I have been searching high and low for the perfect putter. I have tried many including a few from Odyssey. I 've had decent results but was never fully satisfied. Well with this odyssey 2 Ball Ten Tour Lines S putter, I declare my search complete. I absolutely love everything about it, the weight, the feel off the face, the roll, and less importantly, the looks. Alignment is a cinch. And keeping the putter on line with proper putting technique, is equally easy. I am rolling in more longer distance putts than ever. Some may say its a bit pricey. But if you consider it is the one club in your bag that you swing the most, it's worth every penny if it works for you as it does for me.

This is one of the better mallet putters on the market right now in my opinion. I game a competitors mallet version( not two ball), which I also love, which has a reputation of being very firm off the face. I was concerned from the reviews that this would be too soft. Happy to report it is n't, in fact I like the feel slightly better than my other mallet.. Also, I think this putter is miles better than the previous Ten version, which I owned with a jumbo grip. The two ball alignment is fantastic as is the standard grip. Best part is that it does everything very well, short medium and long distance and looks great in the bag! Putters fly in and out of my bag, but not this one( yet at least haha).... well done Callaway.

This putter is about as close to automatic as it gets. The stroke lab shaft really helps with tempo and the head is super stable and forgiving. As long as you hit it on the hinges it ’s going on line. Speaking of the hinges, they do an incredible job of getting the ball rolling quickly, especially on long putts. No more of those little jumpers! The feel is a little bit different, but it is easy to get used to—especially when you see the results! Can not recommend highly enough.

Bought the triple track tens when it first came out and it changed my putting. Never thought I ’ d look at a putter this soon but I don ’ t play the triple track ball to often so it was to much to look at. Went to a local dealer and saw the two ball ten and there was no looking back. Still love both putters, but this will be in my bag moving forward. Not sure about the complaints about the soft face. I had an odyssey versa I liked alot but it was older and needed an upgrade, I said okay it's time to get a mill putter being all the rage today. I figured Odyssey ’s toulon mill putter would be a perfect fit. Boy was I wrong, I can see why hardly anyone putts with them, not a fan at all. I previously had a blade putter and decided to try the mallet putter and I 'm glad I did. Even if I hit the putt of the heel or toe it still goes a good distance. I got this putter at 34 '' and 1 degree flat and it fits me very well with the putter being flat. The ball rolls smooth and true and I figure if it helped Scottie Schefflers putting it would at least help mine some and I think it did.

The grip is a thing leather wrap that should have been replace a long time ago but it has always felt right. The del monte l neck gave me that same feeling of confidence and more. Perfect putt for me, my stroke has a slight arc so the 30* toe hang is ideal, because I can also hit shorter putts straight back and through. And the weight is ‘ just right, ’ light enough to swing smoothly but with enough weight for longer putts. I have used LAB and Oddessey# 7 broomstick putters. I find the Spider Tour S Long much easier to align and see the intended line. I think it is the alignment coloring and the 90 deg shaft angle of the spider that make it easier to align and see the line than the other long putters I have used that have the shaft leaning forward out of the putter head. The putter is very stable at impact with great feel. I tried adding more weight to the Spider but went back to standard weight because the feel and flow are just great. Shot my lowest round of the year since switching to the Spider because I am making confident strokes since I can see the line so well with the Spider.

after a long 15 years of not playing I finally got back into the sport. I knew the one club I wanted to buy new was a putter so I set out on a mission of trying every putter I could get my hands on in my local stores. After about 4 trips I kelp finding myself spending the most time with one these in my hands for about 30 mins each time. The feeling was just amazing. after a long 15 years of not playing I finally got back into the sport. I knew the one club I wanted to buy new was a putter so I set out on a mission of trying every putter I could get my hands on in my local stores. I first tried the L. A. B. Golf OZ. 1 putter through a friend, and I was instantly blown away. For the first time, I felt like my putts were starting exactly where my eyes were aiming. I ’ ve always struggled with alignment using my Scotty Cameron offset putters. I started out fixated on the L. A. B. DF3 but I just could never get a good feel with it. Tried all the `` other '' balanced putters and was even less impressed. The the OZ1 and OZ1i came out tried them both several times at several different locations. The OZ1 has great feel and you can gauge how you need to hit it for the distance. Inside 6 feet it's 100%. The forward press takes a little adjustment, but I 'm seeing there is some leeway on how much you have to press it vs neutral, so you really just have to be aware of your alignment line no matter what amount you press and it's good.

This putter required me to improve my setup from left hand low to a more normal right hand low grip. The shaft lean is built into the club. I was not getting the full benefit with my old grip. Now my direction control is greatly improved. I am 1 putting more from inside 8- 10 feet. My distance control has also improved and has reduced exposure to 3 putt greens. As the golf season goes on, I am expecting even more improvement.

I 've played with this putter twice since I bought it. The first time, one of the guys in my regular group remarked that, `` It was a good purchase. '' I made 3 birdies with it that day. What I like about it, other than it looks great on the ground, is that, due to the elastomeric insert, the ball comes off dead instead of jumping off the face. This makes it much easier to judge distance. Also, the insert does n't accentuate faulty strokes like milled metal faces do. The lie of this putter lines the shaft up with my forearms, and I also like the amount of toe hang vs. face balance, which is about 45 degrees- this provides stability through the stroke but also allows me to roll the toe closed without feeling like I 'm fighting the putter like I do with fully face balanced models.

I purchased this putter at the beginning of December and have been messing around with it a bit lately. I could n't touch it for six weeks because of rotator cuff surgery but now I 'm out of the sling with lots of time on my hands! I 've spent about 7 hours putting in the past 3 days, and I really like how square it feels. I have my other putters with me and switch back and forth between them and I can definitely feel how straight this putter wants to stay. I have some toe sway in my backstroke from time to time and this feels like it helps that immensely. I love how the putter feels from 8' and in, but the head felt pretty light to me from outside of 8', like I really had to swing at the ball to get any distance. I did some research and found that the weights in the putter head are 5g and 15g and if replaced you should maintain that delta. So, I ordered a 25g weight and put it in the heel of the club and moved the 15g weight to the toe( removed the 5g) and I really like how it feels. This added 20g of weight. I also have a 35g weight being delivered and I 'm going to try a 35g/25g setup as well, that might be too much though, but I 'm interested to see. Specs say the head weight is 360g, with the weight I added, I 'm at 380g now, looking forward to trying 400g.

I went back again and tried the square 2 square double wide cruiser 38 inch. which in reality I kind of wanted to get more mallet style, but once I picked this up. The choice was obvious. Like everybody else, unless you forward press with this particular model you 'll mess up distancing badly. The 6 degree loft is downright crazy though useful if you want to give this to someone to force them to learn how to forward press ALL THE TIME. So I put a 2 degree forward press LAB grip and there is now very minimal need to forward press. Maybe I should try a 3 degree next time. Anyway I also have a DF3 and after the grip change they feel very similar BUT the S2S performs way more consistent. Cheaper better what more can you ask for. Sure for the price the built quality is n't on par with more expensive milled ones like my Bettinardi Queen B or Japanese boutique brands but hell ca n't argue with the performance if you 're paying less than 50% as much. PS: I also bend the lie angle to 70 degree as the S2S is designed to be bent 2 degree both ways why not make it the same as my DF3.

With all the `` busy '' looks of all the mallets out there, I decided to go back to a simple blade. Imagine my surprise when alignment made simple allowed me to free up the stroke and start rolling it pure again. The PLD Anser 30 is pure off the strike and not harsh with the mishits. I was n't in the market, but when I saw the naked Answer in the shop( you never see these), I thought someone made a mistake. The shaping is perfection to me, and I do n't want any sight lines, dots, etc. I love the putter... do n't see my backups making a reappearance anytime soon. Good value. Solid, no gimmicks. Got the original PLD Anser 2 and played and loved it for a year or so... i never thought i 'd part with this putter. Just rolled the Anser D. The looks are stunning but I was blown away by the feel of this putter. It's amazing in every way. Graphite shaft is new to me but i am really liking it. I have always loved the shape of the Anser 2. Now I 've converted to the wide blade and I ca n't go back. Both excellent putters... for me the Anser D is superior in looks and especially feel. Happy hunting!

I was in a golf store to buy some shoe spikes and a couple grips. The last thing on my mind was leaving with a new high priced putter, but I stopped by the putting room to roll a few for fun. Grabbed the usual Scotty, rolled a few with a couple others and then grabbed a PLD Anser 2 that caught my eye. I fell in love and bought it. I own 17 putters and rotate through them, never making up my mind to stick with any one of them... until now. I 've played about eight rounds with it and hours on the practice green. I ca n't put it down. The feel is amazing. I have never felt another putter that has this feel. It's just quality and inspires confidence. It's soft, but not white insert no feel kind of soft. More like how a muscle back feels when you hit it pure, only easy to make great contact. I 'm thinking about listing a bunch of putters on ebay because I ca n't imagine ever putting with anything else. For the first time in 40 years of playing golf, the only thing I feel like blaming for a missed putt is a bad read. This putter is perfect.

Just bought the milled PLD Anser D. I believe that it outshines the Cameron milled putters, and that is saying a lot. It is well balanced and smooth as butter. Its hybrid Anser shape suits my eye and feels a part of me. I feel confident on the greens and that is 90% of putting IMO.
