I have a little extra length in the arms, which I love because it is a rarity. It's warm and comfy. Soft fleece, lots of zippers and pockets. Got the gray, the fleece is different from my other Denali's. The fleece is maybe softer than the usual Denali fleece. The fleece does shed, which I guess happens with the softer fleece. It is way more cropped than the older Denali as well. The name should say `` Cropped ''. I 'm considering sizing up to see if it will make any difference, but that means the sleeves will be much wider. I 'm not sure why the under arms are soooo huge maybe to decrease sweating hence the zippers under the arms. They should have two options for the Denali, one with a regular length and one cropped for women. This one is functional, but will rise up. I buy a new Denali every few years, this one is very different. The prices keep going up and the jackets and sweaters keep getting shorter.

I tend to bring a jacket with me where ever I go so I love that it is packable. Other packable jackets I 've tried can feel cheap or flimsy, but what I like most about this jacket is that there is no compromise quality of the material- it still feels great when I wear it. Thoughtful touches with the zipper design to keep rain out, the bungie cords at the waist for a more secure fit, and vented back to help with breathability really bring functionality to this piece. If there was one thing I would change about this jacket is the cut; the length is a little too cropped and the sleeves a bit baggy for me personally, but I know that's the style and it can work great for others.

Is it thin? Yes, as advertised. Is it light? Yes, 3. 7oz... as listed in the specs. Is it waterproof? No, it is water- resistant. It is by far the best running jacket I own. For cold weather( I ran in 19F this weekend) just layer with a merino top and you 'll be toasty warm... it really retains your body heat. And the coolest thing it folds up into it's own pocket the size of a large taco. If you can get it on sale... go for it.

Great fill power, feels great on the skin, obviously great warranty. Love the new tall collar. The new updates make the new down sweater feel like a huge upgrade from the original( although my old model from the early 2000's is still going strong too)

The Abisko fleece is very light and great as a base layer. I regularly wear this around the house on chilly days and as a base layer in the cold. The fit is great. I typically hover between a medium and a small. I went with the medium. It fits a little loose for me which I do not mind.
