This is a nice piece of clothing. It fits well and is soft, and it's comfortable. I love that the sleeves have thumb holes and cover most of my hands. My only small giggle is I wish there was some way to secure the hood. In my size it's a bit over large and I find it sliding off my head backwards quite often. Even considering that it's still a five star purchase!

[ I have a couple of these hoodies and I love them for outdoor activity. The material is light enough to wear when it's hot, but just wind- blocking enough to be good for a slight chill. The sun protection is top notch with the thumb- loop sleeves and hood, and the pockets are perfect for whatever small items I need to take on the trail/run. The one downside is that due to the pockets these can be a bit harder to wear under something else.

It's comfortable and feels far more breathable and quality than alternative sun hoodies on the market( REI Sahara sun hoody) Also, the protection I get with it from the sun is amazing. I love in Colorado so this is perfect for year round use because it's lightweight, will keep you dry in a light rain, is just warm enough, and I love the thumb holes. Only downside is they skimp on the stitching at the cuffs and I 've had to reattach the liner at both ends of the sleeve. Sold otherwise.

This barely weighs anything and I find it surprisingly durable for what it is. It's not tough by any mean, but I was worried it would deteriorate after a few uses. I have two minor complaints: 1. is that it's quite expensive for how simple it is. 2. The t- shirt version fit differently than this version, it was quite tight around the chest, I was expecting the same fit. The t- shirt version is great for working out in the gym on a hot day where they still insist you wear a shirt.

I 've had over a dozen different sun hoodies since they became popular. For Me, this is the best one overall by a wide margin. While some may feel more 'woven', and others more 'plasticy', this one seems to be the best of both worlds providing comfort and protection. It is very soft to the skin, and the material sort of 'hangs' on you without feeling 'clingy'. It has plenty of stretch, but does n't feel like a set of drapes. So far the shirt seems to be retaining it's shape /size perfectly. Interesting enough, I wore it under a hoodie on a cool damp morning... casting really hard, I got too hot for the hoodie, but was reluctant to take it off. Finally I did due to sweating and was very surprised at how well this shirt regulated my body heat. The sweat evaporated quickly, and the shirt provided a nice light layer of protection from the cool damp air and light south wind. Once the sun came out the shirt really shined. Sleeves are plenty long, and the wrist/ hand coverings are a nice touch in case you forgot sun gloves. The hood is fitted nicely, proving excellent coverage while not being obtrusive. I chose the 'Neptune' color and I like that it is understated and does n't scream 'SUNSHIRT!!! If I had to nit- pick one thing, the closure button of the hoodie is a little challenging to snap closed with old worn- out fingers due the material being so soft and light.. but that's really minor. I highly recommend this shirt if You are on the fence, You wo n't be disappointed. I do n't usually do reviews much, but his one was definitely worth a follow up. Good job Simms

The thumb loops are very helpful when layering with additional insulating layers and the zipper helps dump heat when you need to.
