They are very comfortable and the stiffness of the sole has eliminated some plantar pain I was developing with my old shoes. The only objection is that the velcro straps are just barely long enough( I have wide feet). The shoes fit my feet well enough but only with thin liner socks- I 'm not sure these will work well for cold weather rides given my wide feet( and need for thicker socks).

If you live somewhere with 90+ degree weather all summer, you know that most mountain bike shoes are not made for breathability aside from XC shoes which are in general better ventilated. These are a great option for hot weather riding. I think they could apply a lot of the engineering of this show to the hellcat pro and make a knockout trail shoe. The lacing is much more effective on shoes with flexible uppers than typical mountain bike shoes that have become like stiff plastic over the past 10 years. Runs long... I bought a half size down( 11 vs 11. 5) after trying my normal size.

[ Had freerider then trail cross ones and these boa are my favorite. The sole isn ’ t as stiff if you like a stiff sole. These flex close to a real shoe. Very comfortable and super easy on/off. Also least amount of debris in my shoes after a ride. Used for mtb woods north east single track.

[ I 've used these 5- 6 times over the past month or so and have no complaints so far! The only thing I would have appreciated( as a first- time clipless pedal person) is a bit of help/instructions on where to install the clips on the bottom of the shoe for maximum comfort.

[ After MANY road miles and many years on our original Pearl Izumi road bike shoes, my husband and I decided to replace our clips and shoes. Our only point of contention is that mine are cooler than his! The color and style is sweet with a muted gray and a little touch of orange. Everybody knows that orange is dope. [ This is my first pair of actual bike shoes to be honest. Usually wear flat skate type shoes or trainers. I rode in these shoes twice and I can honestly say that there is a significant difference( maybe because I have n't worn bike specific shoes before). I love the shank in the sole, I feel like i have much better control and balance when hitting the bumpy rooted descents and techy spots. The soles are great for gripping flat pedals. I rode in wet conditions on one ride and never had an issue with slipping. I 'm running CB Stamp 1 pedals. I also found it easier to find my foot position quickly again if I need to take foot off and come back to. They fit true to size based on my recent experiences with shoe buying. Love the BOA laces. I was looking for a flat pedal shoe with BOA laces which appear hard to find. I found 3 different shoes and this pair was about$ 25-$ 50 cheaper, but with the same features. I think these are better looking as well in my opinion. I am extremely happy with them. Overall I 'm pretty pumped to have bought this shoe after 2 rides. Hoping the durability is up to par and they last for quite awhile.
