I never would have thought that I would buy and wear a one piece swimsuit as a 55 yr old woman--- far too revealing. However, I really like this swimsuit! I chose this swimsuit because I saw the ruching on the sides, and even though it is not a “ maternity ” swim suit, it fits my 8 month bump perfect!! I love it. The quality is really nice and thick. I am naturally large chested even pre pregnancy and usually have a hard time with strapless items, but there is reinforcement on the sides that will keep it up. The back of the suit is full coverage, but I still paired it with a cover up to feel more even more covered. It also comes with optional straps to hook on if you ’ d like. I ’ m so happy this will fit post pregnancy too, and the ruching will help disguise any extra lumps or bumps.

I haven ’ t been able to utilize yet in the winter but the elastic waist is much stronger than LL Bean ’s supplex shorts since they went to China for production, and at lesser cost.. Excellent nylon suit, now ordering another pair for summer. Waist and length excellent for swimming, I prefer nylon to polyester in suits, dry quicker, less resistance in the water. Also uses these for surfing sometimes but better for swimming. Side pockets can balloon if bodysurfing, although meshed. Highly recommend as durable swim shorts.
