As a former personal trainer, I was pleasantly surprised when such a small, lightweight, and inexpensive machine could provide such a wonderful workout. I also love the convenience of this product. It is completely self- powered, except for the battery- operated step/time/calorie/distance counter, easy to put together, and even easier to use. It is also versatile. You can stride forwards and backwards while standing, with or without the resistance bands, and you can also turn the product around and stride forward and backwards while seated. You can literally burn calories while sitting on your couch watching TV. Sturdy, nothing wobbles/rattles. Very quiet, I can watch TV on normal volume. The seat has nice cushion. Display is simple, easy to use. Assembly was more extensive than expected but easy enough for one person. I have a 27 '' inseam and the shortest setting only fits when I 'm wearing shoes, which is fine since bare foot would hurt( the peddles are spiky for grip). I would n't recommend this style( upright) over `` recumbent '' for anyone with back issues, since there's no backrest. Also this works out more than just your legs( glutes, abs, back, etc) where recumbent is just legs. The folding feature is nice but I actually do n't use it since the bike size is already compact.

I wanted a foldable treadmill specifically so I could exercise in winter and bad weather without it always being in the way. This is easy to fold up and roll in and out of the closet when the weather does n't allow me to walk or bike outdoors. This really works well and does n't take a lot of space.. Assembly is easy with the supplied tools. It runs quietly, so far, so that you can watch TV or read while using it. We found a standing workout was tricky as the flywheel does n't provide enough momentum for a smooth, non jerky feel. Might be okay with practice but seems better and smoother from a sitting position. A Youtube video mentioned raising the front with two 2x4s but I felt that put bending stress on the `` Bottom Board '' so I built a ramp that supported the entire machine. Happy with it so far.

We spent a week researching every treadmill described as __quote__folding__quote__ to find one with the smallest distance from the wall when folded. We have a small home and wanted a treadmill that could be stored against the wall, taking up the least amount of space from the wall. After spending an hour or two assembling it, we turned the page in the manual to find __quote__how to fold__quote__. Basically, this treadmill folds by undoing all the steps we just completed to assemble it! It is not really a folding treadmill. Taking apart is not the same as folding, in our opinion.

New motor shipped and instruction on replacement was provided. I bought the teeter hang up in December because my wife has a bad back. I researched the teeter freestep because she uses a similar device in her physical therapy sessions and woth it missing a step this is amazing and she loves it and so do I. I 've been using it 3 times a week for around 30- 40 minutes over the past 2 weeks. I incorporate 5- 10 pound dumbbells into my workouts and `` wow '' can I feel the burn. I have gained over 30 pounds from menopause and this stepper has helped me fit into my jeans a lot easier. The product would be better if it allowed greater depth in the steps and a better quality calorie counter. It's kind of a pain to keep resetting the counter after every workout. I did notice some squeaking when I adjusted the knob on the front. It might be something that I can fix with WD40 or bolt grease. It's definitely worth trying this product if you need to switch up your workout routine.

Step one: buy this bike. Step two: buy a bike seat cushion. Listen, this is not going to be a bike that radically changes your life. It's not going to be so full of cool features that you turn into one of those cyclers that are going ham at 4am with some virtual workout group. What it is going to do is get the job done. I was great about going to my locally affordable gym until March 2020. Then I was like a 3 mile walk a day is fine. Then that was n't fine. Cut to me searching for a bike that was affordable but tough and also compact. Are there better bikes? Absolutely. Does it do anything cool? No, it most certainly does n't. It is literally a stationary bike with an electronic reader that is a step above some of your kids talking toys. This bike is n't going to let you whip around and jump up and down like you 're suddenly full of the Spirit. The bike DOES give you a reliable machine to work up to building decent stamina. It has an 8 step tension setting and out of the box setting 3 is going to make you regret the decision to bike for an hour. If you can get one of these that is n't busted and has all the parts it's going to be a workhorse. And if I personally can have it for a year it will have nearly been the same price for a whole years gym membership($ 200). How much space does it take up? About the size of 2 kitchen chairs. Is it heavy? It's heavy enough( 70 lbs) that if your place has a rug or any carpeting at all you 're not going to want to lug it up and down the stairs or from one room to another. No carpeting? Feel free to store it wherever, the very flat wheels are a smooth and easy glide and make me wish I could rip up my rugs because I 've realized I am not the kind of person that is going to store the bike in the backroom with the washer and then schlep it out to another room to actually exercise. Is it hard to put together? I took a leisure 1. 5 hours to put it together and that was with fighting with connecting the tension cable and accidentally attaching the feet backwards on either end. How much weight does it hold? They `` say '' 300lbs but I 'm pushing it at 6ft and 250lbs. The handles do not like when I put too much weight on them and the peddles will `` skip '' if my full weight is applied while standing and cycling. I do n't think this is the bike for you if you 're 300lbs( +/- 25lbs). What's the electronic reader like? It's garbage. Use your phone or a smart watch to clock your time/heart rate/distance. The company should have just made the reader a cup and cellphone holder. Why has your review been negative if you 're recommending it? I 'm keeping it real. This bike is most def for those of us who need exercise but you 're not about to start running outdoors or committing yourself to doing a workout video a day.

I am very happy with this purchase. Putting together was fairly easy. You do need two people. I would recommend pulling up YouTube videos to help with the directions. I should have done more research before buying. This bike is not pedal assist at all. The motor is basically useless as it does not provide any assistance while pedaling. If you have your feet on the pedals but do n't pedal, it does not move no matter what level you are on.. I ordered for my wife who has bad knees and was hoping it would assist her in pedaling but unfortunately it does n't. It will work for her somewhat but it's not what i thought it would be. With that said we will probably keep it. I did give 4 stars though. because it was my mistake for not doing my homework. If you are looking for a pedal assist bike however, this is not.

It was a little more expensive than the others I had seen, but the craftsmanship and smoothness of this machine is far better than any others I had seen and tested. It was easy to assemble and the directions for use are simple. I am so pleased with how smooth this machine is. The timer, counter and calorie counter really help keep me motivated. It's a wonderful workout machine for those of us with `` desk jobs. '' Best part is.... The machine is smooth and very quiet. I have owned 3 spinner bikes, and I find this to have almost an identical motion and feel, except it is much quieter, more compact, and less expensive. I sometime place a chair in front with it's back to me, and it is similar to the handlebars on a bike( also if you need balance the chair serves this purpose). I did n't think I would use the Strider while sitting; However, sometimes I have completed my workout, but the movie or TV program in front of me has n't finished, so I turn the strider around sit down and pedal rather than just sitting in front of the TV. This is one of those purchases that has proved to be better than I expected.
