I love it! I am really specific about sun shirts because I live and work on boats and wear a sun shirt most days. Full disclosure: I have tried the Crater Lake and Sunshadow before this and really did not like them. The Crater Lake is 1) kind of soft and does n't breath as well as this one and 2) had sloppy sewing so the sleeve hem unravelled after a couple months of wear. The Sunshadow was low stretch and super restricting to wear and the fabric stained really easily. This* Sunblocker* is amazing. The fabric is super quick drying but not scratchy, the sewing is really neat, and the fabric is stretchy and not restrictive. I sized up from S to M and am glad I did. I personally love the crop. It still protects my whole back, even when I bend over, but is n't too long. Overall, I 'm really happy with it!

I bought the light grey colour because I thought it could double as bug protection, since the mosquitoes were horrendous. I really liked how feather- light it was, it dried fast and the hood was great when the bugs were fierce. Quite happy with this version of the Astroman! Still the same great sun protection and durability but the material seems lighter/faster drying somehow. The small fit fine, but I prefer a looser fit for layering and breathability:) And because this is a sun shirt, looser fit is best for the fabric to keep out sun rays, anyways. The ONLY thing I would change about this: please move the pocket to the chest or somewhere more useful. It's on the right hip and goes backwards which is strange and not natural at all, I really dislike it. I 'd prefer it be on the chest( like the men's version) or even still on the hip but a zippered drop pocket( like the Freewheel Hoodie).

I live at elevation, where weather conditions can change fast( and wind is common). I 've worn this jacket in a variety of conditions so far: rain/snow mix at 40 degrees,< sub- freezing temps and sunny, dark and 32 degrees. It's kept me warm without overheating, blocked the wind, and kept me dry during light/moderate precipitation. It's lightweight and packs up small, and is my new fav running item! It feels like it might run just a tad bit small in my opinion, so if you want a thicker layer under it, I might suggest sizing up.

I winter hike a lot in the white mountains of New Hampshire and I love this layer! It's perfect for ascents over my 300 weight wool shirt. I rarely sweat in it or need more than those 2 layers. If I do sweat it evaporates very quickly. It's very thin and lightweight however I barely need an additional layer in higher elevations. I have worn this in temps ranging from 10- 30 degrees F. It's amazing. I love the windbreaker aspect of it bc it either surprise snows or you brush up against trees while hiking and do n't get wet. You stay so warm with the fleece lining. Still ca n't believe how thin it is.

I took this shirt with me for walking the Camino in the early fall( ~35C on the coast with no shade). I 'm very sensitive to heat( due to both MS and some of my medication), but after soaking this shirt in water, the combination of the quick evaporation and the UV protection was enough to keep me comfortable even at noon. It was great to be able to skip out on sunblock and still not end the day looking like a tomato. Was looking for a high- visibility running jacket similar to the Patagonia Houdini Air( wind resistance+ breathability). I have both the regular Houdini( size L) and Houdini Air( M). Keeping this in M. FIT: I 'm 5' 1, 150 lbs, 34DD, round belly. With a Smartwool 250 baselayer or a thin long- sleeved cotton t, fit is close to the body, but not tight( Houdinis run much slimmer); pretty forgiving of my belly:) Perfect length for me, falling around mid- hip; Houdinis are longer, falling below my butt. FEEL/FUNCTION: I 've worn this for multiple runs( incl. light rain, strong wind). This feels somewhere in- between the Houdinis in terms of wind- blocking and breathability. V. light rain beaded on the surface of the jacket, but left a mark when smushed into the fabric. Material is a matte, slightly stretchy, more fabric- y( vs. plastic- y) material- like a slightly thicker/heavier Air. Hood fits over thick pony- tail securely when fully zipped, and stays in strong wind. Doubles as a running and casual jacket better than the Houdinis due to a more forgiving fit around the mid- section( for looser- fitting street clothes), shorter length( more flattering for my short stature), and zippered side pockets. Packs down small enough for an upcoming 2. 5 week trip to Europe( 24L bag). COLOR: Azalea appears neon coral in the pictures, which is what originally attracted me. Unfortunately, it actually is not neon at all, and is more like a salmon pink that leans more pink than orange. It is slightly see- through. LOVE the green( Grove) colorway- something about the color+ matte fabric texture+ matching zippers makes it look SO smooth and rich and clean. I bought it and it is now my favorite shirt! I 'm 5 foot, so it covers my bum, which is perfect with leggings. I 'm 180 pounds and the Large is a perfect fit. I 'm also 3 months pregnant and it fits my bump. It is really soft, comgortable, warm but not TOO warm so I can wear it comfortably at work. I love that there is the holes for the thumbs also. The neck cowl is not too tight and gives just enough coverage to keep wind out. I really recommend it.:)

This 1/4 snap pullover will be great this winter sitting by the campfire!!! It is nice and thick and warm. I love the square somewhat cropped look across the bottom but not too short and not too long. The pockets are great!! I plan to wear with jeans and Ugg slippers that match!!! Would be cute with legging or sweats, as well!!!

If you are on the fence, just get this. You will not regret it. My husband picked this out for me( size and color too) and it is seriously my favorite present! I have never had a Patagonia before because of the price point, but this was a Christmas gift. I an 5' 7 '', 140, Chest 36| Waist 28 in jeans. I got the L in the off white with blue trim and mustard pulls. I have LONG arms and always have to size up. This is perfect. It is loose fitting, but not like I 'm wearing a huge sweatshirt. It is flattering and cute with jeans and whatever shoes you wear. I went on here today to see what other colors there were. I am here in Chicago rural suburb weather and this is warm. Love it. Get it. Do n't cheap out with your other option you are thinking about.:)

[ My husband bought me this for my B- day back in june. We live in Michigan and go to our lake house in the north every weekend, even though it's summer it is often in the 50s during the night and morning, so a warm jacket is needed. I have been a wearer of the Osito jacket during this time for over 10 years now and love them. I was super excited for this hoodie. My husband got me my normal XS small size in rose, white and black colors. They are very pretty and have a super cute design, the only thing is being late 30s mother I feel a bit self- conscious wearing cropped clothing. My 17 year old daughter on the other hand had no problem wearing them. She normally wears a size small so these XS are tight on her and very cropped but that is how she likes her clothing. We both agree that the best way to wear them is by themselves with a pair of high- waisted leggings. I just put a sports bra underneath usually but my daughter prefers the no bra feel so that's how she does it.
