I took these on my rafting trip down the GRAND CANYON. I brought them for the side hikes from the river. Which are usually washes with some water crossings. These shoes did so well! They have incredible traction for climbing over big rocks in dry washes, or on slick ledges. The traction is incredible! They were comfortable right off the go and my custom orthotics fit in then since they have a removable foot bed. I loved these boots on the trip! Completely waterproof over the foot but if water gets up to the mid part where the laces are water does come in. I am going to look for a goretex hiking gater for that.

I wanted to share my positive experience with these hiking boots. I recently wore them on a Boy Scout summer camp trip to Camp Daniel Boone in North Carolina, and I was particularly impressed with their waterproof capabilities. I accidentally slipped into a shallow part of the river, and my feet remained completely dry. These boots were comfortable right out of the box, requiring minimal, if any, break- in time. I walked nearly 20 miles over the week, and my feet felt great throughout. I purchased them on sale, likely due to the color, which does tend to show dirt more easily. However, with a soft toothbrush and soap, they cleaned up almost as good as new. I was also surprised by the durability of the tread, as it showed almost no wear, despite other reviews indicating significant wear. Overall, I highly recommend these hiking boots.

I purchased these because I was looking for a comfy, still warm, but light boot to travel to South Africa with. I went in June so it ’s their approaching winter. As soon as I opened the box I loved the design and especially the air pockets. The bottom shoe design has pretty good grip. On various surfaces. Including some pretty epic rocks and boulders on Table Top Mountain. They have a wide front design to mimic your natural toe spacing, so there not bunched up. Which made for a person like me with Flinestone flat feet even more able to walk for hours and climb. Honestly it felt more like a barefoot sneaker which was perfect for me. I did not test the shoes on a rigid and rough climbing ability, but mediocre climbing they did great. Also had no issue with water getting inside, except the top part due to me not having them laced to the top. Shoe was easy to clean as well. Used a towel to wipe off. I also loved the fact I didn ’ t need to break them in by wearing them for a few days on and off before the trip. Like I said right out the box adventure ready!. Overall, I ’ m extremely happy with my purchase.

This is my first pair of suede/roughout type boots and my second pair of Durangos and WOW am I in love with these!! My absolute favorite pair right now for sure. All of my shoes are a size 8. 5, but my first pair of Durangos I bought an 8 which ended up being too big and gave me blisters, so I decided to try a 7. 5 for this pair and they fit SO perfectly! They were comfortable from the moment I put them on and have yet to give me a blister or sore foot. I guide trail rides in the summer here in Montana, so I put these bad boys to work right away, and man did they hold up! I spent 12+ hours in them some days and we do a ton of walking between rides, but my feet were never sore or uncomfortable in these. They are fantastic to ride in as well and I really enjoy the thumb holes to help pull them on, as my arches can make that difficult in certain styles. I 'll be curious to see how long they last and how the suede/roughout holds up, but I have high hopes! I highly recommend these boots but be sure to double check what size you need before ordering.

I 've had these Leikis for a month now and still love them. I wanted something for urban dog walks that would keep my feet dry in rain and puddles but with enough traction to handle light trails. Perfect for shoulder- season weather when it's wet but not yet cold enough for heavier boots. They 're lightweight and cushy. At the store, I compared these to the Versacore. The Leiki is more snug around the heel and arch, but the toe box is still roomy. The Leiki toe box also has more structure and kept its shape, while the Versacore would crease and press against the top of my toes with each step which I found annoying. [ Love this boot! Keeps my feet dry and warm. I wear a 9. 5; bought a 10 to give room for cushy socks and the fit is snug, but comfortable. I am not a fan of high hiking boots, so this shoe is a perfect height. I can not speak to longevity as I have only worn them once, but I am trusting the Danner brand for that.

Sturdy, tall boot for the pasture and stables. Lots of muck out there. The size 8 fit well. Nice fit in the heel especially. I usually wear a 7 1/2 but these are perfect for warmer socks when the winter wind blows. I highly recommend these boots.

I have been wearing Bogs for years. I first started wearing them when I needed something to wear to the dog beach that was waterproof and would also keep my feet warm in the cold weather. I wear them as my winter boots because they are roomy enough to wear big wool socks in. When my feet are in tight boots they get cold. Bogs offers waterproof and warmth. And I think they are super cute!!

I 've only had these for a month or so, but I wear them every day for chicken duty. They 're tough, warm and dry! I will say that they run smaller than most brands, but once I figured out my size all was well! I 'm normally a 9. 5- 10, and these in a 10 fit well, but I probably would have to wrestle with getting them on and off if I were to wear thick wool socks.
