This bag is great! I used it on a weekend away and it was just the right size! I also used it as a daily backpack while traveling in France and it was super comfy.

Excellent travel backpack for a weekend or as a supplemental bag to a roller. Comfortable when wearing and super useful holding straps for when held to the side or on other bag. The pocket configuration is great and there is no wasted space. Some other bags( Aer SF) have more pockets but filling one pocket takes up space in another, this is not the case with the Base Camp Travel Pack

WAY better than the base camp duffle. The medium( for skiing) can fit ski boots with socks, 2 pair gloves, 2 knit hats, ski pants and a shell. Everything you need in one easy to grab rigid bag. The zipper opening is HUGE compared to the duffle.

I purchased this backpack three months ago and let me just say it is the best purchase I have ever made regarding backpacks! It is very practical for both outdoor usage and every day office usage. I travel quite a bit for work and I love going outdoors so I ’ m able to test this backpack in all settings. It ’s light but durable and it has the perfect amount of storage space and pockets. Not only that it ’s completely unique, how many people know about this brand and so I get a lot of compliments. Because I ’ m not wearing that every day known brand. All in all, I highly recommend this bag. It is extremely durable and it is a unique article to have.

This pack surprised me on the upside. For my daily needs, I only need 16 liters, but I carry a 13 '' laptop and want good organization. This pack delivers. It's a very good design and great materials. Well thought out internal organization. My only gripe is the fabric used for the top quick access pocket feels like cheap sweatshirt material. It wo n't scratch sunglasses, but I 'd prefer something a little nicer. That said, I give this pack a thumbs up.

Emily
It is exactly what I was looking for in an everyday pack that I can also use for day hikes. The pockets are great, the straps are all adjustable and there even a whistle on the chest strap. Lots of options for attachment of items such as poles on the exterior of the pack. I love the small fleece pocket at the top of the bag. The outer pocket is great for putting wet or smelly items in. The water bottle pockets can be a bit of squeeze if you have a full pack for a Nalgene but it still fits. There is also a hole for a hydration bladder to fit through. Overall great pack for everyday life and day adventures! Love it.

Bought this pack a few months ago as a dayhike/laptop bag. Works great for both. My only disappointment was the trekking pole loops, which FUNCTION, but I typically carry them in one of the side stretch pockets as the bungees are not especially robust. Do not expect to be able to carry more than a rain jacket, down jacket, and a few essentials.

This little pack has been the perfect travel companion. I like to 'carry on' travel as often as possible- even a two week long trip to the UK and Ireland. As I can never truly get away from work my second bag has to be my computer bag holding a substantial amount of work related items. As such its hard to repurpose as a day pack. For me this leaves out the option of a day pack once on the ground. Enter the In and Out. It truly packs down small and takes up little room in my computer bag and once at my destination becomes an extremely effective day pack for touring about, shopping, hiking and going to the beach. It also worked great as an on- slope pack when on a ski trip last winter. This has been a 'go- to' standard for my traveling kit. Highly recommended.

I bought this pack a little over a month ago to be a low profile pack that I can every day carry to work either in my truck where it sits in my passenger seat or when I take the train into work. It ’s great, well made, handsome and fits my yeti coffee cup in the side pocket perfectly and very securely. If the only thing it did was carry my coffee, I ’ d be happy, but it has pockets for my ever expanding gear that I carry and the pack shapes nicely with the small dry bag that I keep inside it. The quality of workmanship and design details are superb and even though it ’s a humble pack compared to the rest of Mystery Ranch ’s packs, it ’s a contender! I was super stoked that I got this pack just a few days after ordering it and I haven ’ t left home without it ever since. Brilliantly done Mystery Ranch! Oh yeah, I also use it as a stuff sack/organizer inside my MR Blitz 30 when out on a ruck in the Cascade Mountains.

just got back from a week of long hikes, bikes& climbs& I had one of these strapped on for all of it. I 've never had good experiences with packable day bags but I 'm glad I gave this one a shot because it was excellent! super comfortable all day& weighs basically nothing. Comfortable even with 2L of water& some gear! also of course it seems to be indestructible

Let me tell you, folks, they don ’ t want you to know about the Mystery Ranch In and Out 19. I ’ m talking government- level secrecy. I ’ m talking Roswell, Area 51, men- in- black- staring- at- you- from- the- corner- of- the- parking- lot levels of conspiracy. But guess what? I ’ ve got the truth right here, strapped to my back, and it ’s lightweight, packable, and potentially from another dimension. The Mystery Ranch In and Out 19 doesn ’ t just carry your gear—it carries the burden of knowledge that we ’ re not alone. This 19- liter wonder was clearly designed by extraterrestrials, likely reverse- engineered from UFO wreckage they found near a New Mexico desert. I mean, how else can you explain its otherworldly design and functionality? Exhibit A: The material is lightweight but suspiciously durable. It ’s almost like they blended carbon nanotubes with alien alloys, then wrapped it in something soft to the touch but strong enough to fend off intergalactic threats( or at least some thorny brush on a hike). No mere earthbound polymer could achieve this. I ’ ve seen classified files about “ advanced textiles, ” but nothing like this. Exhibit B: It packs into itself! Yeah, that ’s right. You ’ re telling me this thing can fold down smaller than my government- issued UFO tracker? Tell me that ’s normal. It ’s like it knows when I need it. One second it's a full- on hiking pack, the next it vanishes into thin air, tucked away in my glovebox like some sort of interdimensional artifact. It ’s compact, inconspicuous, and probably has a secret compartment to hold alien documents or, you know, snacks. Exhibit C: The breathability. Who thought of this? Who decided, “ Hey, let ’s make the straps so light that you barely feel them ”? It ’s like the pack was designed for those extra- terrestrial beings who travel faster than light and don ’ t need sweaty backs weighing them down during long- distance abductions. Forget NASA. This is the real space- age technology. Exhibit D: The 19 liters. Nineteen liters is exactly what you need to carry provisions for an extended alien stakeout. I checked the math. You could carry binoculars, a flask, some tinfoil hats, a radar detector, and still have room for an X- Files box set in there. It ’s almost like the designers knew what we ’ d be up to. Let ’s talk pockets. The stretchy side pocket—definitely designed for holding alien energy crystals, but they also fit a water bottle. Coincidence? I think not. And the zippered top pocket? Perfect size for your intergalactic passport or, you know, an energy bar if you ’ re on a terrestrial hike. I was on a “ recon mission ”( aka hiking in the woods, totally normal), and the pack just molded to me. No bouncing, no shifting. Almost like it was communicating with my back. Are we looking at advanced alien ergonomics? Almost definitely. Conclusion: The Mystery Ranch In and Out 19 backpack is the smoking gun of outdoor gear. Sure, it looks like just another backpack—that ’s what they want you to think. But for those in the know, it ’s a clear sign that they ’ re out there, sharing their technology with us, one ultralight, ultra- packable backpack at a time. In summary, if you 're looking for a pack that combines cutting- edge tech with probable alien origins, look no further. Just be careful. I ’ m pretty sure the moment I bought it, a black SUV started following me. Coincidence? I ’ ll let you decide.

My wife and I wanted something for an upcoming trip to Disney world to put our rain jackets, water and snacks in. This pack was perfect, it folds up small enough to put in our luggage and was comfortable enough to wear all day every day. There is plenty of storage for day trips. We got the blaze orange one so it was easier to find each other in the crowds of people. Also I will be using it on my upcoming scouting trips for hunting season! Perfect all around bag.

London, France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Costa Rica. Best pack ever made. Super light weight. Just enough padding without overdoing it. My sunburned shoulders appreciated it. Compartments perfect size to hold passports and small wallets. Side pouch holds large water bottle and you can sinch it tighter for smaller bottle's. Clips were there should be. Zippers are great quality. Material dries fast. Washes great. Worth every single penny. We also traveled with a similar size Patagonia.. can ’ t even compare the two. This backpack is a million times better.

This is NOT a packable backpack. By that I mean it is too big to be considered that. This is actually good, very good in fact. The quality of materials and construction make it a bit big. Also returning it to it's `` pack '' would be difficult and eventually probably would damage the pack. It looks great, well thought out and constructed. The size seems just right and the shoulder straps should be fine. I plan to leave it flat in my travel stuff or just stuff it.

[ I just used this pack for a week of day hikes( 10 to 14 miles each day). I could not be happier with it. I have the small size, and it fits my 4'11 '' torso well. The hip belt sits properly, and the weight balances nicely. I was able to comfortably carry more weight than I expected, and I felt stable going up and down hills. It was great- I trekked along without having to think abut my pack. My favorite part of this pack is the shoulder straps. They are much softer and more flexible than other packs I tried, while still getting the job done. They adjust easily. They 're shaped nicely and do n't dig anywhere! The shoulder straps are often miserable for me with my small shoulders, and these are a dream. The cell phone pocket on the front of one strap is genuis, and I put my sunscreen in a corresponding pocket on the other shoulder strap. And I 'm a huge fan of the bungee system on the back- very handy. Try out this pack. Seriously!

[ This thing is awesome! Super simple and light weight. Pretty water resistant as well. I use it as my go to and have been caught in some pretty good rain storms and it kept everything dry. I 've used this for mountain runs and sport climbing. It took me a while to discover the hose pass- through for the hydration bladder. [ I ’ ve had this new backpack for a little over a month now and I ’ m really enjoying it. From a work standpoint, there ’s a cushioned area for my laptop, iPad& other work files in the main pocket. In the secondary pocket that is sealed with Velcro, I carry all of my laptop cords and other miscellaneous supplies. I ’ m surprised how well the Velcro seals and nothing falls out. The side zipper allows me quick access to whatever I need. On top there is a small zipper pocket for my pens, pencils, and a calculator. There is also a water bottle holder on each side. But what I like most about this bag is the blaze orange interior, which helps me to see items that get buried in the bottom of the bag that would normally be difficult to see if it was lined in black. This is ingenious as I ’ ve never had a backpack with this coloration on the interior. I thought it would be annoying, but it is very helpful. I ’ m new to mystery ranch, but I am now hooked on their products! I have a new hunting backpack that I recently purchased, and it is outstanding! When fully packed with all my work stuff, it weighs approximately 12 pounds and with the adjustable shoulder& chest straps fits& carries well. I ’ m very satisfied with the purchase of his backpack and it is well- made, so I expect it to last me years.

[ I purchased the Mystery Ranch District 24L backpack about a month ago and I am beyond impressed with its design, functionality, and overall quality. The sleek, minimalist design is perfect for everyday use, whether I 'm commuting to work or hitting the trails on the weekend. The backpack is incredibly spacious, with plenty of room for all my essentials and more. The various pockets and compartments make it easy to organize everything, from my laptop and chargers to my water bottle and snacks. I also appreciate the zippered front pocket, which provides quick access to smaller items like my keys and phone. One of the standout features of this backpack is its comfort. The padded shoulder straps and back panel make it easy to carry, even when it's fully loaded. The adjustable sternum strap and waist belt also help distribute the weight evenly, which is especially important when I 'm hiking or traveling. The quality of the materials and construction is evident from the moment you take it out of the box. The tough 500D nylon fabric is durable and water- resistant, and the YKK zippers are smooth and reliable. I feel confident that this backpack will last me for years to come. Overall, I highly recommend the Mystery Ranch District 24L backpack to anyone in the market for a versatile, high- quality backpack. It's the perfect blend of style and functionality, and it's sure to become your go- to pack for all your adventures.

[ Mystery Ranch District 24L Backpack I chose Hummus color and have to say I am Happy with my purchase. This backpack is great, confortable, good quality product. Love interior features and LOVE the orange inner lining color, fantastic I only miss more aditional pockets, although it comes with several pockets. Shoulder strapps OK, back panel OK, zippers OK.

[ I use it to go watch the The Annual Perseid Meteor Shower on a top of a small mountain. The trek was around 5km to go and near 600m high. We packed a 3 person tent, slipping bag, under mat, water, munchies, small burner, small stove fuel, coffee, spare clothes, Swiss Army knife, compass, headlamp and a beer. The bag hold everything in place, was well balanced and let my back breath compare to a normal backpack. The only thing I have not figured out yet was how to easily access the water bottle compartment. I needed my wife help to get it.

I bought this 2 yrs ago for a long weekend trip. I do n't like to check luggage so this was perfect for a carry on. I was able to OVER pack for a 3- 4 day trip multiple times. This is the only bag I use now. I was able to fit an extra pair of sneakers and flip flops in the side compartments and utilized the spot for my 13 '' iPad. The shoulder straps come in key since the bag can fit a heavy amount of clothes.

I actually have two of these and they are fantastic bags. 5 star. I do have one little gripe( not with the bag, but the packaging) You guys wrap all of the zippers in tape and paper, I 'm assuming to protect them from getting scratched. Do you know when it will absolutely get scratched? When I 'm trying to cut the tape off. Let them be free! Anyway, I love this design. Could be a duffle, could be a backpack, nice separations for travel. Great personal bag for an airplane. It looks slick. More comfortable of a backpack than the basecamp duffle for sure. [ I have enjoyed using the Mystery Ranch 45L Men ’s Bridger backpack, as well as the Scree, 25l RipRack, 22l In and Out, and accessories, which I ’ ve used on long hikes and travels, for a number of years.. They are all comfortable for me, and have durable, long- wearing fabrics, so I expect to continue to enjoy and use them for many years, as MR products are very thoughtfully and well- built.

[ I have several hiking bags, some much more expensive and some lighter and some bigger, the bridger 45 hits the sweet spot for day hikes with the family. Enough features to make access and packing easy and provides support and space for the extras needed while being a parent. The take off lid is nice and the comfort and load distribution is second to none.

[ Good pack. Suits my needs well. I like to do a lot of photography and have been dissatisfied with even photo packs meant to go long distances. I never felt the suspension was very good. This pack has a lot of storage/organization and the way it opens up, it makes getting to equipment easy. I use a removable camera storage unit( an ICU) which fits well and the pack carries much better than my other camera pack.

Recently got the fairview 60litre, ultralight packing cubes and pack pocket. Rucksack comes with a day bag. Enjoy the comfortable day bag that also locks( other rucksacks that come with a day bag I have noticed done have lockable zips so this is a bonus). Day bag clips onto the back or front of the large bag. Packing cubes are great quality unlike others previous brought where the zips broke, wish I brought more of these. I 've been using this Surge backpack since 2019 and it has been great! I 've heard my family's thoughts on the newer model of the same backpack and they are not as impressed. The straps are more prone to breaking and the seams have started tearing pretty early in the life of their backpack. This being said, my older model has been so great! It's gone through years of hauling notebooks, folders, textbooks, water bottles, and clothes for practice after school. One of the shoulder straps did begin to tear last year( 2024) slightly but a quick stitch- job has got it back to working order. I would definitely buy a North Face backpack again!

Very Nice Cooler. Igloo stepped their game up! I did a 24 hour on this cooler as soon as I got it to decide if I would keep it. I put an 7lb bag of ice in it with some bottles of water. I left the cooler outside on the deck in 90 degree weather overnight. I checked at the 12 hour mark and 24 hour mark. At 24 hours the water to ice ratio from the ice was about 80% water 20% ice. The ice water was ice cold and the bottles we ice cold. This is exactly what I wanted the pack for, as most people buying it would use it for 24 hours or less. Ideally, I will be using it for maybe 12 hours max at a time so this pack is perfect for me.

[ I love everything sea to summit builds. It ’s always efficient, intentional, and hits all the spots when traveling and hitting the outdoors. I love the burly zippers, the fact that I can throw liquids in here without worry, and the square shape fits perfectly in my Cotopaxi bag compartments. Some Dopp kits are awkwardly shaped creating weird gaps in my travel bag- but these nestle nicely.

Used bigger two sizes and don ’ t see smaller few as being as useful but maybe for someone else it fits the bill.

[ I have been using Granite Gear cordura compression sacks for many years but took a chance on the Sea To Summit compression sacks. To my surprise, they were not only equally rugged enough to meet the rigor of my motorcycle travel, they were also lighter and more water resistant. Quality product for sure!

[ When I first bought it, I thought there was no way my massive sleeping bag could fit inside. I was wrong. Stuffs perfectly in and fast, too. Feels durable and I ’ ve had no complaints so far. It also compresses down smaller than other similar sacks I ’ ve tried. 10/10!

[ I use it for a 10 deg hammock under quilt as mine only came with a stuff sack. Works well and is lightweight making it easier to keep things in my bag organized and where I want them in my bag. I 've only used it 3 times so far but i do n't see any issues of wear and tear for many years as i do n't usually beat up a compression sack. I do n't store my quilt in it when it's not being used, I just hang it on the hanger with the quilt.

[ This is n't my first Sea to Summit compression sack. They are durable and well- made and just do n't seem to tear or fail. You can really pack a sleeping bag into it. And even though it's not water proof, it does seem to repel water.

[ Last night it rained very hard for Colorado and I stored my pillow and blanket in a 30L light weight stuff sack. I had to run about 3 blocks to my sleeping area. When I got there my stuff sack looked wet, but inside my blanket and pillow were bone dry. Great product I will be recommending them to my friends.

Bought it for the man of the house who does weekender hikes with family in summer it has great amount of pockets to store all his chargers and stuff. When it ’s fully packed it ’s not too heavy. And is a great starter pack.

This is a great pack, very light and versatile. Comes with a nice rain cover that packs easily into the front pocket. The gray color is very cool and keeps the contents of the pack cool on hot sunny trails. I really liked the main front zipper to access what I needed quickly from the pack.

This is such a cool camping/hiking backpack, it has more pockets than I 'd know what to do with. There is a little pocket at the bottom that holds a waterproof cover. It can be easily folded back up to fit inside. There are sturdy metal rods, with a heavy duty mesh piece on the back. It will definitely hold up when hiking. I like that the main compartment can unzip to fit a sleeping bag or other bulky items. I have n't used it yet for hiking but it will be great for our next camping trip!

This bag is a great size and style. It seems to be good quality. Has multiple storage places. The padding on the belt makes it comfortable to wear. Will for sure fit all your hiking/exploring necessities.

The bag is adequately sized for all hikes and most short camping trips. Despite its relatively small size, it boasts a number of impressive features. Firstly, this bag has a small plastic internal frame to provide structure. The frame is lightweight, yet sturdy enough for a fully packed bag. Because of the frame's assistance with weight distribution, everything felt lighter on my back. This bag also has many different pockets and straps for varied packing strategies. The straps on the bottom of the bag are perfect for a sleeping bag, ground mat, or small tent. Underneath those straps is a small pocket that holds an included rain cover to keep your bag totally dry during heavy rain. There is also a pocket on top of the bag for any small items you may need to access on the go, without opening or unpacking the rest of the bag. Finally, there is a pocket for a hydration bladder, so you can stay hydrated as you move. Some other useful features are the emergency whistle on the chest strap, the included strap management bungees( so those leftover strap ends after adjustment are n't hanging everywhere), and the water bottle pockets on the sides. Overall, I would give this product a 5/5. Met or exceeded all of my expectations. I would highly recommend this bag to anybody who is a frequent camper or hiker.

[ These are perfect for foraging. They pack down small for when they are not in use. I carry them all so I can keep different items separate. The mesh allows spores to escape, which is nice for future foraging. There is a carrying strap on the bottom, and the top ties snuggly so nothing falls out. This is my second set, as I loved them so much I bought more.

` I am a 50 year old occasional hiker who has n't had a new pack since college. Just spent 3 days hiking in the Catskills with this pack on my back for 7- 8 hours a day and I love it. Plenty of space and super comfortable. I barely noticed I was even carrying a pack, had zero shoulder or back strain, and like the frame that allows for some airflow through the back area- a big plus hiking in 80+ degree weather. Never had to use the internal rainfly, but that was definitely a selling point for me. Highly recommend!

[ I love this pack. I bought it to replace an older osprey pack that I completely wore out. I love the rigid stays on this backpack so that it sits upright when you put it on the ground and the air pocket helps keep it much cooler, a total bonus when you 're hiking in the hot and humid Smokies.

[ If you 're buying backpacks, Osprey is without a doubt one of the best brands. I currently own at least 5 packs of different sizes for trekking, day hiking and traveling. Osprey incorporates every detail one could want and backs up their work with a great warranty. Look no further!!
