They take care of their customers. I contacted them about my issue in the morning, sent in pics of my issue and a new paddle was in my hands 2 days later! It is lightweight, which makes getting it around for those fast, low balls easier as well as running back to the end of the court for a high, over the head shot. OK, so I 'm a pickleball fanatic... a cross- over after 65 years of playing tennis. I know what it takes to deliver power, spin, and touch from the backcourt, and from the net. I found it all with the Evoke Premier paddle. I purchased the 'heavy' model, which gives my shots that extra pop I want. The surface is nicely textured, and delivers all the spin I can muster. If I could find any room for improvement in the Evoke Premier, it would be the material used for the handle, which can get quite slippery under humid conditions. Some overwrap took care of that. Although this frame has been around for awhile, I highly recommend it.

I got the red lightweight Onyx Evoke paddle. It weighs 7. 7 oz and is heavier( and more top heavy) than my lightweight Selkirk. I love the tennis- handle shape of the grip; however, the padding on the grip is very thin and can get uncomfortable. If Onyx can figure out how to give some more grip padding without adding more weight and circumference to the grip, they 'll have a true winner.

My wife and I love this paddle. It has so much better qualities versus our other one. It ’s lighter, it has a larger surface area, it ’s longer, it has a better grip, and it provides a much more solid strike and control of the ball with minimal effort. I 've played for about a year now and have taken many lessons. Early on I bought an expensive paddle with excellent reviews. But I was getting frustrated with consistency and accuracy and took a chance getting this paddle because it promised control and accuracy over power. I 've had it for less than 2 weeks and it has totally changed my game. I feel like the king of drop shots now- they 're so easy and intuitive- the paddle feels like an extension of my hand. The spin created makes aggressive speed- ups that stay in- bounds so much easier. Off center hits do n't twist the paddle like before. Lacks the absolute power of my other paddle, but this works to my advantage because I do n't hit as many shots long and now focus on accuracy and finesse which ultimately wins more points.

Overall the 505 has been an excellent paddle for me, I have used this paddle for two years as this is my second one. The paddle has great balance and control and the long handle allows two handed. Backhands, it also has a wonderful grip. I have played with many other popular paddles from different companies and this paddle by far has the best overall qualities of control and power.

I 've played with the 505 for about a year. The 505 does many things very well including pop, consistency, leverage, and control. Having played with many of the top brands the thing that sets the 505 apart is its large and consistent sweet- spot. This effects your entire game but for me it tremendously helped with the 3rd/5th/7th shot drops. I believe this is a great paddle for everyone but especially the 3. 5- 4. 0 player trying to progress forward to 4. 5. The paddle produces average spin which I think is actually a positive for this level of player, forcing them to focus on form and consistency over creating MAD spin. I coach and play at 5. 0.
