I have been looking for the perfect visor for several years after my favorite was discontinued. Most of the ones with wider brims were just too big and made me look silly. I have a very small face. And you take off in the wind like the flying nun. These visors are the perfect length for keeping the sun out of your eyes. I love the lightness; however, I ’ m not sure how they will fair in strong winds. I also wish they had more colors to choose from. I like the light gray, however, it didn ’ t allow me to tighten it enough; The light purple was easier to tighten to my needs. Another way visor would be even better is to have a terrycloth lining on the inside of the headband.

As a paddler and former kayak guide, I have a lot of paddle hats. Several models like this have a brim that goes down too far and makes it hard to see. This one is perfect. The brim is the perfect angle and it fits well. It has a little stretch and covers my entire face and neck without looking too silly. Huge fan. It looks good, it does everything you need and nothing you do n't need. I love the way this hat looks and fits. I have a pretty small head and it has quick easy adjustments. The adjustments are so good that I ride to the beach and back home on my motorcycle without this thing flying off. When I get to the beach and ready to fish I can loosen it in less than a second. It's sun gear so the most important thing is the protection. it's still spring here in Florida but it's already up to 80s on a regular and the day in the photograph was exactly that. The hat works great for blocking the sun and it also does a pretty good job keeping you cool. The brim is stiff enough to stay out flat for coverage but soft enough to still look good. This has been my go- to hat for years. I 've worn it so much that the color has faded. I really like how the skirt can be unbuttoned from the brim and let hang- it provides an additional ventilation option. I also like the draw cord- again it allows ventilation options. I bought the Oat Sunset Hat first, to wear while gardening and walking the dog. I live in NE FL and the sun can be brutal at times. Our duaghter and her husband took us on an* day Caribbean cruise right after Thanksgiving and I bought a 2nd Sunset hat, this time in Cinnamon, so she would have a good sun hat too. She preferred the lighter colored hat so I let her keep that one and I kept the cinnamon one. These hats can be shaped how ever you prefer them, but I like the sides rolled up like a `` western hat '' so I have good peripheral vision, especially when walking our pup. They traveled well strapped to a back pack and if they got a bit misshapen during transport they were easy to return to however you might prefer them. Very versatile and can be used in any number of scenarios. Thanks for a great product!

Ventilation is worlds better, as it should, and it's a great option for hot, steamy days. Fit was good but a little small. I comfortably wear a Medium in the Charter and Charter Breeze hats. A medium with then EasyBreezer is a wee bit tight but wearable. If you 're on the fence, get the large and use the sizer inside the brim to tighten things up. My only two complaints about the EasyBreezer is that it needs a removeable chin strap and it needs to be offered in a lighter color.
