weeks after the event week was done and the event was a struggle to do well. I knew I couldn ’ t do that to myself this year and I know it ’s because of my shoe choice. I like back at my average step total for last years event was significantly lower than this year because I ’ m not in pain! The Ride is one of my favourite go to shoe from Saucony. It is a true runners' shoe in the sense that it is the total package; cushioning, flexibility, and responsiveness with a touch of inherent stability. The updates of the Ride see it getting lighter, with improved cushioning and fit. I recently did a 50k rail trail race and they held up well; my legs were n't as beat up as they usually are after a long race. It is a great shoe for just about any type of run including hard tempo efforts and Marathon paced efforts. If you didnt want to spend cash on a plated trainer, then this could be a single quiver shoe for the conscientious consumer. My only concern is that the rubber on the outsole is beginning to wear quickly. Although it is likely an aesthetic issue, it is something worth pointing out. Overall, I believe the shoes will last a long time due to the amount of overall cushioning and I will continue to pile up the miles on my new Rides.

This is my first time purchasing the endorphin speed. Typically run at least 50mi a week, and have been a huge fan of endorphin pro 2, 3, 4. However, I rarely get more than 350miles out of each endorphin pro before the midsole of the shoe separates from the upper knit at the arch. While I do n't feel as much pop from the speed, I can instantly tell the upper of the shoe is not going to have this problem as it is substantially more durable than the pro. The feel of speed is a little bit slower but I think it will hold up well as a trainer that takes on the bulk of my mileage so that I can save the pros for tempo runs and races

I have had the ride 17 for several months now and I LOVE these shoes! I enjoyed my previous rides( 15) but I did have several small issues with them and the ride 17s have fixed all of these issues! The ride 15s always felt a little narrow on my foot and they were hard to get on…the 17s fit wider and my foot slips into them easily! I have actually considered going down half a size but I live in an area that gets very hot in summer so decided to stick with my size 7s to allow for swollen feet! The previous 15s had very short laces and I had trouble doing double knots for race day…the 17s have lovely long laces so no need now for double knots! There is now a loop on the back of the heel which really helps with getting the shoe on! And they are. very cushioned as well as being responsive! I have been able to do faster sprint workouts( strides) which is really helping with my confidence for improving my next half marathon time! I have a spring half I am preparing for as well as a fall marathon, and although I would love to move up to a plated shoe( such as the endorphin speed 4) my budget doesn ’ t allow for another purchase right now so I will stick with the 17s.

I absolutely love these shoes! I ’ m prone to getting blisters but that isn ’ t a problem any more with these shoes. They are super lightweight, comfy, cushioned but still give you that bounce from the carbon plate. I feel like my runs are lighter and faster. I font feel any shock when I hit the ground so it feels like walking/running on clouds. I can not recommend these shoes enough! I plan on using these for race day. I bought these shoes 3 weeks ago and I would say they are the most comfortable shoes I have run in. I am a big guy weighing 110kg, but these shoes are so well cushioned that I do n't feel the impact of each footfall in my knees. I have also noticed a significant reduction/absence of the shin splints I used to have. The rockered sole also helps with forward propulsion. I got these for walking. So far I walked 50km in these and they feel amazing. My estimated normal size is ~13. 2 but since no one makes size 13. 5 I 'm usually either a bit cramped( big toe pushed inwards) in a 13 or swimming in a 14. I got these in size 14 and while they are slightly long, the lockdown around the midfoot is excellent and long length has never been a problem- on the contrary, I enjoy the airy feel in the toe box. The cushioning is just right for walking( or heavier runners)- it's noticeably stiffer than a typical running shoe so I do n't feel like I 'm walking on quicksand. I walked up to 15km per day in these, spending on my feet all day, and there was never any foot pain and my legs felt awesome. Moreover, I risked going on a trip wearing just these, having just purchased them- no blisters! I dig the black/white/gum style as it fits quite well with regular clothes.

These are my go to stability shoe for running and walking. They are very cushioned and also supportive. My street shoe size is 10 but I size up to 11 for running. I can be on my feel all day and still feeling good when I wear these

I was a big fan of the endorphin shift and the guide 17 was suggested as a replacement. So glad I took the advice, love them even more!

My back doesn ’ t hurt when wearing these shoes. They. are good all day. Don ’ t know about running as I no longer do it. Much better than the Guide 18 in the rocking shoe category. Still trying to find size 9 in the Guide 17.
