I did n't know they made a grey one!! Sweet I 'll be buying one soon. I love this product. I wear a petzl strato helmet for tree work, and a Stihl Advance for ground work. The strato is a buckled bike style safety helmet and Stihl is a hard hat type helmet. The `` ninja' mask as I call works with both helmets. I also wear it under my baseball hats. This is my favorite winter work accessory. It makes those freezing cold mornings not suck so much. One of the best features is that it quickly dries. I throw mine on my dash and after a ten minute trip to a different job site it's dry and ready to wear again.

I purchased the grey Latitude hat in March 2019. It has traveled in my suitcase to multiple places over the years, and washing machine cycles, and it still has its shape. Since I started having children in 2019 it gets worn when I am outside no matter what. Most sun hats I have purchased fade from the constant sun exposure, but not the grey one. The brim has lost a lot of its firmness over the years, but it still retains its shape and does not sag or has gotten wrinkly. Recently I purchased the BlueStone color of this hat and it ’s beautiful. My grey one is my main garden hat now the blue one has replaced my daily use.

I got this hat because the brim is slightly smaller than my full on sun hat, so it ’s not as awkward to wear in the car or indoors, but still provides a good amount of sun protection. I got the goldenrod color, and it ’s a little darker in person, but still a cool color. It does seem to run a little small compared to my other hats of the same size, so if you ’ re in between sizes, probably best to size up. Oh, and the sunglasses holder is awesome! I was a bit skeptical but then decided to pull the trigger. Glad I did, very comfortable, innovative easy size adjustability, cool sunglass holder. What more could I ask for. Oh yes, it's light weight and did I say comfortable! I know have this in my travel kit for hiking and have been using it on the golf course. If I had one recommendation it would be some custom patches offered for the front.

Since it doesn ’ t fold up, I put this terrific sun hat at the bottom of my suitcase, underneath the rest of my clothes. My husband also has this hat, and I got the same size, a large. So, that is a consideration when ordering. It really protects from the sun and isn ’ t too hot to wear in the heat.

I use this hat for both gardening and hiking. I like that it is lightweight and easy to pack. It does n't take up a lot of room and when I unroll it, it keeps shape pretty good. At first I was disappointed with the cheap rubber chin strap lock, but it works out OK. I would definitely buy again, but I would measure my head first, I preemptively bought the size Large and it is a tad too big.

[ I do n't like a lot of weight on my head because I suffer from chronic migraines. I love how much sun protection this hat offers for so little weight. I also love the structure of the hat. I had another brand hat that was lightweight, but it was very floppy. It just did n't hold any kind of shape. I have had other hats with nice structure, but it was a lot of weight on my head. I love boonie hats, but the Sport Hat can keep out all angles of sunlight. It is feathery light on your head, but it is still rugged. This is my third one as others finally wore out or got damaged. This hat will stay in place in a strong wind if you cinch down the chin strap. I wear it kayaking on big expanses of water with no wind break. The L/XL hat fit me well.
