Traded up to Cascadia 18s- broke out a fresh pair of sixteens vs my new eighteens in a Brooks version of Alien vs Predator on the same trail over consecutive days. The toe cap design still basically the same as the sixteens- so will assume they are equally protective and hard wearing. These are great hybrid trail shoes. They do a lot of things pretty well for mild- moderate terrain and feel like a road shoe with minimal break in. I found the Caldera 7 to be too boxy and the Cascadia 18 made my third toe go numb. I have worn the Divide for training and in road- to- trail races in good weather conditions and in the rain. The only bummer was performance in red clay- but I was able to release the debris quickly enough with a quick scrape on a tree stump and keep moving. The lugs aren ’ t aggressive, but this IS a hybrid shoe and red clay cakes on everything. The Divide 5 was an improvement on the 4 with more added cushioning and I keep both models in my rotation. True to size as other Brooks( Glycerin 21, Ghost 15, Trace 3). I hope Brooks keeps this model as it fills a nice sweet spot for its versatility.

I have been a long time Hoka Stinson wearer for hiking but the soles do n't hold up well for Grand Canyon and slick rock hiking. I decided to try the Olympus 6's and have been very pleased. The Vibram soles are grippy and durable with the same plush cushioning that I enjoyed with the Hokas. The Olympus runs about 1/2 smaller than the Hokas which caused the hassle of sending back a pair. There was a break in period for the cushioned heel but felt much better after a week. I 'm wearing them for a rim to rim later this month and if they do well with that, I 'm hooked.

I 'm an Altra purist and have been for 3 or 4 years. I have road and trail styles, but with the Olympus 6, Altra just outdid themselves. I purchased these for trail running on small gravel/dirt trails around the beach trails in the hills of the SoCal coast. Nothing technical, just a good sturdy and grippy shoe. The structure and protection level in the Olympus 6 is perfect- the toe has protection and the edge and bite of the sole works great. I was also looking for cushion and I would say the cushion is cloud- like. The reduction in fatigue from long runs is really noticed. The shoe is sturdy, but the comfort is level 10. By far my favorite 10+ miler trail shoe I 've ever worn. I have to order another pair as these quickly became my dailies. I work in film production and I have lived in these since I purchased them. These shoes are awesome! I can walk and run for miles and no issues. I go about 10- 15 a day. They are perfectly cushioned and stable and I land right every time. I 've tried my actual size, which felt like my toe was right at the tip and it felt tighter around the ball of my foot. My foot lands hard. I feel it after many miles. I went 1/2 size up and there's tons of room in the toe box and my ball lands on all cushioning. It's like landing on clouds. Feel energized after miles, nothing hurts. This is my 3rd pair. I tried the white, it just gets dirty waaaay to quickly. I wanted the burst of color with the bright soles but white and mud just dont mix. So I got the black ones. I thought I 'd hate them but they make me feel all sporty!! They are the coolest black and carbon fiber gray with the white puffy soles. They are an AWESOME color combination. I hope brooks co tinues to make this color, becauae I 've been going theough a pair about every six months now with all the miles I do before the nobbies wear off the bottoms and they lose a little cushioning and I have to get new ones. These run GREAT in the winter months on regular pavement. They keep traction through the snow and even walking on ice. They 're amazing and the traction is GREAT. Wow. These are awesome. I ran my last half marathon in the Pegasus trail, and I was less than impressed. I went to the Wildhorse but felt those needed more cushioning. When I started doing road races in the vaporfly, I was really hoping that Nike would do some sort of vaporfly hybrid shoe for trails and I feel like this is it! I took it right out of the box on a 7 mile adventure, with about 2k feet of vert in the first 2 miles and then a downhill 3 mile run on a fire road, before hitting 2 miles on pavement. They performed superb. They are ultralite( 6. 5oz in my size) and have a super wide toebox, which is unlike most Nike products. This means that you ’ re not gon na get any pressure on your toenails and they ’ re not hitting up against the front of the shoe. They ’ re super breathable and the carbon fiber plate definitely gives you a little propel forward. I ’ m so excited that Nike finally got a contract with Vibram because the soles are incredibly grippy. I don ’ t know how this shoe would do on super technical terrain, considering it is a race shoe, so it ’s meant to be fast and agile. But I don ’ t know if it would protect you from kicking a rock or hitting a rock with anything near your ankle. You ’ re definitely gon na feel that. I ’ m all in for taking this on my next race and super excited to see how I perform in this shoe. I love that there ’s no break in time with Nike ever and I ’ m really happy to see that they have stepped it up with their trail running shoes. We needed this!

Finally, the absolute perfect pair of pants!! I am so excited! I have long been obsessed with the Ferrosi fabric, and joggers are my favorite style of pants. They are legitimately the most comfortable and functional pants I 've ever owned and I hope they make so many more colors. I fluctuate between the 16 and 16W sizes in the regular Ferrosi pants, and the XL in the joggers fit me perfectly. I could also probably wear the XXL but they 'd be significantly looser than the model in the pic and I like them a little form fitting. I would say to size down if you 're in between sizes unless you want them baggy. The drawstring waist is so comfy and non- restrictive, and the cuffs hit right at the ankle of my 5'10 '' frame. OK I have tried A LOT of different pants for outdoor climbing... these are hands down my# 1 favorites for warm weather. They are VERY stretchy and somehow quite durable- no tears and minimal piling after TONS of abrasive granite, limestone and tuff over the last year, and I 'm back ordering in another color. I love the high waist, the side pockets and that I can move so freely, including very high steps:) They are flattering, comfy and stay cool. I would size down if between sizes as the fit is loose. I would love to see some additional fun colors- teal, green etc.

Buy these, particularly if you 're a curvy outdoor gal! I bought two pairs a couple months ago and am now living in them, as the weather warms. Fabric is a little thin, but that's great for the warm, humid south. Biggest perk is that they work great on an active, but curvy figure. I ca n't do some of the other styles that are cut slim in the butt/thigh/hip area, but these look great and are super comfy.( For ref b/c it helps me, I 'm 5' 4 '', curvy, and wear medium Dynama products). I really hope MHW keeps making this style and adds colors, b/c it's now my fav of the Dynama line!

I 'm 5ft 2, 130lbs and wear an xs. The stretch is so comfy and the fit flatters my shape. The waistband is a little big but overall, I love them! Feels good to find a climbing pant that both fits my shape, is comfortable, and looks good!

Great joggers! Comfy, lightweight fabric with a relaxed fit. These are a bit shorter in length than my other joggers. I ’ m 5 ’ 6 and the hem falls a couple of inches above my ankles.

These pants are perfect for comfort and water resistance. I wear these for daily use and for aerobic activities. Very breathable and still wind resistant. Slightly larger pockets would be nice but still great pants for any use. These pants are perfect for anyone that needs lightweight, wind resistant, water resistant and incredibly comfortable pants. No real downside or complaints about this product.

with big cyclist quads and calves, technical pants can be a pain to fit( tall and skinny is n't how we all are built!) I grabbed these, and they instantly became the# 1 pant in my rotation for casual or active use. 10/10, would recommend.

I have a few pairs of these and they 're my go- to indoor climbing pants. Tons of flexibility and very comfortable. I use them hiking occasionally too. Only downside is that they quickly soak up water on rainy days and can make you cold pretty quickly in the mountains.

Durable to all the sharp things in the desert trying to stab you. Warm, yet breathable for the cool winter mornings and, best of all, hyper mobile. Easily high step, stem, heel hook, etc with no issues of the pants catching and limiting your movement. I bought another pair I liked them so much. The only thing I would like is a left rear pocket. There ’s only one on the right side.
