I bought this when it was on sale for 70% off, not knowing the exact fabric content or if the quality would be as good as other Smartwool items I 've purchased. The construction is pretty good, flat lock seams are well executed and it's comfortable to wear. My biggest complaint is that they do n't list the exact fabric content in the website description. It's 56% merino, 44% polyester. Material is thin, comparable to Merino 150. Fit is slim and a little long. With the light weight of the material the collar has a tendency to fold in on itself if it's slightly unzipped, but I do n't think this can be fixed. Overall I 'm happy with the purchase and would recommend it

I like that it ’s a little long because most medium shirts are hardcore belly shirts when I pick my arms up a little.( I ’ m not that type of guy) If you are than this shirt might not be for you. [ This is my go- to base layer for skiing( or any other outdoor cardio activity... if I ever did one). It's form fitting and has great mobility. I always use merino fabric as my base layer since it's' breathable and odor- resistant. This top kept me warm but not overheated in 30 degree weather with a down ski jacket. I prefer to minimize my layers so this top paired with my jacket is all I need in everything but extremely cold or warm skiing weather. It's also stylish and looks good with ski pants on its own for apres!

[ I have many wool items but the Smartwool ultralight 120 collection is amazing for hot summers. I wore this hoodie at Disney in Anaheim in mid- August and it offered sun protection while keeping me cool and dry. At night when things cooled off it offered the perfect amount of warmth. I do wish that the collar was a little more open but then it would n't be as great for sun protection. Highly recommend.

[ I am very happy with this Tee. It is lightweight and comfortable to wear and I get compliments on the fit. I worked in the yard for several hours in 80 degree heat and it kept me cool and comfortable. I could have worn it the next day as it did not retain any odor. I was n't certain how the addition of Lyocell to the Wool would affect the breathability of the fabric. I am happy to say it worked just fine! I have not yet washed it but am sure it will live up to the Smartwool standards. Nice to have a v- neck option as not all of us look good in crew neck styles. From a modesty standpoint you do have to be a bit careful when leaning over. I normally wear a medium however based on the review I ordered a small and it fits perfect.
