The Calcutta can be used in freshwater or saltwater and is rated for use with mono, Fluorocarbon and PowerPro® lines. The frame, sideplates, and spool are constructed from cold forged aluminum and the reel has Anti-Rust Bearings so it will last you a fishing lifetime.
