I 've had these for six weeks of summer on sidewalks and woods' rutty trails where they 've been great-- perfect insulation from the ground's surface, good traction on wet and/or uneven ground, plenty roomy for my wide forefeet whether w/ socks or not, and w/ a springy stride. They are also too wide in the heel but nonetheless keep my heels from sliding around. And they 're the best clog design IMO for staying dry in light rain w/ a wide- enough umbrella. As I experiment more with different styles, one thing that will always remain a nonnegotiable is comfort. After a week of wear, the laurel court low lace up shoe delivers just that: comfort, style, and a hint of nostalgia. The shoe design and color overall allows for style versatility. I will note although the color is labeled white, it appears slightly ivory or off white. For a platform style shoe, it did n't feel overly heavy as if I was walking with bricks attached the sole. The shoe was true to size for me and I did n't have to break in the shoe like most of the shoes out now. Hopefully in the future Timberland will release more in different colors or patterns because I will definitely buy.

I can not speak for waterproof quality as I have not worn the shoe in wet conditions, but FJ has always warrantied thier products well and so I think that will be A+ as well.
