Only issue I had which was before even leaving for the trip- was the loop on the back of one of the shoes ripped off the first time I put it on. This is my third pair of Newports. Very comfortable and fit is good with a wide enough toe box for easy walking with no blisters or lost nails. I 'm not sure why, but the Newport H2 did n't fit the same way so I went back to the old standby Newports. Best sandals I 've found for comfort while taking 2- 3 mile walks.
