This is such a cool camping/hiking backpack, it has more pockets than I 'd know what to do with. There is a little pocket at the bottom that holds a waterproof cover. It can be easily folded back up to fit inside. There are sturdy metal rods, with a heavy duty mesh piece on the back. It will definitely hold up when hiking. The bag is adequately sized for all hikes and most short camping trips. Despite its relatively small size, it boasts a number of impressive features. Firstly, this bag has a small plastic internal frame to provide structure. The frame is lightweight, yet sturdy enough for a fully packed bag. Because of the frame's assistance with weight distribution, everything felt lighter on my back. This bag also has many different pockets and straps for varied packing strategies. The straps on the bottom of the bag are perfect for a sleeping bag, ground mat, or small tent. Underneath those straps is a small pocket that holds an included rain cover to keep your bag totally dry during heavy rain. There is also a pocket on top of the bag for any small items you may need to access on the go, without opening or unpacking the rest of the bag. Finally, there is a pocket for a hydration bladder, so you can stay hydrated as you move. Some other useful features are the emergency whistle on the chest strap, the included strap management bungees( so those leftover strap ends after adjustment are n't hanging everywhere), and the water bottle pockets on the sides. Overall, I would give this product a 5/5. Met or exceeded all of my expectations. I would highly recommend this bag to anybody who is a frequent camper or hiker.

I 've gotten to take it out both XC skiing and on some winter hikes and it's the perfect size for an extra layer, snacks, first aid kit, and any other gear you might need on the trail. I love the magnet strip on the water bladder that nicely holds the bladder straw in space when not using it, and easy to drink out of while on the trail. The pockets are well thought out and easily accessible. This 35L bag worked well for my 2- week, multi- city trip to Europe. It was easy to pack in the convenient zipper compartments especially with compression packing cubes. I was able to fit enough clothing for the spring weather and even could fit an extra pair of shoes in the pack. The upper pouches outside of the pack are great for storing extra items that need to be accessible. This bag fit as a carry on even on a small regional flight in Europe. It was also comfortable on my back standing/walking for long periods of time. I also traveled with the 3- liter hip pack that contained everything I needed in flight. It would be great if there was some sort of compatible system to be able to carry a larger( 10- 20L pack) with the Allpa pack, but all things considered the 35L and 3L system worked well for me.

The compartments and the small zipper pocket are our favorites. Everyone even has their own color! We use them as our daily gear transport but can easily see this working for an extended bike trip. The straps are more prone to breaking and the seams have started tearing pretty early in the life of their backpack. This being said, my older model has been so great! It's gone through years of hauling notebooks, folders, textbooks, water bottles, and clothes for practice after school. One of the shoulder straps did begin to tear last year( 2024) slightly but a quick stitch- job has got it back to working order. I would definitely buy a North Face backpack again!

I got this duffel this spring, I needed a new dry bag. So far it's rafted on the Bruneau, Selway and Salmon with me. Everything in the bag has stayed dry but I also have not flipped. I love how easy it is to get into and then close. I also appreciate the two handles on the ends of the bag and the side webbing that looks good but gives me another attachment point. The backpack straps on the bag are super comfortable and let me carry my bag with ease over slippery rocks. Made extremely well. Loved the hard bottom of this considering I mostly fish kayak and canoe, keeps things dry. Looked forever for what this thing will hold with no info on storage capacity. Pulled the trigger and was pleased with what I could fit. Main compartment holds 3 3700 size boxes, you could add a 3700 thin as well but its pretty tight. The front pouch will hold a 3600 box without much room to spare, I loaded mine with a 3600 thin terminal box and a thin 3500 box. Pouches on the side of bag will hold the small Flambeau spinner bait box. I used top pouch for plastics, holds like ten bags or so comfortably. Great bag and comfortable to carry fully loaded

I recently purchased the High Water Duffel from Mystery Ranch. I had been looking for a mid- size waterproof duffel to carry expensive gear in the bed of my pick- up. The truck's hard bed cover is lockable but not waterproof. I had tried other brands but was never satisfied so I returned them. I 've owned a Mystery Ranch Three- Day Assault bag for years and use it every day so when I saw that the company had introduced a 50 liter waterproof duffel I ordered one. The bag more than meets my requirements. The giant central compartment swallows as much gear as I shove into the dry- zipper opening. The dry- zipper functions smoothly every time with no snags. Per MR,s recommendation I applied zipper wax. I utilized the dry zipper wax crayon that I use for my SCUBA dry- suit zipper. The High Water Duffel's main compartment is 100% waterproof, and has been severely tested in the short time that I 've owned it. The bag rode in the bed of my truck during a week long, wind- driven rain- filled Northern California road trip. The following week I used it during two days of outdoor range training occurring in continuous heavy rain and wind in Los Angeles. On both occasions the exterior of the bag was completely wet while the interior compartment and contents remained bone dry. But the waterproof exterior fabric quickly wiped dry with a towel. I like that the bag has minimal organization, which allows it to accommodate multiple large, bulky items. As my rapid deployment bag, it is currently holding both soft body armor and a hard rifle plate carrier, gun belt, holster, pistol and rifle magazines, IFAK, helmet, and light breaching tools, There is still room remaining for a jacket, combat pants and boots. The bag has two exterior mesh zippered pockets-- the bag's only organization-- which is perfect for smaller items such as chem- lights, markers, flashlight, goggles, waterproof notebook, and a thirty- foot nylon strap. There are four external daisy- chain attachment points running perpendicular to the long axis. I have a carabiner attached which holds door wedges. The bag can be carried as either a backpack or a traditional duffel bag. It comes with two quick detachable padded shoulder straps that can be reconfigured as a single duffle strap. There are also two reinforced carry handles on either end. I could n't be happier with this purchase. I 'm actually considering buying a second High Water Duffel to carry clothing and other items on long road trips and/or to carry dry items on the deck of an operational dive boat. Mystery Ranch hit it out of the park with this one.

The wheel are tough and sturdy and easily traverse the jet ways and jump on to the plane. Fits easily down the aisle and rolls smoothly to your destination. I like the zippers and sipper pulls but they could be a little stiffer as sometimes if not packed full you really have to tug on them to get them moving. We will see how the nylon bottom and side hold up to airport luggage handlers as well as the telescoping handles but combine with the larger one I can have my essentials with me as the rest of my gear rides securely down below.

This bag is great and a level up from a duffle bag I ’ ve been using for years from another brand. I love all the pockets and how everything stays organized. My friend has the same style bag but the smaller version, we both have experienced a hitch on the zipper on the top right side of the bag. It must be close to where some strong seams come together on the inside of the bag, it makes it difficult to open/close in that one spot every time- even if the pack isn ’ t super full. [ I have only taken this out once to prepare for a longer trip. We hiked 6 miles. I had it packed with at least 20 lbs. It was WONDERFUL!!! Compared to the one I already own, this pack was so much more comfortable and light. It also has several nice pockets. I am excited to use it more!

[ Bought this bag before a 3 night backpacking trip with my husband. He has a bigger bag so could hold more than I could, but I found it to be the PERFECT size for a 3- night trip, assuming someone else is with you carrying the tent& other larger supplies. This held half of our food, my clothes, sandals, 2 water bottles, my camping mug, and other misc. emergency supplies( first aid kit, emergency blanket).

Great for the price. I 'm a hydration pack fanatic because I use them several times a week. This one is quite good. The good: Really well made and durable materials. It is a really versatile hydration pack that can be used for hiking, cycling, etc. It has some internal pockets in the main compartment that really distributes your stuff and the weight well and keeps the pack well balanced. The back pads are nice and plush. The straps are stout. The external stuff pockets on the side/front are very useful. I like how the waist straps tuck away if you are not using them. Trekking pole straps/compression straps are nice. The pack is really streamlined, fits snug against the body, and is very stable for activity. The stuff that can be improved: The hydration bladder and bite valve are not the best, but they do function decent and for the price it is not a big deal. It would be nice to have some sort of velcro on the large external stuff pocket just to secure your stuff a little.

A perfect complement to my Burley Coho XC trailer. It ’s a nice fit into the trailer with a little bit of room on the edges. If you want to talk, some other goodies in the rolltop works well, but the clips on the side may not be in the best position. Otherwise, a great light weight bag to keep my gear dry on weekend trips to the Cape and Islands in northern Vermont. Nice being able to get on a ferry with a trailer and not need a car reservation and be able to carry everything you need rain or shine.

The single wheel trailer is really well designed. I love how you can disassemble it and fit it in a compact car to transport to your next adventure. Assembly was pretty quick and easy. Customer support for a defect was great. Once you get moving you don ’ t even recognize it ’s behind you, until you get to a hill, but that ’s part of biking. It would be great if the cargo area was about 6 inches longer for the things that I do.
