I recently used these in the tampa bay. The results were very good when nothing else was working, including live. They advertised as durable and that part is simply not true. These baits are very tender and do not last for more than a strike or two. Ill buy them again but rather expensive for being no tougher than they are.

I like Gulp because they are always in my box and I do n't waste an hour getting live bait. When fish are biting they are actually better than live shrimp because they stay on the hook longer and are not bitten off. You can also cast them further without them flying off like live shrimp often do. But honistly they are not quite as good as live shrimp when the bite is off, when the fishing is slow. But all in all I love these things and use them more often than live shrimp because they work most of the time and sometimes even better than live bait.

I was never a fan of artificial lures and decided to try these on a lark. I bought some about a month ago. Unexpectedly, they really work good. In the Gulf and Tampa Bay. So far I have caught numerous trout, grey snapper and black sea bass. Looking forward to see what else I can pull up. I feel confident using these even though they are, to me, a bit expensive due to so many bites.

I usually do n't give advice on my favorite lures because I let people find out for themselves, but this deserves more recognition! I 've been using this bait for over 3 years now while in Florida for the winter's. Typically the weather keeps us inshore and in the bay on the gulf coast. This bait continues to out preform my expectations not only for the amount of fish I catch but also the wide variety of fish. I have caught Snook, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Flounder, Ladyfish and of course Catfish. If I need live bait I can cut this up into little pieces and catch Grunt and Pinfish all day. Ive used this product more than five different trips and can say it works really good. 4 of the five trips we slammed the snapper, and grouper and even a couple cobia. One trip was not as good because it was really rough and the chum jerking up and down did not last long. I love that i can keep it on my boat as a secret weapon whne coming back from offshore trolling because it helps me keep my guests happy catching reef fish even when we dont do well trolling.
