I wear size 14 US athletic shoes and got a 49 size( about 13. 5 US) in these shoes and am very happy with the length. They stay tight and do n't stretch over the ride like my old ones did. Much easier to hike- a- bike without the steal toe cleats like my old shoes too. Maybe less than stellar: Feels kind of bulky in the forefoot sole if you 're standing on rocks, but it 's tolerable. I do n't notice it when riding though. Not sure how long the BOA system will last. It seems like I 'm going to pull it apart when I disengage it, but time will tell. I would recommend these. In fact, I 'm going to get my girlfriend a pair.

[ This is my first pair of actual bike shoes to be honest. Usually wear flat skate type shoes or trainers. I rode in these shoes twice and I can honestly say that there is a significant difference( maybe because I have n't worn bike specific shoes before). I love the shank in the sole, I feel like i have much better control and balance when hitting the bumpy rooted descents and techy spots. The soles are great for gripping flat pedals. I rode in wet conditions on one ride and never had an issue with slipping. I 'm running CB Stamp 1 pedals. I also found it easier to find my foot position quickly again if I need to take foot off and come back to. They fit true to size based on my recent experiences with shoe buying. Love the BOA laces. I was looking for a flat pedal shoe with BOA laces which appear hard to find. I found 3 different shoes and this pair was about$ 25-$ 50 cheaper, but with the same features. Did a plyometric session in these and they were great. Very cushioned and the carbon plate in the shoe gives good feedback. Kept my foot stable and secured. Bounding felt great in these. I have not competed in them yet, so we will see. I 'm usually a size 10. 5 but ordered an 11 because they do run small. The 11 was fine for me so I would n't worry about ordering a size up.

As a high school triple jumper I can say that this is the best triple jump spike on the market. I have tried other options and I can confidently say that if you do not have these spike you are at a major disadvantage in a competition. I have had 3 pairs and all of them are still in perfect condition to jump after 2 years I would recommend that you go a minimum half a size up if you would like them to fit snug. other than that I have no complaints about the fit. The cushion on the heel is in my option the best part about the shoe. It allows to be able to absorb the impact that face on the second phase of your jump while not taking away from that power that you can create on your first and last phase. The bottom plate of the shoe works exactly how you would want while performing your jump. the flat heal and aggressive toe design allow you to get the desired heel to toe movement that is so crucial in the triple jump. The carbon plate is very strong and helps create power in the third phase of the jump. In the next generation of the spike I would like to see firm feel of the toe much like the Adidas sp2 so that you can maximize the total push of that you are able to get in you last phase to drive you into the pit even farther.
