I have Reynaud ’s and can never keep my hands warm. These mittens aren ’ t perfect, I still get cold fingers, but they are the best I ’ ve had in a very long time. The inner mittens are great on their own. I use them primarily for running, but they would be great for skiing and other winter activities. I liked them so much I bought a second pair. They ’ re big and a bit bulky, but they ’ re warm, well made. I have been wearing the inner mittens in warmer temps using trekking poles. The most extreme weather I used them in was snowshoeing in- 25- 28 °F with a good 10- 15 mph wind. The mittens were so warm that at times I had to remove them so my hands could cool off. Highly highly recommend these gloves, especially if you have a toddler, kids gloves are always so hard to get on them and get their fingers in the right hole and make sure it ’s on properly and stays on throughout the outside process. The gloves are amazing balancing the durability of leather and the performance of gortex. The gloves can be a little stiff but after a day of use they feel start to feel like a second skin. The details are really what makes this glove so great. The pull loop combined with the velcro cuff is a amazing mix that lets you put both gloves on in a matter of seconds. The gloves are plenty warm for just about anything, I 've used them down to below zero with wind chill with just a liner and my hands were as toasty as ever. I 've yet to have a issue with the palm leather wetting out. The only issue I 've had is that velco on the cuff can cause the material around it to fuzz up a little bit but it's barley notice able and is only a visual problem. Overall I 'd recommend these gloves for anyone who is looking for a great ski glove for the slopes, and beyond.

Bought these because they were half the price of others and I saw a ski instructor wearing a pair. Soft and supple leather. 4- 5 trips out, and totally waterproof in the slushy winter we 've had in my area. Warm? Sort of. If I was using these as work gloves, maybe. With a smartwool liner, though, kept me toasty down into the lower 20s. Quality wise looks great. The leather looks like it will hold up much better than any fabric. Overall very happy with the purchase. Wish they had some more insulation, but well- worth it for the price and hopefully durability.
