I 've been using this Surge backpack since 2019 and it has been great! I 've heard my family's thoughts on the newer model of the same backpack and they are not as impressed. The straps are more prone to breaking and the seams have started tearing pretty early in the life of their backpack. This being said, my older model has been so great! It's gone through years of hauling notebooks, folders, textbooks, water bottles, and clothes for practice after school. One of the shoulder straps did begin to tear last year( 2024) slightly but a quick stitch- job has got it back to working order. I would definitely buy a North Face backpack again!

I have had this bag since 2017 and I beat the crap out of it and it has held up beyond my expectations.. The only thing I wish is that I could wash it better, because I am so hard on my stuff. I would put one more strip of padding on the bottom of the area for the laptop and two way zippers for the front little pocket, One other suggestion is for the side pockets where you can put your drinks it would be cool if one of those was a little longer, and you could zip it up.... Ok, here is the deal. I bought the ox red 15- inch laptop Kanken for travel. I love it. Then I bought the frost green classic Kanken for work and the peachy pink mini for an everyday purse. To say that I am obsessed is an understatement. I love all of the backpacks, and the mini is no exception. I carry bags based on mood. The peachy pink color is an adorable, fun color for any age. I am a 63- year- old baby boomer who still works and goes to school, so I stay busy loving life. I forgot to mention that I bought the assorted Fjallraven pouches to fill up my backpack. What most interested me from the wallet was the G1000 material. This wallet was more than I expected. It has ample space to organize everything you would fit an average wallet. A designated place to fix a phone and still have extra room for small gear like air pods, chargers, and sim cards. The wallet does fit in your back pocket but might slightly stick out. And let me tell you the G1000 material holds up. After being in I rain storm my item didn ’ t get wet. We own Thule luggage so I wanted to update my daily carry electronics bag to something more durable. Thule's bags can take an airport beating and still work great. I like the fabric and that it is water resistant. I like the pockets and the interior key holder. There is plenty of room to cart my work laptop and my personal laptop with all the wires necessary to run the dang things. I 'm a geek and they go everywhere with me. My wish list: I wish the interior was ANY color other than black so I can see what is inside of the bag easier even though I have 2 flashlights to solve that problem. I wish there were MORE pockets. My torso is 17 '' so I purchased the S/M size expecting it to be on the shortest setting. I found I needed to have it just under the longest setting to fit me correctly with the middle of the hip belt on my iliac crest. I think you might be able to squeeze into this pack if your torso is 19 '' maximum. Easily the most comfortable pack I have tried on, very happy with my purchase.

[ I have used this backpack to 3 different hikes here in colorado and I have no complaints about it so far except for the pockets on the shoulder straps that I hope was big enough to fit my phone. It ’s well made, it ’s light, and fits me and my husband comfortably.

[ This bag is great for anyone doing backpacking and traveling and camping. This is a very large bag that will hold so much stuff. It will hold everything you need to go on a trip. I like how light it is but also how sturdy it can be. You can pack a lot and stuff and stuff stuff in here and it's still not super heavy. It comes with plenty of pockets and spots to fit things. Everything can have its own place. I love how easy it is to strap on and how the straps stay in place once you start wearing it. This bag does n't slide around on your back at all and I like that because with moving around a lot bags tend to slide around. I like how easy it is to clean and store when not in use!!

[ I love to go hiking so I was super excited to get this Speed Lite 30 bag by Deuter! The bag itself is well made, the quality is great! I am so impressed with just how lightweight this bag is! Even with all my gear in it, it is still so easy to carry. I can move so much more freely with this bag. Wearing the bag is super comfortable, the straps are nice and padded. The straps are easily adjustable to fit both my partner and I. The bag stays secure with the wrap around fins. With my old hiking gear, my back was always bothering by the time I was done my hike but with this bag, I have absolutely no discomfort. I love the pockets on the shoulder straps, it is super convenient to have my essentials easily accessible. The inside of the bag is large and also has more pockets.
