Design is a mix of athletic leisure and street- wear. Seems very versatile to wear in many different occasions. The fabric seems strong, durable and comfortable. I am able to move easily and comfortably throughout the day. I like the way it sits on my waist but still has room so it ’s not restrictive of my movement. The waist is also comfortable and stretchy. Some things I ’ d consider changing would be changing the string around the waste to something more stable and possibly adding some type of dongle at the end of the string for aesthetic effect. I ’ d also would ’ ve liked zipper pockets to help contain my items better when working out.

Some reviews mentioned sizing down, and since my other Prana Halle shorts in size 8 fit me a little snug now, I stuck with ordering a size 8 and am very happy I did. They are a comfortable fit and relax a tad as you wear them. You do n't feel restricted in them at all. They are perfect for hiking or to wear around all day.

I bought these before leaving to travel for 8 months. These shorts( and a pair of Prana pants) are my favorite bottoms to wear and I have worn them in 12 countries( and counting), so they have had a LOT of wear. They are great for hiking, sight- seeing, and everyday use. I was worried about ordering them online without having the chance to try them on. However, their fit is great. I was also disappointed that when I ordered them the only color in my size was Earthtone. However, I am actually happy with the color and think it looks better in person. I have hand washed them, line dried, machine washed, and machine dried. They dry quickly, have a bit of stretch( which is great for being active), and did n't show the massive amounts of sweat in hot, humid climates. Honestly, these shorts have paid for themselves. I have also received many compliments about this pair of shorts.

I love TNF wander shorts. A few summers ago they came out with two pocket version which were awesome. These are perfect for hiking, working out, and kayaking( super quick dry) or any outdoor pursuits. These are linerless which I prefer and feel comfortable. [ These are my favorite shorts! The sizing does run small, so size down one size, but the sizing has been consistent year after year. The leg openings are wide enough to make the shorts comfortable and the length is flattering without showing your cheeks. I ’ m glad that I ’ ve purchased some of the great colors throughout the years that are no longer offered( pink, orange, macaw blue, collegiate navy, green, and nocturnal). Columbia should always offer black, grey, and navy as staple colors while introducing trending colors each year.

I bought a pair of these shorts at a Columbia outlet and LOVE them SO MUCH. I ’ m 5 ’ 4 ”, 105 lbs, and wear XS. As other reviewers have said, the waistband is a little looser than I typically prefer( and definitely looser than my XS Columbia skorts), but these still fit well, feel great,& look fantastic! It is SUCH a flattering fit, length,& design. I will absolutely purchase more pairs! I ’ m bummed the website is out of XS in some colors. Yes, it would be great if Columbia will take our feedback and make the waistband tighter in future iterations of this item, but you can purchase these with confidence as they are.
