I had an old pair of UA compression leggings that I have been looking to all the running companies to try to find something comparable in fit, feel, pocket... and have not been able to. The only issue with that old pair is that they would fall down until I started sweating, then they would stay in place. Also, they are very lightweight and I needed something warmer. So I came back to UA to see what else they have to offer and found the Vanish Cold Weather leggings, they looked like the same fit as my old leggings, I decided to give them a try. Well what I thought could n't get better is so much better! They do n't fall down AT ALL, they have added warm panels where needed, and they have TWO pockets instead of the one so I can alternate what leg my phone is on. These babies move with me like I never thought possible- I usually have a tough time with the shape of leggings... too tight in the wrong places, too loose in other wrong places, but these hug just right with no extra material bunching and no digging. I think the cutout is cute but my work out tops all cover it up so that part of the pant is n't as important to me. Someone who wears cropped work out tops might appreciate that detailing more. The only other thing I would note is these leggings run long. I 'm 5' 8 and they fit very well with my sneakers on but if I were shorter I probably would find them to be too long. I ordered these in several colors because they are comfortable and work well at the gym. They are on the thinner side though and in terms of sizing, I would say buy whatever your regular size is. I normally wear a XL but I ordered the XXL because I did not want them to cling to my skin( I 'm 65+) and show every lump and bump. But, I really did not have to do this and could have easily just worn my regular size. Again, they are thin and do not hold you in so if there is something that you do n't want to show, I would say get them in the darker colors or you could size up.
