` I am a 50 year old occasional hiker who has n't had a new pack since college. Just spent 3 days hiking in the Catskills with this pack on my back for 7- 8 hours a day and I love it. Plenty of space and super comfortable. I barely noticed I was even carrying a pack, had zero shoulder or back strain, and like the frame that allows for some airflow through the back area- a big plus hiking in 80+ degree weather. I got this pack the 24 L a little larger than my 22 for my Grand Canyon rim to rim hike, it doesn ’ t come up until October but with my practice hikes I find this to be very comfortable this pack. Great pack. Comfortable to wear. Storage is well thought out and very handy. The only gripe I would have is the 12 liter size does n't hold much. Which is completely solvable by ordering the 20l or 24l size. Great if you 're going for minimal gear. Size/weight.

When travelling, our car was broken into and someone took my travel bag. I knew I wanted to replace my Cotopaxi Allpa 35L travel bag with the same model, since it has several neat compartments with which to store my belongings, has a hardy exterior, is a perfect carry- on size, and has really cool, identifiable colors. I was able to get to a Cotopaxi store and find a similar bag, and with my luck, found a bag with even prettier colors than the last. I also seemed to have gotten an updated model with a few extra compartments, which really made my day. It ’s worth it to travel with Cotopaxi gear.

This is a great pack for both car and airline travel. I pack smart with packing compressors packing cubes but I wouldn ’ t say I pack light and I had plenty of space. The waist belt allows me to comfortably carry this pack through the airport. The straps stow easily and it fits in the overhead bin.

The straps can be hidden with a zippable cover that is stowed away in a pocket at the bottom of the pack as well.
