This boot is so unbelievably comfortable, but it does run large. I have never, in my adult life, worn anything smaller than a 10 in any shoe( boot, sneaker, sandal, heel) but the size 10 in these was considerably larger than I could wear! Half size down should do it, and I ca n't wait for the 9. 5 to arrive. They are great quality, cozy, and well worth the spend.

I bought these to wear for myself as an adult. I have small feet and the children's sizes are significantly less expensive than the adult ones. These also have a lower temperature rating than the adult sizes for keeping your feet warmer. I have had a few times where the snow was deep enough it got into the holes on the sides used to help pull up the boot. As an adult, I would prefer those not be there. However, for a small child who may need help getting dressed, they seem to make sense. I have walked long distances in them pretty comfortably. I like that they can be tightened, but fit snug enough to use as a slip on boot. My only complaint is that they are not attractive for an adult woman( Again, they are designed for kids!) and that the tread on the bottom could be a little meatier. The `` Boa system '' is really cool. Instead of leather or cotton laces, it's a wire system that tightens up to your comfort when you twist the button on the front.
