Definitely oversized, but as a tall woman I went with my normal size to get the sleeve length I desired, otherwise you could probably size down one.( im 6 ’ 0 ” and the large was perfect for me.) I am pale, pastey, and burn extremely easily. A sun hoodie is a must for my outdoor adventures to protect myself from turning lobster red. These are my absolute favorite. The hood is deep enough to throw up over a baseball cap and protect my face, it has thumbholes to protect my hands, and its cute. If I 'm going to stink after a 4 day backpacking trip and stuff my face like a trash panda, at least I can look semi decent.

I have never worn a more perfect piece of clothing. I never imagined wearing long sleeves in hot weather while hiking. Hypothyroidism causes me to sweat profusely and embarrassement. After researching sun hoodies, I found the Crater Lake hoody. It was on sale, I bought it, wore it while hiking, it changed my experience... so I ordered two more!! Backpacked in Kentucky recently and the hoodies were a win for me. The material is thin and light, breathable. Feels great against my skin, wicks away the moisture so felt like I was n't even sweating. Sweat splotches were not noticeable at all. Will definitley explore other products.
