I ordered my usual size M and I love the way it fits- it's a bit oversized/boxy throughout the body but in a good way. First impressions is that the number of pockets and their positioning is exactly the type of thing you did n't know you needed until you have it. Feels light and offers good maneuverability. This jacket has ended all desire to purchase anything else. Great quality and build. It ’s kept me warm and dry on chilly pow days and the vents keep me cool on the sunnier days. The oversized hood goes over my helmet and keeps me very cozy. Easily the best jacket I ’ ve invested in. I returned a more expensive jacket from a competitor because it was a snug, athletic fit and didn ’ t leave enough room for layering. Purchased for skiing in the northeast, so needed warmth and flexibility. I believe I found my next favorite jacket. The 3- in- 1 is nice and sized well at XL for a guy who can fit into a L but finds that too tight in the shoulders( after all, you have to keep your arms forward with poles). Great wind protection and comfortable feel, which means room for layering up on cold ski days(< 10 dF). I have not separated the liner yet, so do not have any input on the pieces individually. The Gore- Tex shell is really nice and the line coat is warm in the set. I would recommend it as a warm and relaxed coat for the piste.

I ended up going with my normal size of XS after trying the XS and S. I 'm 5' 1 '' and 109 lbs for reference. The size small fit more oversized but the arm sleeve were slightly too long. If you 're between sizes, I would size up. My main concern was how cropped it might be and both jackets ended up hitting my waist at about the same spot so I went with the smaller size for the better arm and shoulder fit.

I LOVE this jacket. I do wish the hip area was more boxy and had a synch cord. It can be a bit tight on the hips even tough I sized up. I really like that the powder skirt is removable to get rib of the added bulk. I wish there was an outer chest pocket. The wrist cuffs are a bit bulky. Everything about the jacket is rugged and high quality. The stitching and was perfect and the large tooth YKK zippers were smooth with no snags. Fit is good but on the slimmer side( in a good way). You can layer a sweatshirt and puff vest but that ’s about it. If you need more, size up. Unfortunately I had to return the jacket due to the antler color being very pink. No other colors were available in my size so I had to go with the thermograph jacket, which is also very good.

Hood works well with a helmet, but hood could be a bit bigger. The hand- warmer inner cuffs are good, but can wick up water during heavy rain. I love that various features in the jacket( such as the `` Glove Link '' are in a contrasting colour and labelled so that you do n't have to guess their uses. I 'm 5' 2 100lbs and usually wear an XS and this jacket fits me well with extra room for layering. I love the Turtle Dove color as it is a creamy/vanilla shade that pairs well with any snow pant color. Amazing features- snow skirt, thumb cut outs, water proof and wind proof, zippers up to my chin, well insulated, and, multiple pockets. This jacket is one of the best quality ski jackets on the market now. I would say it's comparable to Helly Hansen's Alphelia jacket in terms of fit and features but for a lower price point. It even has a similar fit to the Arc'teryx jackets if you cinch the waistline in and tuck it. You can get away with wearing no layers underneath this jacket in 30F weather. I 've already gotten many compliments and will be wearing this to back to back ski trips in Vermont and Colorado! I agree with other reviews that a snow helmet can not fit underneath the hood, but that is NOT a con for me as wearing a hood while skiing usually obstructs my view anyway.
