I will say, like most athletic shoes when then get wet, they do retain a hefty smell after a rain game. I did not try washing them but would be interested if that would help the smell. When Nike released the Luna's my daughter switched from the Mercurial. And she has been very happy with them. Upon receiving them I immediately noticed how sturdy a cleat they were. Some are too light weight and flimsy at the base where the shoe meets the cleat. These are not like that. Sturdy throughout, yet very comfortable. Great support throughout too, despite being a low top. The design and color on the cleat are fantastic as well. The Purple Agate color really pops, yet it ’s not too flashy. The ribbing on the toe of the shoe will help with ball control as well as toe dexterity and easy, fluid movements. The cleats on the bottom seem very firm. I don ’ t see them breaking down quickly. They should last for many seasons. The fit of the shoe is a little tight still after breaking them in quite a bit. I ’ d say size up a half size if you ’ re thinking of getting them. What I ’ m enjoying most about the shoe is the sturdiness. I feel like this will be a good cleat for quite a few seasons. I ’ d say the one drawback is that they ’ re a little tight. Like I mentioned earlier. I ’ d buy one half size up next time. I hope these continue to break in and loosen up.
