This watch has proven to be an invaluable training companion as I 've embarked on my new running regime. One of the standout features for me has been the comprehensive fitness tracking capabilities. The large, easy- to- read display provides clear real- time metrics on pace, distance, heart rate, and more during my workouts. The GPS functionality is highly accurate, giving me reliable data on my routes and progress. Beyond just the basics, I 've found the wealth of training insights provided by the watch to be incredibly useful. The sleep scoring feature, in particular, has offered valuable feedback on the quality of my rest and how it impacts my readiness for training. The training readiness score has also been remarkably accurate, helping me understand when I 'm primed for a tough workout versus when I need to focus on recovery. The Garmin 965 is the perfect watch for those who want to get into any activity, indoors or outdoors, but who does n't want the full suite of features the Fenix series offers. Since buying and setting up this watch, I have only had to charge it a handful of times. The touchscreen is super useful to be interacting with all of the features on the AMOLED screen. [ Bought this last month. First of, MJ was great in replacing the first unit I received, which had clearly been used( likely prior buyer had returned it after wearing it). The unit I received as replacement has been phenomenal. Very user- friendly, awesome battery life, and what is impressing me so far is that Coros is very actively improving its features. Just this week they started rolling out turn- by turn navigation. While music functionality is somewhat limited right now( only storage of MP3s on the watch itself I have no doubt this will keep getting better as well. But even if not this watch will serve me very well for running, cycling, swimming, indoor rowing, and many other things for years to come.

The GPS has worked great, though I have n't tested it out on routes that might have reduced signal. There is no 'mountain bike' activity, though the regular 'ride' activity works perfectly fine for mountain bike rides. I really like that you can customize the watch face for each activity. The functionality of this watch is seemingly endless. It is great for regular wear and covers normal watch features, and the screen is bright and easily visible even in sunlight, which is a huge change from other digital watches I have had. The exercise tracking provides a plethora of health tie ins that really give a good idea of how effective that walk, run or hike was and the GPS mapping shows performance throughout the entire route. I ’ m not entirely sure about the sleep tracking. It seems to do a fair job, but sometimes tells me I had a nap when I have just been reading or watching a movie. Great idea and probably some real functionality to it. Lastly, the look is perfect. The dark grey titanium and the sapphire glass is awesome, and the ability to change screens and straps means you can have multiple “ different ” watches with very little extra cost. Overall, this watch is exactly what I have been looking for.

I plan to use this watch to record bicycle trips instead of my older Edge 820. The Epix has profiles for a number of different activities. My main interests are walking/hiking, kayaking, and cycling. My older Garmin Vivoactive 4 did not have a specific kayaking activity; I found this mildly annoying. Now I do n't have this problem since the Epix has a specific kayaking activity.

This is my first ever Garmin Watch. So far I am incredibly impressed! It is so nice I am hesitant to get it dirty and am afraid to scratch it. However, it is incredibly durable and I am amazed at how accurate the rep count is and how comfortable the watch is. There is so much customization and features available! I know I will never be able to utilize up to 10 percent of the watches' potential but I will certainly try and continue to build myself with it.

Has performed perfectly( accurate distances – even close to the pin). Design is a bit thick but would prefer that as it appears to be very rugged. Now problem with sweating around the watch band.
