Took these on a trip around the Colorado four pass loop. As is typical, we got caught in an afternoon storm at 10, 000 feet and suited up. Pants kept us dry from the rain and wete sufficiently breathable for 2 hours of rainy hiking. I have a hard time finding pants long enough for my 33 '' inseam, but these pants are perfect! I 'm 5' 8 '', 140 pounds, with a slim build and the medium fits perfectly. I bought these trousers more than 2 years ago. Got pregnant in the middle and only did I start wearing them since a year go. I am so impressed by how well they perform. I 've worn them in hikes, climbing, just for regular day wearing and at home. They fit me really good, so it's easy to wear them for different occasions and styles. The buckwheat color is beautiful and a nice change from typical black. They have a stretch waistband and stretch panels on the sides that helped as I was returning back from portpartum abdomen size. The knee precut space is roomie enough for hiking, but for climbing they felt a little tight, so I would n't recommend. I absolutely love the fabric for southern Spain weather, in summer they feel breathable and light, I just rolled the bottom of the legs, and in spring and autumn they feel perfect. In winter they also felt ok on milder weather days. They have a somewhat waterpellent treatment that also serves as dirt repellent that make them ideal if you work in dirty environments, the stain dries and you can brush it off. The pockets are so convenient I love using them at home to carry my phone and other essentials around comfortably. An overall great pair of trousers. Have n't tried the improved fit, but if this pair ever dies I will be repurchasing.

I thought, why not use a legging as my baselayer and then if I need to strip off, I am not hiking through bramble in my woolies? I was worried that the waist would be too tight on me as I am not used to wearing high- waisted pants and I do not have a curvy figure. Going by the size guide, I ordered size 40, but the hips and legs were much too baggy, although the waist was okay but still loose. I took a chance and exchanged the 40 for a 38. When I first tried them on I found the hips and legs fit perfectly. But the waist, as feared, seemed too snug. I kept the pants for a couple of weeks and every few days I would try them on and wear for short periods indoors. After a while, the waist started to loosen just enough to feel comfortable. I have worn them a few times now and the fit just keeps getting better! I am so happy because I really wanted to like these pants and now I have a pair that fit beautifully. I will use them for hiking year round and in the winter as a good pair of outdoor pants in Alaska.

My daughter got me a pair of these pants for Christmas last year. When I tried them on I instantly fell in love with how they felt. They were a little big in the waste and slightly long. However, what I really love about these pants are the ankle straps and the ability to cinch them around your boots. Perfect hunting pant in my opinion with leg/thigh vents and large pockets fir phone and e- collar remote, or anything you carry. They are super comfortable, water resistant on the legs, and they dry quickly everywhere. I love them so much that I 'm ordering my 3rd pair( my second pair I ordered a size smaller sz. 4, and they fit perfectly) and a pair for my son in law and husband for Christmas. This set is overall one of the best winter base layer fits I ’ ve had the chance to try out in the elements( as of yet). The fleecy layer inside isn ’ t too thick, so it will keep you decently warm while not feeling overly constricting( it won ’ t ruin or take away from your outfit either). If I was to give constructive feedback on anything, it would be that they are a little short in length( mind you, I ’ m 5 ’ 11 ”). So, I ’ m really not picky about that kind of thing( for leggings in particular). Especially as they do have a bit of stretch. I would say that they are relatively true to size, maybe size down if you ’ re on the more petite side of the spectrum.

After being pleased with my MH shell, I decided to try these bibs and so glad I did. So far they 've been worn skiing and snowmobiling in various conditions, from 28 degrees and snowing 2 '' an hour, pouring rain, and cold dry single digit weather. The waterproofing is superior, and blocks the wind well enough. The fabric is comfortable and does n't feel constricting. I 'm 5' 2 '', about 130 lbs, with pretty beefy legs and butt. The medium short is definitely roomy, which is what I wanted to allow for layering and freedom of movement. I LOVE that there are options for length. This should be standard in the industry! The leg pockets fit a phone perfectly and have stayed waterproof. The chest pockets are more for sunglasses, chapstick etc, and not a phone, but you should n't have your phone right next to your beacon anyways. The zipper works well enough for peeing. It's a pretty easy process. Overall, this bib is just a great no- nonsense product that does exactly what you need it to do: Keep you dry and comfortable.

I am 5'10 and based on the size guide I fit a small long. However, the main issue I had was that the torso was too short, even with the straps at maximum length. I do not believe these would fit someone taller than me unless they have a relatively short torso. The quality seemed great, but these bibs would be better if there was a front zipper or if the straps could be unhooked. At its current design, you have to lift the straps over your head which is almost impossible if you also have on a helmet. If the torso length could be adjusted along with the strap issue, this would be a five star product.

These trousers are amazing. When the weather gets colder, the extra warmth these provide over the regular Keb trousers don ’ t go unnoticed! I also think the fit is greatly improved over the older Keb trousers but can ’ t speak to the new ‘ improved fit ’ ones. As for the higher waist, unlike the other review, I love this. I bought this last week and it was made in Vietnam. The information was printed on the tights, which I think it is better than a physical label. I am 58kg/ 161 cm. The tights( size S) are very tight on my legs but there is still much room at the butt, so when I walk I could feel the butt area a little bit strange. Regarding comfort, Abisko Trekking Tights Pro are less comfortable as the Abisko trail tights I own, but warmer. You can literally feel the compression and tightness of Abisko Trekking Tights Pro when you put it on.

My first pair of trekking tights- glad I went for these. I 'm Uk16 and 6ft and find the Xl a perfect fit. The seams are very strurdy and the pockets well placed. Hand washed and air dried several times and holding up well. I like the knee and seat reinforcements, but a same coloured option would be good- as per another reviewer. Warm enough for wild Welsh winters. The fabric dries quickly and is hardwearing with big dogs and scrambling over rocks. The ankle hole seems tight, I 'd say these are a `` sit down and ease over the heel '' legging rather than put on standing up and pull all the way on. A suggestion- Would Fjallraven consider printing the garment information inside the fabric instead of having itchy fabric labels? I have to carefully cut out the labels with a sharp knife, without damaging the seam, which I 'm sure will end in disaster one day.

First let me say that I 'm not a person who wears tights- never have been- but these have changed my mind. I was on the fence about ordering for the longest time and I 'm so glad I finally did. I use these pants when hiking and camping in cold/damp weather. The fleece liner feels so comfy against the legs, and the outer shell is durable. These pants are extremely flattering, but I am not a curvy girl... I 'm more straight- shaped. I could see why a curvy figure would have some issues with the waistband. I am in the outdoors all the time for work, and these are a go- to pair for me in the colder and shoulder months. I will be buying more.

I do n't like reviews that say `` love these '' or some such, since it tells me very little. So... I am 5' 2 and weigh 152 pounds. My inseam is usually 28 inches, no more than 29. I ordered the large and they were perfect in length, landing right at my ankles with a little sag for give in the knees, and for squatting. I have a bit of a straight waist that is short- the waist band is about a 2 inch band that did NOT roll over or down and did not bind so the waist was just right. Fit perfect in the hips, and I have a butt so they stretched without gapping or sagging down in the back. I washed them in warm water, rinsed in cold and hung them up to dry. Dried quickly. They were warm without being hot, did not bunch in the crotch, and I had on jeans over them. Worked outside on the farm and stayed cozy. Went back and bought two more pairs.

`` Heavyweight '' is a little misleading. The fabric is very thin and see- through. On their own, they do n't feel very warm, but worn under jeans or other pants as intended, they function very well. I forget I 'm even wearing them under jeans, and they keep me very warm on cold mornings. A good comfortable base layer. Got the M and they fit great. I 'm usually a 6- 8 in pant size.

This is my second time purchasing these pants. I bought my original pair for a trip to Everest in 2021 and I wore them for weeks straight. They have great stretch, and I loved the adjustable waist and venting in particular as I tend to run hot. We had many days of cold rain on the way up and these pants kept me warm the whole time.( paired with lightweight base layer leggings). The inner leg protection for the boots is rugged and I agree with others that details such as the many zipper pockets made these pants an excellent value. I loved the fit right off the hop so I bought two pairs. I 've been rocking these for 8 months now and they show no signs of wear. Solid construction that you can trust in the bush. Bear spray fits perfectly in the front thigh pocket. I bought size 38. I am 5' 5 '', fluctuate between 134- 137lb. 28- 29 '' waist, 38 '' hips. On my skinnier feeling days they are loose, and on my cycle or if I 've just been on indulgent vacation they feel amazing still! They wash up nicely in the sink and dry overnight. Lots of pockets. the pants stretch nicely and do n't bind at the waist at all.( this is the new updated fit, and i love it)!

I wanted to love the keb trousers but I couldn ’ t get over a few flaws. The thicker material is not ideal for summer conditions and the reinforced butt gave me a uni- butt. I recently bought the keb agile trousers and they are perfect. The pants are thinner, still durable, and have quite a bit of stretch! Overall I think these new trousers are the perfect edition to my hiking wardrobe.

This is my first Fjallraven pair of trousers. I 've previously bought from other outdoor brands. Pros: Material seems high quality and very breathable even with long johns underneath. It feels durable and the stitching is immaculate. It has a lot of ventilation pockets and deep storage pockets. Deep pocket placement is great so items wo n't poke you while walking or squatting/sitting. The ankles are slightly flared so thick socks and boots can fit comfortably. They also have buttons so you can do a tighter fit. It is comfortably high waisted and makes movement smooth/easy. I have a curvy figure and the fit is very flattering. No crotch seam. Cons: there are questionable too many seams, which squeeze on you when squatting or bending the knee, but the pants may be flexible because of the seams. It is not a stretchy material so your size is very important. It hugs your waist, so it is not easy to put the pants on as a curvy person. Once it's on, it feels like a second skin though. It does run small. I was hoping a large would let me wear a base layer, but it just barely fits. With the amount of seams, a base layer will probably protect your skin from seams digging in. Will update once I take it out for a few weeks.

[ I bought theses a few weeks ago to wear for work on a ski mountain. We had some extremely cold days last week and I was always warm. The fit is perfect and any dirt seems to brush right off. The only downside is that they are a bit long, but I just roll them under when in street boots. The best part is that my husband says I look like I lost 20 pounds as compared to my prior work pants.

I am 5' 3 '' and 143lbs. I wear a medium but wanted these pants large to fit over leggings and cold winter wear for a trip to Iceland. They are baggy as they should be. I bought a large and have room to wear both baselayer and leggings over. I like them baggy; they cinch tight and the ankles have good velcro and long leg zippers for a quick pull on in sudden rain. I 'm excited to take these on my trip. I am a true `` medium '' and could wear these over single leggings in that size but, I 'm skydiving and need the wind and rain protection so extra layers are essential. [ Overall I like these pants. They fit true to size and the material is light, stretchy, and comfortable. I like the wide waist band and it does n't seem like it will stretch out. There seems to be extra material in the front though, making the front of the pants baggy and the pockets pooch out. I got the gold/brown color and it's OK, just not very neutral and wo n't match tons of things. I might order another pair in a different color.
