I bought this set with a bit of skepticism, but they were by far hitting better in the bay than TM, Ping, Callaway, and Mizuno Irons. I have more distance, spin, control, forgiveness and FUN with these irons than any I have ever played. I am a mid- handicapper at a 12, but I doubt I will ever want to swing different Irons at any point in my golf career. The light, stiff shaft are great at getting the ball in the air, and the spin rates are off the wall good. I wen 5i- gw and might add a custom 4i as well since I am so happy.

The loft on these are STRONG, I found myself underestimating my distances trying to break them in. Traded in my set of Callaways for the D9 irons and driver. I went with the senior shaft, which was a great decision. Both the irons and driver are easy to hit, getting more distance without over swinging, and the clubs just feel right. After spending some time at the driving range, I hit the course and shot a 78. Looking forward to my next round. Wilson needs to promote these clubs, they are a great buy.

I have had my D9 irons for 6 weeks and each time I play I am amazed at the feel, the distance and how easy they are to swing. They launch the ball high and land softly. I bought these irons to replace irons that I ’ ve had for 15 years. Distance has improved by 1 club across the board, really due to the stronger lofts compared to my old set. The most noticeable improvement is how the ball flies off the club face when hit pure and off- center hits still fly well due to the forgiveness, which was important to me as an average golfer. I have played Wilson Staff in the 70s and 80s and it seemed like all good players did. I ’ ve been waiting for them to get back to the top and they got it right this time. D7 Forged are the real deal. Look great, feel fantastic and go through the ground perfectly. They are long and forgiving. I am totally happy with them. I would recommend them to anyone. If you demo clubs you should add them to your list to try. As far as the mean review I ’ m sure if you contact Wilson they will be happy to take care of you. Mistakes can happen even to the best. Have you never made a mistake. Also different companies have different specs. There are no universal standards anymore.

I bought a full set of Ping G430( 1- 3- 5 wood, 4i- PW) before the beginning of my last golf season in 2024( purchased in March, 2024). I love these clubs. Forgiving, great feel, consistency. Despite the stronger loft than my previous irons these remain really easy to hit well and keep on target. If you are in the market for new clubs you really should give these a chance.

Many years ago I had the first PING irons SS 1001. Over the years I 've had most of the brands. I recently bought the 430 Driver, 3, 5& 7 woods and liked them so much I ordered the irons. PING really hit a grand slam with the 430 woods and irons. Very forgiving and long! If you ca n't hit fairway woods, try the 430's. Get fitted!

I did a fitting in- store before buying these clubs, and there's a lot of great irons out there. We had it narrowed down to two brands, and I ended up going with these because they had a set in stock. After playing a few rounds, I 'm still really happy with my choice. What really strikes me about these clubs is that they are both forgiving and provide feedback. When I hit it perfect, it feels perfect. When I mishit though, the club feel and sound let me know it was a mishit, but the ball still flies to about where I was trying to get it. Honestly, it's the perfect combination for someone like me who is actively trying to improve but still wants to enjoy the game.

My local club had a Taylormade fitting day. They fitted me for this set as an upgrade from a 12- year- old Burner 2. 0 set. The ball jumps off the face so effortlessly that I do n't always feel like I hit it solidly, but then it is flying exactly where it should be. They look good, and do tend towards a draw bias in the longer clubs.
