I sincerely hope that Vasque does n't discontinue the Breeze LT GTX. I 've had a pair of clunkier Vasque's and a pair of Merrell's and these outperform both hands down. I 've worn these in the winter with a thicker pair of socks and in the summer with a thinner pair of socks over the last year of having them and they hold up great in both( although not designed as a winter/snow boot). Hiking summers in Boise desert heat is hard, and these have not once given me a blister, been uncomfortable, or made me question my footing. Everything about them is phenomenal! I recommend them to all of my friends and will continue to buy more pairs. Now I just want more color options please!:)

[ I 've only done about 20 miles in these boots so far, but am VERY happy with them! I read reviews all over the place and decided to follow the advice of ordering a half size up, I will always have to wear a thick sock with them but feel it was still the right way to go. After reading the reviews I was a little concerned about the `` strange arch support '' mentioned by many. I was worried it was going to be similar to Chacos, which I cant wear because of the large arch support, however it's not like that at all and gives more support under your heal( not sure how to best explain this(:) and I find it very comfortable. These seemed pretty stiff at first but after one 5 mile hike they loosened up and feel very similar to a tennis shoe. I do have to mention that the heal box is oddly large, this does n't seem to be an issue for me, but thought I would mention it incase it would be helpful to someone else. All in all I would say if your on the fence about these you should just go for it!

[ I was on a quest to find a waterproof, cushioned hiking shoe for Torres del Paine “ O ” backpacking trek The final pairs were from Columbia and Hoka Speedgoat. The Peakfreak was my final choice as I found that the cushioning level matched that of Hoka, without the bulk. I completed the trek and was compelled to write this review as the Peakfreak surpassed my expectations. The trek was around 70 miles with unforgiving terrain. This shoe softened the impact on my low back and foot pads, yet was sturdy for the uneven trail. We hiked through snow, rivers, mud and my feet remained dry. The soles gripped every rock and slippery root. My Peakfreaks kept me upright while others were slipping and losing traction. Oh, and no blisters and no break- in necessary. The only recommendation is to order 1/2 size up. I ’ m a true 9 1/2 and my toes were a bit crammed. I bought a size 10 and it fit perfectly.

[ I had a pair of Newton Ridge 2 last year that held up very well, except for the tread wearing down to almost nothing, and water would trickle in after they had aged a few months. Moving into the Newton Wander has felt like a big step up. Cosmetically they look much nicer, and have a sleek look. They clean up very nicely too. I work in a lot of slick, and icy terrain so my biggest selling point is traction and durability. I have slipped around here and there wearing these, so that's why I have to dock one star. When hiking, working, climbing traction is absolutely key, and these unfortunately could be better in that regard. That aside they keep my feet dry, warm, and comfortable without making my feet sweat, and even after a long day at work my feet are n't aching at the end of it. I 've had these Leikis for a month now and still love them. I wanted something for urban dog walks that would keep my feet dry in rain and puddles but with enough traction to handle light trails. Perfect for shoulder- season weather when it's wet but not yet cold enough for heavier boots. They 're lightweight and cushy. At the store, I compared these to the Versacore. The Leiki is more snug around the heel and arch, but the toe box is still roomy. The Leiki toe box also has more structure and kept its shape, while the Versacore would crease and press against the top of my toes with each step which I found annoying. I liked the lower heel height of the Versacore, but ended up going with the cushier Leiki which seemed to also have more structure for ankle stability.

I bought these to walk my dog around the neighborhood. While I would not wear them for a challenging hike, they are perfect for walking very hilly terrain. Nice looking, too!!!

Comfortable out box; went with a size larger based in reviews, might stay with normal size next time. Toe box is wider which is what I was looking for. I walk on greenway paths so asphalt. Have been looking for a Merrell that has tread more for that than trails as I have found trail tread wears out faster. Overall love it!

[ I love that these a versatile enough that I can wear them as an every day shoe and I can take them out on a hike as well! Love the color, love the style. The body of the shoe is sleek so it doesn ’ t feel clunky. The traction is perfectly sticky enough that I don ’ t feel nervous about slipping and falling, especially when climbing little boulders when I ’ m on a hike. 10/10!!

[ These hiking shoes are great! I feel they were true to size and very comfortable. I wore them hiking through the local forest preserve with my dogs where there are all types of terrain, and these held up well. They were even easy to clean after getting a bit muddy, too. I especially love the athletic look of the shoe and think they would look cute off the trail as well!

[ Hiked for a little over a mile in these and they were extremely comfortable. They kept my feet warm in the winter while still feeling very breathable. I also felt there was very good traction and did n't have to worry about slipping, even in less than desirable weather conditions.

[ Amazing shoes! While it ’s not entirely ideal hiking weather where I live, I can still attest to the comfort and breathability of these shoes. I wear them as daily shoes and they have excellent traction in all the wet and slick spots that are pretty common this time of year. They ’ re very breathable shoes, so much so that my feet have been getting a little cold when wearing them outside in the frigid temps here in the midwest. That being said, the memory foam in insoles of the shoes make these super comfortable on my feet when I ’ m going for walks and little treks around the neighborhood. I can ’ t wait to wear these out on my next hiking adventure to really test out their comfort and durability. For now though, I love these shoes!

Good for these late fall days love the thicker sole I do change the insole to a more cushioned insole, and space to add a foot warming pad without discomfort. And they do look good! Fits to size, and I always order them in line

Bought these for a trip to the redwoods national forest. These were super comfortable and really didn ’ t need breaking in as I was only able to wear them once for a 2 mile walk prior to our trip and never had any problems! Definitely size down a half size.

These shoes are so comfortable! Cushioning without being sloppy, at least for me. As I do n't hike much these days, these are great for easy walks. I got a 10. 5 which fits me well, although I sometimes need an 11 in Merrell walking shoes. It does n't feel too big for me. It's my go anywhere shoe these days.
