Our town in NH only allows fires of out size to be cooking fires before 5 pm. We decided to start cooking breakfast over the fire. We use this with a cast iron skillet and griddle to make all sorts of breakfast foods. This fits perfect over our fire pit and works exactly as expected. [ This portable fold- up X- Grill by Oniva is great for grilling burgers, sausages, and simple cuts of meat. It folds up really nicely and comes with a handy over- the- shoulder carrying bag. The bag and compact design makes it very easy to take with you if you want to grill things at a tailgate, at the beach, or at a park, for example. The grill itself gets the job done well enough but leaves a few things to be desired. The grates are n't perfectly lined up with the side that holds it in place and it is a little bit wobbly since the grate is also made of three pieces attached together. The charcoal sits very close to the cooking grates so food items cook very quickly and can burn more easily, resulting in things like burgers and hotdogs working out well but not so much for more complicated food items like chicken. Ideally a cover or lid would be a great additional feature to help control airflow and to control how hot the grill gets. All in all, this X- Grill is still a very handy thing to have on hand since it can easily be stored away when not in use. I also wish the bag that it came with had a zipper or a velcro closure because as it is now, it's just a non- secure flap that tucks into the bag, allowing for the grill to slide out if it falls over.

I ’ ve had my griddle for a year and used about twice a month and my top has absolutely no deterioration or excessive wear. The griddle has never seen any metal cooking utensils or abrasive cleaning products or tools. I use only Pit Boss utensils for the griddle and clean with Dawn soap, water and the Pit Boss scrub pad( recommended by Pit Boss). Another tip would be to not use oil( as you would with a steel grill). I use butter and only enough to flavor. My experience is better than most reviews. You can ’ t treat this griddle like a steel top.

Long honest review here and I want to start this review off with this is my very first full sized griddle. I have always just used the Camp Chef Sidekick Griddle on the Woodwind Smoker. Before buying I put in my time researching and looking at reviews and I am so happy I went with The Gridiron 36. This thing is sturdy, easy to use, and just looks badass. I am about 2 months in and keep saying I ’ m glad I stuck with Camp Chef equipment. First it arrived in perfect condition and was easy to put together. Everything about it is fantastic. The lid is awesome and love how it ’s connected for easy on and off. The four burners and ignition is great and have not had a single issue. Extremely quiet when I turn it on. The shelves on the side are useful for everyday cooking and yes the one above the propane tank doesn ’ t fold down but that ’s okay I don ’ t fold them down to begin with even with the cover. Grease management is a breeze and love that it ’s in the front and easy access from underneath. I have the cover and griddle mat which I strongly suggest. IF you want some kind of critique or one thing I wish was different. I wish the line for the propane was not directly up front and in the rear, kind of hidden, but that ’s purely cosmetic and does not affect a thing. I ’ m over it already. My buddies have a popular competitor griddle and it just looks small and not as well built as the Gridiron 36. Next up is buying some of the magnetic attachments. After every cook I think I verbally say to my wife I ’ m glad I chose Camp Chef again!

So it's been 2 months and I 've been smoking like a mad Man. This was a replacement for an Oklahoma Joe's longhorn. I always smoked with pure oak and it was very difficult to control the temperature. This smoker is ridiculously simple. I 've done pulled pork, homemade pastrami, ribs, and brisket. I was also very pleasantly surprised about the Wi- Fi and wireless. I was able to check the temperatures when I had to go out somewhere just in case. This is for a long smoke on a brisket is pretty handy. I also purchased the sides seer which include a ridiculously large BTU burner. That burner has been phenomenal for searing sous vide steaks in under a minute. One thing I did not initially buy was the griddle, but I ordered that and with the sides here burner it is one of the handiest griddles I 've ever used, best temperature control over the whole area. I have a high- end gas stove in the house and it's griddle does n't come close to how good the temperature control is. My one recommendation is somehow that I do n't have to throw away that shelf and use it or mount it at the bottom. You can see that I made my own modification to put that shelf instead of throwing it away to mount on the bottom.

I was fortunate enough to get one of these in the spring of 2022 and we got it for our camper. This grill has been amazing and has blown away everyone that has tasted the food we have cooked on it. I have made steaks, corn on the cob, breakfast sausage, brats hot dogs, burgers, smoked hard boiled eggs, etc. and everything has come out amazing. I had a friend we were camping with recently tell me the steak we ate off of the grill was the best he's ever had. The first time we took it out was shortly after I bought it and I had n't had the opportunity to smoke it in yet, so I did it at the campsite. It created a lot of smoke and attracted a few campers. I showed them how it folded down for transportation as well as how much cooking surface there is( more sq. in. than my now retired original Jr. Traeger!). They all came back later for a taste and agreed it was amazing. 2 of the 4 campers texted me later and shared that they bought Camp Chef smokers when they returned to home to Montana and North Dakota, respectively. I 've been using my BBQ grill box with my Explorer for 10+ years. It has been used as an every- day grill, camping grill, party grill, baseball tournament grill, etc... very heavy usage. Zero issues. Great packaging job however the sides of the grill suffered small dents on each side. These dents will not affect performance of grill. The hopper was also dented enough that the grate would not fit. I took a soft blow hammer and banged out the dent. My biggest gripe was it is not depicted or stated how and where to store excess wire for the temperature probe? Assembly was easy, I like how the bags of hardware were labeled by step. This helped make assembly a breeze. Definitely a two man job and the only tool need was a Phillips screwdriver.

I purchased. BB30 BBQ for my Pro 60 14 ” stove. After purchase I found that the BBQ would not close completely with the pizza stone inserted in the BBQ. The two tabs that secure the BBQ grate during transport provide an interference with the pizza stone. Without modification of the tabs, these two items are not compatible with one another. The modification was simple for me and I am now happy with my purchase, but not all buyers will have the ability to make them work together. Buyer beware. Camp Chef has been a part of my family for forty years- this is the first issue I have had with three stoves and many accessories.

I purchased my Woodridge grill a few weeks ago and have cooked on it four times so far. I absolutely love this wood pellet grill. Being able to control all aspects of cooking by using the Traeger app on my phone is amazing. One of the things the app does is alert me when the meat I am cooking has reached the desired internal temperature. Because of this, I can check on the status of what I am cooking from anywhere. If you purchase a Traeger grill, the wifi feature is definitely worth the money.

I had a competitor ’s grill for over 5- years but found I was always looking at Traeger, wishing I had one. I bought a Woodridge and I love it. I love the digital display, how I can turn the dial to any temperature I want or need. I love the WiFi connection and how I can control the whole cook and pre- heat process from my phone. I also love the way this grill is constructed. It ’s heavy and it ’s sturdy. The enameled finish is beautiful and the engineering is like none I ’ ve seen thus far. This is my grill that I will have till one of us is no longer able to be fixed. I love it.

I have owned many grills and smokers. The Traeger Ironwood is by far the best. The largest issue of owning a pellet grill is the maintenance. If you use it a lot and do n't clean out the ash box and the grease build up it can create many issues. The design of the Ironwood makes cleaning almost fun. It is by FAR the simplistic cleaning process for any pellet fed. The Traeger also rules king for all the other very important items, temp regulation, waterproof design, superior app connectivity, durability all design, etc. My only complaint would be the probe situation. The wired probes work flawlessly. I do n't like that we are restricted to a certain wireless probe that works directly with the Traeger app though. This is not a large issue, they do have a wireless option and I have not used it, but I do n't want to be tied to one wireless option. I am sure they have the capability to integrate their app with other wireless probe manufacturers which could resolve this issue.

First time buying a pellet grill/smoker and couldn ’ t be more pleased with the final product. Very easy to use and easy to assemble, though I do recommend two people put this together as putting some the parts together require an extra set of hands. It holds temp really well and I ’ ve already had a handful of smokes on it and the results are incredible. Traeger makes it so easy. Highly recommend the Woodridge.

I ’ ve never owned a smoker nor been close to anyone that does. My son in law got one last month and I had a chance to use his. Wow, what a difference this is using the PitBoss to prepare a good piece of meat. 🥩 almost to easy! The results were fantastic! It made a nubee like me cook like a pro! Well maybe, just someone that knew what he was doing around a smoker. Of course I had to get one for myself. I now have a PB1600. Can ’ t wait to get it up and running.
