If air bubble was a backpack, this is it. Shoulder bags are a pain and get in the way when traveling. This bag made security and boarding a plane and cruise easier and faster. The compartments help keep everything organized and there was enough space for the necessities for a 1 and 3 year old( wipes, diapers, extra clothes). A little background- back in July, I started on my weight loss journey. Even though I was going to the gym 2- 3 times a day and working full time, I would often use a reusable grocery bag to hold my gear. In September, I hit my goal of 25 pounds and treated myself to a new bag. I needed a bag that: 1. Did n't look like a gym bag. I did n't want a duffle look since I had to take this with me into work as well 2. Was big enough to actually fit clothes. Some days I would have two pairs of shoes, a swimming suit, towel, hoodie and regular clothes in addition to the gym clothes I was already wearing. 3. Had different compartments to hide my valuables. I put my wallet in my bag rather than bring a purse, so I needed a way to keep them safe as well. I did a lot of research, and I found this bag. The price was right, but it was online only. I had some concerns if it would be as big as I needed. Well, it turns out that it surpassed my expectations! This has been the best bag I could have asked for. It can handle all my needs and then some. I use the front pocket for toiletries, middle pocket for my wallet and the big pocket for my clothes/water bottle. My keys and phone go in a side pocket, and I 've had no issues. The best part is how easy it is to carry. I 've found with duffles or other bags that I would throw it on a shoulder that would then fall off. With this, I have no issues. It's so easy to adjust and throw on( or into the car). AND it does n't look super obvious at work that I 'm working out. So while there are a lot of reviews for this bag from student athletes, it gets a thumbs up from an adult gym rat too!

` I am a 50 year old occasional hiker who has n't had a new pack since college. Just spent 3 days hiking in the Catskills with this pack on my back for 7- 8 hours a day and I love it. This is NOT a packable backpack. By that I mean it is too big to be considered that. This is actually good, very good in fact. The quality of materials and construction make it a bit big. Also returning it to it's `` pack '' would be difficult and eventually probably would damage the pack. It looks great, well thought out and constructed. My 9 year old son loves it. I got him the black bag with red letters and he was super excited that they match his Jordan 4 Breds. It also has a decent barrier between the compartments. He put a full bottle of water in the smaller compartment and it opened somehow and it got everywhere. But it barely let any water from the smaller to bigger part. He had his brand new school binder in there and it did n't get a drop on it. I emptied the bags placed it in front of a fan, and it was dry within an hour. Overall, I 'm pleased with the quality and price. My son loves it and his friends all want one.

I recently went on a camping trip to Big Pine, CA. I hiked up to First and Second Lake which was about an 11. 3 mile hike and roughly 6. 5 hours. The Tempest 9 was perfect! I was able to fit a 3L hydration pack, my snacks, a small first aid kit and other items for the hike. I was a little worried the Tempest 9 was going to be too small, but it did the job. When it came time to selecting a size, I measured at 17 '' '' so I could have gone with either the XS/S or the M/L, I went with the XS/S, however, wished I would have went with the M/L. The hipbelt ended up coming up to my bellybutton. Overall, I am really happy with this backpack!

My high schooler has all the storage space she needs for her computer and school supplies. The materials are very sturdy. This bag can take a beating. Thank you for making a backup that can hold up constant use and abuse.

It does n't get much better than this. Solid bag that has held up to a year on the road getting thrown around and taking a beating. The webbing strap that works with carry- on luggage is a genius move, along with the cloth that is used on the side of the two, YES TWO, exterior mesh pockets to help prevent wear down. I feel like I need to buy another one just to have in case anything were to happen to the one I currently have. Fantastically built backpack that I highly recommend. [ My husband uses this for college and for vacation. He absolutely loves it and it ’s holding up well. He was able to fit all of his electronics and must have for our kids in the bag while we were traveling to our cruise. The bag is the perfect size and can fit under an airplane seat.

[ I realized pretty quickly after having my son that traditional diaper bags just weren ’ t working for me. They usually had way too many pockets( I didn ’ t think this would be a bad thing but I couldn ’ t find ANY of the stuff I needed!) or too few. I switched to a regular backpack a few months in and never looked back. I was super excited when I got to try this Hurley Peak backpack because I do use backpacks regularly these days. I found it to be very spacious, almost too spacious for my needs on a typical day! It has a good amount of pockets, including a padded pocket for a laptop or tablet. It could fit a lot of diapers, wipes, burp cloths, bins, toys, changes of clothes, and bottles. Also could fit a few of my things. I liked that both my husband and I could easily carry it as I found it to be gender neutral despite it being classified as a men ’s backpack. It is lightweight and has good back support. I loved having a spot to put my water bottle on the outside. I was not gentle with it and it lasted well even when thrown on the floor or resized multiple times when switching between my husband and I. It would be a great bag for traveling for a weekend. You could fit several adult outfits in it! I was impressed with the quality and would recommend this for anyone needing an every day bag OR a diaper bag!

[ This backpack is extremely spacious and has so many storage areas. Honestly, the most storage I ’ ve ever seen for a backpack. I am a mom and this is better than any diaper bag I ’ ve ever had. There ’s space for two water bottles on the outside. There ’s a medium sized zipper pouch in front and on top of that is a small zipper pouch with a scratch proof lining. Next there is a large zipper pouch with two small pockets, which I am using to store extra clothes for my kids when we are out. Then another large zipper pouch that could be used if you ’ re in school for books and a zipper pouch that looks great for storing pencils. I am using it for my daughters clothes and diapers. The last large zipper pouch has a large storage area which I am using for all my personal things. It also has two small pockets and a pocket for my laptop. The straps on this are nice and padded. This is just an overall great design.

[ My husband loves this back pack! He is works on cars and builds houses. This is a great size for him to keep his stuff for when he goes out on a job. The water bottle holder is Percy size. 3 bag main zipper pockets to divide your stuff to keep it organized: like papers, his laptop for tuning cars, items for billing. The laptop pocket has a heavy duty padded pocket( for a 15 inch laptop). Which is perfect! Thick stickers on straps. Great price. I am happy and love everything Hurley!
