My orthotics fit in these perfectly. Without my orthotics the shoes rubbed against my ankle, but the inserts lifted my heel just enough so that was not an issue anymore. They are much more rigid than my typical athletic shoes, but that is probably beneficial in my case. I will definitely replace these with the same shoe when the time comes.

I sincerely hope that Vasque does n't discontinue the Breeze LT GTX. I 've had a pair of clunkier Vasque's and a pair of Merrell's and these outperform both hands down. I 've worn these in the winter with a thicker pair of socks and in the summer with a thinner pair of socks over the last year of having them and they hold up great in both( although not designed as a winter/snow boot). Hiking summers in Boise desert heat is hard, and these have not once given me a blister, been uncomfortable, or made me question my footing. Everything about them is phenomenal! I recommend them to all of my friends and will continue to buy more pairs. Now I just want more color options please!:)

I bought these for a photography trip to Iceland. As with all my Vasque boots, they fit right out of the box. I hiked on rocky hills and through streams and wet sand beaches and they were a dream. Fully waterproof and comfortable after 12 hour days. Loved they were so much lighter than other hiking boots. Tread on bottom gave sure footing on wet rocks. I couldn ’ t have asked for more!

[ I 've only done about 20 miles in these boots so far, but am VERY happy with them! I read reviews all over the place and decided to follow the advice of ordering a half size up, I will always have to wear a thick sock with them but feel it was still the right way to go. After reading the reviews I was a little concerned about the `` strange arch support '' mentioned by many. I was worried it was going to be similar to Chacos, which I cant wear because of the large arch support, however it's not like that at all and gives more support under your heal( not sure how to best explain this(:) and I find it very comfortable. These seemed pretty stiff at first but after one 5 mile hike they loosened up and feel very similar to a tennis shoe. I do have to mention that the heal box is oddly large, this does n't seem to be an issue for me, but thought I would mention it incase it would be helpful to someone else. All in all I would say if your on the fence about these you should just go for it!

I dont think they are sturdy enough for heavy backpacking but for a light day pack, no problem. I prefer the wide version though as it gives me just a bit more toe box room, not necessarily extra width but roomier. I am hoping these will break in enough to be as comfortable as the wider version. But a great comfortable boot overall.

First, I ’ d like to share how amazing Vasque ’s customer service is. I initially purchased a differed boot that wasn ’ t hardy enough for the type of hiking I do- Vasque allowed me to return the boot immediately! So instead of going back to the brand I was with before( Scarpa) I decided to stick with Vasque and purchased this boot with my refund money. I am so glad I did. These boots really hold up with all the things the white mtns throw at you with little break in needed. I did need to loosely lace the boots and insert a toe box stretcher for my own needs but the boot has now confirmed to my foot. I fully submerged both feet by mistake several times. My feet were kept dry and warm. I felt my ankles were supported and my boots got more comfortable as my hike went on. I think I used the first 10 miles of the boot to break it in- and I just completed a 20 mile, 4 4000k peak hike in the whites. Zero blisters or hot points on my feet. Thank you vasque!!!

I have hypermobile joints, arthritis in my feet, bunions, and roll my ankles a lot; I ’ ve been on the hunt for the perfect shoe for years so that I could not be in pain every time I walk and this is it! Fantastic arch support( especially with a memory foam Redwing insole), great ankle support( no more rolling ankles), and the fit and construction are perfect. I ’ ve had a few pairs of Norvan shoes in the past that I really liked, but this new update is the best. I unfortunately don ’ t live near much off road terrain and end up using these a lot on pavement, but even for pavement, they ’ re quick, durable, and adapt well to road conditions. They ’ re also pretty grippy in snow and icy conditions. The shoe laces are a bit slick, but there ’s a little pocket on the tongue of the shoe where you can tuck the laces to keep them tied and out of the way. One of the best aspects of these shoes is how washable they are. I have a light pair that I get pretty muddy and they clean right up with a run through the washer.

I have been hiking in Lone Peaks, buy they were not providing the cushion that I needed. I tried the Olympus, but they run small and ended up losing the skin and nail off one of my toes. I recently trekked EBC in a pair of them and would like to share my thoughts. First impressions: Light weight. Easy to put on and take off. The Footshape is there. The outsole worked well- I only slipped a few times on extremely loose dirt while descending, but never fell. The infamous ankle rubbing from the stitching is also there, but only when I was trying on with thin socks, so thick pairs of socks are highly recommended. Aesthetic wise, like many here mentioned, the leather parts are black, but the fabric parts are reflective that they appear a bit brownish grey and some parts in dark navy in certain lighting condition. Overall, they worked well and got me through the trek just fine.

I bought the shoes because we own 2 large Golden Doodles who need to go outside or be walked several times a day. Sometimes we run. These shoes have gone thru mud, snow, puddles, and more, and never missed a beat. My feet stayed dry and I just rinsed the shoes upon returning inside and good as new. I normally wear a 7. 5, but sized up to an 8 and the fit is perfect. I really like the extra room in the toebox, so I can wiggle my toes. However, the shoes do tend to run a bit narrow, so just a heads up if you have a wide foot. The shoes easily accomodated my orthotic once I pulled out the insole provided.( Hey, Nike, these shoes should have a unglued, easily removable, insole!) Overall, I am thrilled with my purchase.

[ Aside from looking like a regular pair of training shoes, these are amazing on the trails! The tread is light enough to be able to run short distances( I ’ ve done about 5 miles mostly incline so far), but also grips and helps with stability on uneven dirt paths. Fit perfectly from day 1 and I used them for hiking, ordinary wear around town, and even to a casual restaurant dinner. Got many compliments along the way. [ I have hiked 1000's of miles on Asolo boots over the years and had many models. This one runs a tad bigger ue I have always been a 10 in the boot line so I would say it fits more like a 10. 5 but comfortable. Very rigid sole, which I look for in a boot and slightly on the heavier side, which does n't bother me. I did see where someone complained about a stitching clustster were the toungue is sewn together amd that was rather uncomfortable as it sat directly beneath one of the lace locks. I took a pair of flat nose pliers to the material wad.. for lack of a better term.. lol and worked it over a bit w the pliers squeezing and turning wo tearing it! So do n't go to crazy just cruah it down and it solved that problem rather easily. Great boot. Fit is larger. Crush the extra material to soften it.

The fit and feel, perfection. Now, I literally hiked the soles off of the old pair. The toes cracked. Laces frayed but original. Should I have replaced them awhile ago- I did with the charcoal version. But kept these in my closet as a remembrance of my first pair of hikers that took me through the PCT AT. They wear well, almost zero break in, and the scars just as character. Thanks Asolo for a great boot and for keeping a classic, an unchanged classic.

Finally!!! A lightweight hiking shoe that allows for my high arches and supports the heel really well. I can lace them to fit my narrower feet and can wear them with medium thickness hiking socks with no problem either. I have worn them around the local area and can not wait to get them out onto the trails.

I like how lightweight these shoes are, to function well for hiking as well as generally walking and running around. They are adjustable with the bungee and comfortable for hours, especially as someone who has narrow feet. It runs true to size but in hindsight I should have gotten a little bigger to accommodate thicker socks for hiking.

Great hiking shoes. I love that it is easy to clean the smudges off when I go walking on trails. The soles are a bit hard and will need to get used to. There are no need to tie up the laces which I like since it won ’ t come loose. You can still adjust them though.

This is my forth pair of these shoes. I wear them every day( whether I 'm going hiking or going to work) and they me last 4- 5 years. I like them because they 're very comfortable and the GORE- TEX keeps my feet dry. They also get a great grip on the trail and protect my feet from all manner of trail hazards. On the negative side, the sole separates from the shoe after a few years. It ’s possible to glue the sole back on, but for what these cost, the soles shouldn ’ t come unglued.

[ The boots are amazingly comfortable. I have worn them on camping trips with some water crossings, hiking, general outdoor activities, and also some around the house work. Once I figured out how to tie them to fit my foot better I could n't hardly tell I had them on. They breathe well and my feet feel fresh and dry. I also wear wool socks which add to that. That traction is there for me in everything I 've put them through. I believe I 've found my new favorite boots.

This is my third pair of Danner ’s I also have a pair of Bull run moc toe and Loggers 917 gtx. This pair like the loggers I had to break in but only because my feet have bunions and the the toe box is a bit more narrow. Other than that they fit like a glove and the more I wear them the more comfortable they get. I love the way they look. Will buy another in the future.
