This is my first pair of proper running shoes and I love them so far! Used to run in some old Asics I got on clearance, but now that I ’ m getting into running more consistently I bought these. I have very flat feet and collapsed arches, and these were recommended for me because of their supportive centre path tech. The first 5k i ran in these I got nasty blisters on the insides of the my feet where my arch was being held up. If this is the case for you, don ’ t give up on these shoes yet. I wish I had broken them in more slowly but they are super comfortable now. Ran my first 10K in these shoes, something I never thought I ’ d be able to do after having some pretty nasty shin splints and knee pain from playing soccer my whole life. I totally recommend these to any fellow flat footed runner, especially if you ’ re just starting out. I ’ ve taken them on trails, pavement, track, and they feel fantastic.

The Nike Pegasus line is elite, and they have produced several of my favorite running shoes over the years. The Nike Pegasus 41s are near the top of my list. They are more breathable than previous models due to the mesh upper. The sole is supportive with adequate cushion. The toe box feels slightly wider which I like. They provide so much support, traction, and comfortability. I also have flat feet which cause my knees to hurt when wearing most shoes but not these! HIGHLY recommend!

I bought this shoe when it first came out and after trying it for a few weeks, I was worried it might sell out. It is the best sneaker I have ever had, no kidding. I do n't even have to put my orthotic in it after 3 months of wear and I can not believe it. My foot specialist recommended it to me and it was the best I have had.

The cushy craze is not normally my thing because I feel like I 'm falling off of the sides, but I love my Escalantes so much I thought I 'd give it a try. Glad I did! Cushioning is just the right amount of comfort and offers enough feeling of contact with the ground that I need to feel stable. Hope they stay in rotation!

These are great- highly cushioned but stable. I would use these on moderate trails but nothing too technical. My only complaint would be the padded tongue- it's hot! The shoe fits wider than typical Nikes.

Wow. These are awesome. I ran my last half marathon in the Pegasus trail, and I was less than impressed. I went to the Wildhorse but felt those needed more cushioning. When I started doing road races in the vaporfly, I was really hoping that Nike would do some sort of vaporfly hybrid shoe for trails and I feel like this is it! I took it right out of the box on a 7 mile adventure, with about 2k feet of vert in the first 2 miles and then a downhill 3 mile run on a fire road, before hitting 2 miles on pavement. They performed superb. They are ultralite( 6. 5oz in my size) and have a super wide toebox, which is unlike most Nike products. This means that you ’ re not gon na get any pressure on your toenails and they ’ re not hitting up against the front of the shoe. They ’ re super breathable and the carbon fiber plate definitely gives you a little propel forward. I ’ m so excited that Nike finally got a contract with Vibram because the soles are incredibly grippy. I don ’ t know how this shoe would do on super technical terrain, considering it is a race shoe, so it ’s meant to be fast and agile. But I don ’ t know if it would protect you from kicking a rock or hitting a rock with anything near your ankle. You ’ re definitely gon na feel that. I ’ m all in for taking this on my next race and super excited to see how I perform in this shoe. I love that there ’s no break in time with Nike ever and I ’ m really happy to see that they have stepped it up with their trail running shoes. We needed this!
