The Nouveau Green looks a little more teal in the photos, more dark green in real life. I wish the piping were n't chartreuse. But it's sturdy, amazing that it can fit in that small pocket, though I doubt I can get it all back in there. Expensive for what it does, but all recycled and Patagonia is a conscientious company. I got this duffel this spring, I needed a new dry bag. So far it's rafted on the Bruneau, Selway and Salmon with me. Everything in the bag has stayed dry but I also have not flipped. I love how easy it is to get into and then close. I also appreciate the two handles on the ends of the bag and the side webbing that looks good but gives me another attachment point. The backpack straps on the bag are super comfortable and let me carry my bag with ease over slippery rocks. In a future edition I think it would be nice if there was a small divider or separate compartment where damp things like dirty shoes could go. Right now a trash bag is working.

Got for the wife to take to the beach with kids when I am unavailable to be the boat swabbie. She said it was great and loves the handles to easily carry. Holds ice well. Loves the color. Easy to clean. Only downside is that I thought it was made in the USA like the hard coolers but it is not. One downside I see is the latches could be a problem in the future. Hopefully they make replacements for them.

This is a great pack for both car and airline travel. I pack smart with packing compressors packing cubes but I wouldn ’ t say I pack light and I had plenty of space. The waist belt allows me to comfortably carry this pack through the airport. The straps stow easily and it fits in the overhead bin.

The straps can be hidden with a zippable cover that is stowed away in a pocket at the bottom of the pack as well. My favorite part of this bag is that the hip belt is durable and comfortable so it makes carrying it easy.

[ Such a fantastic design! I absolutely love the zipper compartment for the straps and the compression straps inside. We used compression cubes and stuff sacks to maximize space, and we very satisfied with the 40L size for 2 weeks of `` lightweight '' travel.

I managed to pack 3 long pants, 9 tops all with long sleeves 4 pairs of compression socks, 1 set of pj's, 1 pair of sandals plus toiletries, and some other odds and ends for my 5 week treck through Europe. For reference I am 5' 6, 120 pound, 70 year old and the pack was very comfortable.
