My original pair of Bearpaws for wide calves( different make) is starting to wear out after 5 winters. I found a wide pair I liked, and bought it in the same size. No issues at all! These boots actually fit those of us with wide calves( and feet). I really appreciate that the ankle tapers in a bit, instead of being the same diameter as the leg shaft. The waterproofing and stain- resistance has worked so far. I like that they 're real fur and leather, which is much better for the environment than faux. The wool inside is so cozy and keeps my feet warm without overheating. It's going to be very cold where I live over the next few days- high temps in the teens- so I guess the real test is coming. If you 're on the fence about these, just buy them.

I wear an 8- 8. 5 normally in shoes, usually an 8 when while sizes only. So many reviews, and even the BearPaw site, said these run small by 1- 2 sizes, so I got the 9. That was a mistake! After wearing them a few times, they now slip so bad and they definitely packed out enough to the point that an 8 would ’ ve been perfect. Wish I could exchange for the 8, but I ’ ve worn them. Bought these for my son to wear while working with livestock in the winter. I like how they are n't too tall but hopefully tall enough to keep the livestock elements out. Also appreciate the pull- on handles so he's not jumping around trying to get them on.

These boots are just what I have been looking for so that my girls can play outside at school during those wet, messy days. I like the fact that they are warm enough for winter temps too. They seem very durable and are easy to clean. I did have to size up as they seemed to run a little smaller, but my girls should get longevity out of them.

My children wear their bogs everyday in the winter! They are so warm and sometimes they do n't even need socks. Their feet stay dry inside the boots unless the kids start kicking water at each other; but that's just kids for you. Overall, the best shoes from fall to early spring here in Ohio.

[ Bought these as a Christmas gift for my wife. She saw them in Jackson Hole and thought they were pretty. Not in her size though. I hope they fit. If not will put them on our mantle, cause they are pretty.

[ This boot is great for ankle stability. Even on uneven terrain, my foot and ankle have minimal or no movement. I did need a wide size, even though I normally don ’ t need one. They are stiff out of the box, but the stiffness eases if worn for a couple days. Roomy toe box and easily takes after market orthotics.

[ I bought these about a month ago and I honestly wish I had gotten these sooner. I had been looking around for a pair that seemed to do well and they have been great. As I ’ ve gotten into situations that involve water these guys have definitely kept me dry the entire time!
