It is current 1 F with an- 18 F windchill. I needed to clear a couple of inches of snow from a driveway. These gloves kept my hands and FINGERS warm the 45 minutes I was outside. That ’s remarkable because my fingers always get painfully cold in such temps. The smart design of keeping the index finger free while wrapping the other 3 fingers in a mitten like pocket is brilliant! The gloves also feature a zipper pocket on the back of each hand, a wristband so the gloves can dangle if you need to take them off to pull something out of a pocket, take a photo, etc. Of course, they also feature a clip to keep them together when storing them. I was so impressed with them that I went out and got my partner a pair today as well. The price point is reasonable too- especially for a Gortex product.

With these mittens I skied all day at 10 degrees and two breaks and kept my hands warm. I used medium and low settings most of the time and still had half the battery left at the end of the day. They especially shined when it came to winter sports because any contact with the snow would previously give me wet, cold hands. There is no such thing with these with the combination of GoreTex and with the cuffs going up so high on my arm and being adjustable, wet hands and arms are a thing of the past. There are a number of handy features as well with finger holds on the outside of ring fingers make the gloves easy to remove even while gloved. The retention cuffs do their job well. I would recommend these for someone looking for a nice pair of gloves that wants to keep their hands warm and dry. They outperform everything else at their price point.

Used these gloves for 1 day between 14 and 28 deg F with windgusts and snow machines on making icy and windy conditions for a much lower feels like temp. First off, the GoreTex in these gloves holds up to its reputation, the ice/snow from the snow machines stuck to everything and ev eventually would melt but my gloves on the inside didnt feel wet at all even once. Wore these without the liner and they are comfortable, but not that warm. My hands were cold but not super uncomfortably cold by lunch without the liner in. Put the liner in after going back out and it made a world of difference. My hands stayed warm the rest of the day even after the sun went down and temperature dropped significantly. After a full day of use on the slopes carrying ski poles most of the time, there is no sign of any use on these gloves and i am hopeful they keep holding up for me. They were fairly expensive at full price, but seem to be worth it so far.

The most extreme weather I used them in was snowshoeing in- 25- 28 °F with a good 10- 15 mph wind. The mittens were so warm that at times I had to remove them so my hands could cool off. I have been using the OR Mount Baker mitts for the past decade and decided to get these for the really cold days. My hands are always cold but these could be too warm for many days. They are similar to the Mount Baker mitts but the shell is insulated allowing a thinner liner on warmer days without freezing. You do lose a bit of dexterity but these are crazy warm. OR gloves tend to run a bit small and these are no exception.

The Patrol gloves feel like a toned down version of the Guide gloves that I 've used extensively. The biggest difference is the shorter gauntlet and the insulation only covering the palm, where the insulated inner runs down over the wrist into the gauntlet on the Guides. Because of those differences the mobility is a bit better with the Patrol, they 're a less bulky/more packable and are n't quite as warm as the Guides.

Absolutely love these gloves for mahy reasons. Firstly, the glove has an amazing fit. While it is easy to get on with the straps to help it is a snug fit that allows me to manouever very well with them. Additionally, the gloves are not so big and padded that I ca n't do much with my hands, however, they still keep my hands warm. My only complaint would be that it is really difficult to use my phone despite the fingertip specifically meant for using the phone. Would highly recommend these gloves.

These gloves are a pair of the best gloves I 've worn, and I 've gone through a lot of gloves over the years. What stood out to me are two things; warmth and dryness. While hiking or training with search and rescue( volunteer) I often have my gloves on and off for tasks as well as taking pictures during hikes, what strikes me with these is that they feel dry and warm every time I put them back on after the task or picture!

I have the black pair and have used them twice. I 'm a truck driver that pulls tankers and I have to unload the tanker myself so that means pulling hoses and standing outside with the truck trailer for 2 to 4 hours. So far the coldest it's been but I 've unloaded it's about 13 ° and they have done really well so far. The thumb and index finger probably get the warmest, but overall the whole hand is pretty warm. It's very important. I think to turn them on in the truck first and let him get warm then go outside with them and they maintain very well. So far as winter comes it will get colder especially in the northern Nevada and we will see how that goes.

[ For starters, Hestra ’s size selection allows for a more precise fit. Any 3 finger model is a slight compromise over a mitt for warmth, but you can always bring your index finger in as needed. They are reasonably warm, though not expedition gloves, and I expect to throw in warmers for temps in the low single digits( F), or below. The wrist/cuff adjustments function well. The soft leather makes for a very supple feel and were fairly nimble when tinkering with gear. The wrist strap/handcuffs were overkill for me and swapped with a traditional straps. Have n't owned long enough to attest to the durablity.

[ The cold snap gloves are slightly snug but break in to ultimately fit. They are much warmer than my economy ski gloves for walking my Labrador retriever. The gauntlet style is a huge plus to keep snow, rain and cold drafts out. I highly recommend these gloves and would purchase again.

Very warm on cold windy days. Not meant for heavy industrial work( materials/stitch will not withstand harsh wear/abrasion/cuts) but very good for outdoor shoveling and trail walking for hours during winters. Size up, more comfortable and breathable( avoid sweating) during extreme cold.

I have arthritic hands that have gotten very sensitive to the cold. These heated liners work great. I use them inside a pair of elk skin gloves for working with firewood.

Perfectly as advertised. Used them under work gloves in 10°F working outside, they kept my hands nice and warm the whole time, and they got warm fast. And for you folks that ca n't stay off their phones, yes the index works with touchscreen.

These glove liners are the best. Keep my hands warm while clearing snow from my driveway. MN winters are cold and snowy. I use the medium setting with these liners inside my insulated winter gloves. No more cold fingers. The liners seam to run on the smaller side. If you are on the upper end of the size chart, go for the next size larger.

Glove liners worked great on there own no more cold fingers. If you go below zero may need gloves over them. I wore them in 30 degree weather walking for about an hour. I had them on medium. When I got home after an hour walking the battery was half gone. I have n't used them inside another glove.
