This is a great basketball hoop and is worth spending the extra money on something more sturdy. It has a good basketball feel to it especially with the backboard and is a perk that the height can be adjusted based on your needs. We 've already had kids dunk on it and I 'm not concerned with it being able to be pulled into the pool. The other nice aspect is the base can be set behind the coping and the hoop itself will still be over the pool. The set up was fairly straight forward. You will need another person to assist towards the end to connect the backboard but its not overly heavy. Definitely recommend!

I was actually really shocked with the quality of this poolside basketball hoop. We ’ ve bought ones in the past that were flimsy or couldn ’ t stand up to my teenage nephews intense summer poolside games, but this one looks like it will do the trick. It arrived quickly and was well packaged. Unfortunately due to heavy rains, it took almost a month before we could assemble and test it out. Assembly was quite easy. My two daughters completed most of it solo. It looks great once assembled and it ’s very sturdy. I ’ m really excited for all the use we will get out of it this summer. The Dunn- Rite Clear Shot Combo Set is a pretty sweet dual- use pool toy. The bases fill with water and are quite sturdy. The volleyball net stays nice and taut over the water and doesn ’ t knock over when the ball hits it. The clear backboard basketball hoops are also nice and sturdy when attached to the bases. I did deduct one star because some of the hardware would not fit the pre drilled holes without some trimming of the excess plastic around the drill holes. No big deal for me but I could see someone not able to trim those pieces having issues assembling the product safely.

Assembly was definitely not 90 minutes but family enjoyed putting this together as we all participated in it. Agree with another review that it is heavy once filled up and the fact the instructions pointed that out in the beginning. Would highly advise to have it where it will be used before you fill it up! It is heavy and difficult to move so I would n't try by yourself! We added a weather proof bag with another 100 pounds of sand to keep on top and it survived 60mph winds that came through where we live. I will say, I keep it lowered to 8 feet when it was windy and it kept it lower to the ground vs extended to 10 feet. Crank is easy to work and markings on pole are easy to read. Would buy again!

I bought a budget hoop for the kids a couple of years ago and it was fine, but now that they ’ re older and taking basketball more serious, it was time to upgrade as they recognized how flimsy their old basket was compared to gym quality equipment. After days of research I decided on the Momentous Arena goal and have been very pleased. Not only does it look better than cheaper units but the setup is in fact much much simpler. It took me around an hour by myself, but I was in no hurry. The sound coming off the glass is better and it doesn ’ t rattle around like our old goal. Another plus is how easy it is to take down, seeing as I have it set up right on the road; no more worrying about delivery trucks snagging the net if it ’s going to be unused for a period of time. I added this to my basketball hoop over a year ago because I have kids of various ages and I knew the younger ones would n't be able to keep the ball out of the neighbor's yard while the older kids have the hoop at 10 ft. Wow, this product has been great for my basketball goal setup. My kids were constantly chasing the ball down the long hill behind the goal. I tried a cheaper version before this and it would only stop about 25% of the balls so I look it off. This one keeps most of the shots on the court. We purchased the Slam- It Pro to replace our broken rim and so far we love it. Parts: came with everything we needed. I do recommend reviewing the installation prior to taking down the old one. We were required to use a spacer from the old one so I could see that being something someone would toss. Installation: was a bit tough because you do not have a lot of space to work with. We installed it with the backboard upright so that could have been part of the reason we took a while to get the bolts secured. Use: once installed we have used it and it is sturdy. cant complain about it. All that is left to see is how well it takes on daily use.
