A great unit perfect for roasting/braising and all around cooking. ... This pan may be the most used piece of cast iron I have. ... I preheat it in the oven and this makes for a nice browned crisp

I just love this pizza pan! I spread a little corn meal on the pan and either make my own crust and pizza or I put a frozen pizza in the pan. Both turn out so deliciously. I make other foods on this pan, too. Hambergers, grilled cheese, steaks, fajitas, the food list goes on and on. Makes a great wedding gift at a great price as well. Would highly recommend to everyone.

[ This is excellent for pizza but also works as a cast iron griddle/skillet for every cooking situation. The true seasoning allows use right out of the box with a quick water washing. Easy cleanup makes this my go- to pan.

I have used this two dozen times, and it works really well. I am glad that they added the door because it helps them cook a lot faster. One tip I learned early on is to make sure to let it pre- heat for the best results, I usually like 500 degrees. One thing I should note is that when I was looking at purchasing this, I contacted CC to see if this would work on my cache cooker( a camp chef product from the 90s or so) and they all said that it would not. I am glad to report that it does, so if you have one of those, you are good to buy it.

Have 16& 14 inch pizza oven& have had them for several years. Keep one at home and one in the 5th wheel. These ovens are great& we use them a lot. Lots of comments about `` no doors available to order '' but that is not correct. I called them and ordered a door for each and they just arrived. Thanks Camp Chef!

[ This oven is amazing! Having two spots is essential for making enough pizza for a party. Gets super hot and consistent. Pizzas turn out perfect, firm crust, delicious melted cheese and toppings.

[ For the price, especially on sale, this is certainly going to beat out any stand alone pizza oven. Having this propane stove system with all the possible add ons is very handy for the backyard chef. I have nice leopard spotting on the bottoms of my whole grain pizzas now, which I just could not accomplish in my oven, and without heating up my house.

Extremely happy with our Camp Chef Artisan Pizza Oven. Zero learning curve... made three great pizzas on the first three attempts. On our first attempt, we forgot to bring a rolling pin and as a result turned into more of a deep dish. Still great. Bought another rolling pin to keep in our travel trailer. On the second and third pizzas( different days with using the rolling pin), they were awesome. Prep the pizza, turn the heat on high for two minutes, then turn down to low for the remaining time. We use Trader Joe's pizza dough, TJ's pizza sauce, and TJ's shredded mozzarella, plus our ingredients of choice( spicy pork sausage, jalapeños, and red onions). We also made garlic bread in the pizza oven... also amazing.

Well, here I am in the thick of it, in Spruce Pine NC, no electric, no services, and my refrigerator/freezer slowly defrosting... BUT! Camp Chef to the Rescue!! We set up our Camp Chef Pizza Oven, took the top off( after we baked cinnamon bread for everyone) and proceeded to Water Bath Can all meat and produce!!( Meat quarts 3 hours full boil, season prior, pints 2 hours). This thing is a Miracle! We not only survived, we thrived!!! If willing, please consider donating a few to the area, especially the Green Valley Fire Departement that took care of everyone. We would be thrilled to hand these out. They are Can Do Miracles just like us Appalachian Americans! Thank you for making such an outstanding product!!

So there is a learning curve but seriously we LOVE our pizza oven. It ’s truly an asset to our patio and life. We have both the one for the stand and the one for the fire pit. Both are equally as fabulous although my husband seems to like the wood fired taste better! Bravo Solo you did it again!

Bought the bundle deal and was curious about the learning curve for putting out a good pizza. First try was ok but it has been a home run every time since. Pizzas are loved by everyone and I really love making them!

[ I have a Bonfire fireplace and love it. Friends got a Pizzell pizza stove and it was not great. So when it was time for a pizza oven I got the solo stove. It is amazing. Very sturdy. Friends who own a sub shop came to the house and they made pizzas for us and they were amazed. Said it cooks like their big ovens. I have done pizza, shrimp, vegetables and steak and all turned out perfect. Love this oven. If you want a pizza oven this is the best and only choice.

[ I initially bought the Ooni wood pellet pizza oven but found it too difficult to maintain the correct temperature( totally my issue). Purchased the Karu 12 multi- Fuel and it ’s great! Easy to use, managing the flame is a cinch. Love that it uses propane, wish I could add a little wood- smoke flavor to it and might experiment with soaked wood in foil packets at some point. But I am now making the best pizza we ’ ve had where we live and loving it.

[ I was worried the 16 ” oven would feel too big but I appreciate the extra space for managing the hot spot in the back corner. The pizzas cook quickly and the crust is the perfect texture.

[ We 've only been using our Koda 16 for a few months but are absolutely in love! This has become one of our favorite appliances. We 've also purchased the peels and storage cover as well. Also, the FB community has been very helpful in offering tips and tricks so check it out if you 're just getting started. We 've yielded perfect neapolitan pizzas with beautiful leopard spotting on the crusts and we look forward to expanding our repertoire to include steaks and other menu items soon. It's still early, but I do hope that the quality of the oven lasts for a long time. I have seen various posts about the stone being susceptible to cracking so fingers crossed!

The Ceramic Skillet is excellent. Nothing burns or sticks, no toxic non- stick coating that will peel off and contaminate the food, easy to clean. Highly recommend.

It worked better than I expected. I did n't have to use any oil when making pancakes. They turned out very well. I 'm super impressed with how this pan performed.

Bought this skillet to go in conjunction with the four person flex mess kit. The skillet fits under the smaller pot and can be all packet together. Love it. Works great. It is a bit fragile so you have to be aware not to be rough on it, but regular use pack in for back country trips it works great.( My old MSR steel frying pan and Sierra cup I used to tie to the back of my pack to make noise on my sold trips in Alaska, and other heavily populated bear country) Would not recommend doing that with this! But as far as function, it ’s awesome. Light, cooks fast, even, and easy to clean. Using this over a Optimus nova stove.

As much as I love a good dehydrated meal on the trail, I recently decided I wanted the ability to cook up some proper food so I went on the hunt for a lightweight skillet, and the MSR ceramic skillet absolutely delivered. I was a bit worried about some of the reviews saying the pan would warp or the ceramic coating would burn off, especially since I 'm using it with my small pocket rocket 2 stove, however this was n't the case at all. Just do n't assume you can crank the heat to hi and leave the skillet in one place, as long as you are active while cooking and move the skillet around so the heat disperses a bit more evenly and you modulate the gas, you 'll be cooking up 5 star meals in the backcountry. Just got back from a multi day thru hike and cooked up steak and potatoes for dinner one night, and bacon and eggs the next morning, what a moral boost while on the trail when you have 10+ miles to go that day. I paired the skillet with the alpine plate( which is also the perfect size to use as a lid for the skillet), the universal canister stand for extra stability( I 'd say this is crucial if you 're using a 4oz fuel canister, I 'd almost definitely knock the stove/skillet over without it), and the alpine spatula just for the sake of convenience and saving the ceramic coating. All in all very happy with the purchase and I look forward to cooking many more meals in the backcountry!
