I absolutely love this jacket! It ’s true to size and fits appropriately snug but not tight. It has two zippers along the teeth, which is super helpful if you ’ re crouching down or generally stretching the jacket in some fashion,( you can move that bottom zipper up to open the jacket a bit, so it ’s not as taut at the bottom). The hood and fur are removable but I haven ’ t taken either off. The jacket is quite warm and comfy, even without the heat on! I highly recommend. It ’s fashionable yet way more beneficial than your average jacket. Plus, you can turn the light off if you don ’ t want people to know you ’ ve got the heat on. I love it so much, I ’ m considering buying it in green too!

I am a small or medium in all my other coats, jackets and tops. This parka in olive is exactly like the pictures in my opinion. It is heavy, good quality and beautiful. I ordered a size medium based upon the size chart and it is VERY fitted in the hips. I am an athletic build- 150lbs with lots of muscle, however I have wider hips than my waist( hourglass) for sure and this REALLY hugs my hips. Fits well in the upper body. Quite possibly large would have worked better, especially since the battery sits on the hips( tightest portion for me). The jacket is beautiful and works well, however the sizing seems to run at least 1- 1. 5 sizes smaller than average. Can not wear bulky layers with this size for sure. Would love at least an exchange option for size issues on open box items.

This is a good one which goes to mid thigh on me( 5' 2 '') with the rounded swoop in the back that looks a bit stylish. The hood is adjustable so it stays put and the collar gives lots of coverage as do the longer sleeves which can cover my hands or adjust with velcro at the wrist and the zippers are waterproof. I ended up going with my normal size of XS after trying the XS and S. I 'm 5' 1 '' and 109 lbs for reference. The size small fit more oversized but the arm sleeve were slightly too long. If you 're between sizes, I would size up. My main concern was how cropped it might be and both jackets ended up hitting my waist at about the same spot so I went with the smaller size for the better arm and shoulder fit.

Wonderful coat! Am 5' 2 '' and under 115 lbs, chose XS and am very pleased. In 20- degree weather I wore a thin long sleeve cotton tshirt and lightweight synthetic sweater- and was plenty warm! The hood is ample with a cozy furry lining, there are nice pockets, the fit is generous and it can either be worn straight, fashionable these days, or cinched at the waist for a more contoured look. The parka is long enough to cover her hips( she has SI joint pain, so keeping them warm is critical) and was super comfy. The parka was perfect for taking the dogs out for their walk in the winter. I am unable to revise my previous negative review. Hence this second review, following up to share the wonderful customer care I have received after notifying the company of my dissatisfaction with the insulation factor in this jacket. Please be advised that this parka is not suitable for extremely cold conditions on its own. As the company explains, and of which I was completely unaware, this parka needs a lighter jacket under- layer in cold climates. It it roomy enough to comfortably accommodate under layers, which does indeed create a much warmer experience in extreme temperatures; a common occurrence where I live. We routinely experience temperatures well below zero.

[ This is a great jacket. I have had it for a little more than a month now. It is well made and very nice looking. It is light weight and very warm. I would say it runs a little small. I ordered a large and wear a size 8 to 10 and it is a little tight at the bottom. If you like your jacket a little loose I would order a size larger. It was a great purchase.

[ I bought this and another similar Prana coat. I compared the two, and this coat was lighter than the other( Kromata). I actually thought this coat was more comfortable, and the pockets were more comfortable. When recieving the coat, the lining was already stuck in the zipper of the pocket. I liked this coat, but wanted a heavier warmer coat, so I went with the Kromata.

[ This jacket is a great all around windbreaker. The fit is oversized and can fit over a lot of layers+ allows a full range of motion. The snaps and zipper are solid. Arms are about average length/what you ’ d expect. The color is a great vibrant green. As to this jacket ’s waterproof- ness I would probably suggest something billed as an actual rain jacket. I think this one could stand up to a drizzle to light rain for a set amount of time, but wouldn ’ t be what I grabbed in anything more. I gave the jacket five stars because I was looking for a windbreaker and this fits the bill.
